For me, I lost a lead because my opponent attached a special energy and it filled my screen. It wouldn’t let me minimize and do my next turn so I had to quit out. This is new but I’ve experienced the apps connection time out for no reason many times. This happen to anyone else?

Hello everyone! I'm here today with a couple questions about my Steven's Metagross list.

This weekend, I will be playing it to a mid-year celebration at a store I've never played at, so I have no clue what their meta is.

I've decided to play Steven's Metagross, as it's one of my favorite decks and has a decent amount of good matchups. I ended up removing a battle cage for a shaymin, as if you're against a slowking or hydragon and they manage to knock out both my beldums, there is literally nothing i can do.

I have two main questions

- Against Zoroark, what do I do if they play reshiram? Just cry, or is there a strategy I should try?

- What card(s) do you think are the LEAST necessary? I'd like to add in a transceiver or two to increase consistency

I was really intrigued by the Toucanon version to have a draw and beatstick option but it def makes the tight bench space a lot tighter

It's a cool mill/control deck idea but I'm mainly wondering why they use Centiskorch and not Zweilous. The latter seems a bit easier to set up since you can Poffin for Deino and Dreepy. And you have the option to use Hydreigon ex if you want

Mega Zeraora ex's Thunderous Fist reads as dealing 60 damage for each Lightning Energy attached to it. It does not specify basic. Voltaic Lightning Energy provides Lightning Energy while it is attached to a Pokemon, increasing the damage of the Lightning Pokemon it is attached to by 20. Does this count towards Thunderous Fist's 60 per Lightning Energy or no?

So I wasn't really planning it, but i hit arceus with toucannon lmao. This deck has been a blast and hits like a train. It can brick a bit, but its usually pretty legit. It can struggle with super big Megas, but it can take em down eventually.

The main idea here was to attack for free while using Hilda, Dudunspare & Enriching as a draw engine. Other than auto losses like Bastiadon what else needs considering?

Been wondering how you guys been converting your decklists to a cardmarket list, been trying to do it by hand but that takes way to long, been trying to use chatgpt or Gemini for it aswell but they struggle ofc (might be a skill issue as I'm not a fan of using it).

Anyone know if there's a community build tool for it or something?

I want to build 30 themed decks as a fun celebration for the 30th anniversary. I want these decks to homage to former metas, championship decks, alongside some personal themes. I think it would be fun to try and make them all work in the standard format, but I know that might not be possible.

I had room on my bench and no effects on my bench size. It showed basic Pokemon still in my deck but said none of them are valid.

Any possible reason for this?

The problem is ending up with Pokemon and a stadium in your hand for multiple turns in a row. Unbricking is literally impossible.

This list from Beweartheawakening looks good too, don't have the coins to purchase yet but I like fire breather to thin the deck. I also want to add 2 baby Delphox, Bastidon and I like the goodra for locking.

Have you guys experimented? What's your take on Delphox for Trick Portal?

In a matchup that would have previously been impossible to beat, Gladion makes all the difference.

I am playing kazam with Toucannon and festival lead is not a great matchup for me. Gladion is really powerful and very popular. I do know that Flutter mane is a counter but playing a tech card like flutter is really annoying. Any help?

I have been playtesting a new Slowking build with Dusknoir (basically a must now with the rise of more single prize decks), & I think I’m gettin closer and closer to its final form (for now)! Admittedly was loving alakazam toucannon, but I really did miss my multi prize KOs lol

For too long, Mamoswine ex has languished after the rotation of Pidgeot ex. We've tried many strange and exciting combinations in the past (such as Mamokazam), but now, with Pitch Black, we have a new colorless stage 2 ability card-getter mon: Toucannon!

I also want to point out the spicy addition to the list in Gwynn. Ever since Gwynn was announced, I was looking for ways to make this card work for lists it wasn't intended for. The real issue with Gwynn is that it is seldom often that you randomly draw into the cards needed to actually reliably hit max value with Gwynn.

Enter Grand Tree. Grand Tree asks that you build your deck with much thicker stage 2 lines than you ordinarily would run in order to more consistently guarantee your evolutions. This comes at a cost later in the game when the deck (and your hand) are gunked up with useless evolution pieces you no longer need. But with Gwynn, you turn your extra evo pieces into draw fodder for the deck, and with Mamoswine ex able to search them out for you, you can much more consistently get full value out of your Gwynn.
