I checked it out today, knowing this place was co-signed by The Booj and Yum Yum Yow. The cinnamon bun was still warm and gooey, and the pastry on the savoury mushroom danish was absolutely perfect.

The cinnamon bun is brioche style. My preference is a more doughy, yeasted bread cinnamon roll, but it was still delicious.

Im not affiliated with them at all, just spreading some love for a local, independent business doing something right. I highly recommend this spot.

I saw this during a walk downtown. The interior seems recently renovated and there are dining chairs placed on top of tables. Is there a new restaurant opening there soon?

This is what’s missing in Ottawa. A gourmet non-vegan cinnamon roll only bakery. Montreal has one. Toronto has one. Ottawa doesnt. I know so many people whining about the lack of one in Ottawa.

I’m from Edmonton and I sooo miss Cinnzeo, a chain of cinnamon roll bakeries in Western Canada. It’s a million times better than Cinnabon. We have nothing like it in Ottawa.

The only place in Ottawa to get cinnamon rolls are basic & average Cinnabon and vegan (🤮) Cinnaholic. I literally couldn’t even finish. Was so gross!

Please rich business people of Ottawa, you wanna make a ton of money?…open a Cinnamon roll shop! 😭

First, thank you all for your guidance in my getting to know the Ottawa food scene—I’ve been impressed, so I’m hoping I can find some direction on a “special” event of sorts…

We haven’t seen our daughter in seven months and half of that she’s been in the bush eating camp food. She’s vegetarian, and they take care of her well, but we’re looking for a place with lots of good choices so she’s overwhelmed and just can’t decide!

For real, any notable places with good variety, and hopefully, a nice vibe so we can relax and hear her tales. Alcohol not needed, but interesting non-alcoholic drinks could be a plus.

It's this Thursday to Sunday at T&T in Kanata there's not much information out there other than that but was hoping to bring the kids to see some Lion Dancers and have some snacks.

I lived around the Golan Heights for a year and absolutely feel in love with their shawarma, specifically a spot I Katsrin.

I loved the "spicy" shawarma. They made it with a red sauce. The wrap was thin but never grilled.

I just moved back from the US where they (and UK and Australia) have them in tubes so you can easily squeeze out a portion for Vietnamese coffee, etc.

Ive had great luck greenwave bar , they got started this year & i feel like they deserve more hype. I got their banana pudding matcha and my boyfriend got their strawberry and cream , they were both so yummy and the matcha flavour didnt get overpowered by the sweetness.
