I’ve been making a story about my two characters, Athena and Ravani, for 5 years now or so but still having a bit of trouble.

**I want them to be in an enemies to lovers trope but also I know that their age gap could be concerning,** especially since it’s a queer story and I hear it’s weirdly common in queer media (age gap trope).

Athena is about 45 and Ravani is about 26 (haven’t decided on the year for it to take place yet) They start out as enemies of course, but they don’t fall for each other until they’ve both grown as characters and they story has progressed in a good amount. And, they both end up helping each other grow in multiple ways to ultimately fall in love

Despite her size, looks, title and her background as a leader of an illegal poaching organization, she technically the least aggressive(unless she’s starving) out of the 4 mob bosses in my verse, while other has grand plan, vengeance goal or sadistic pleasure, she did what she did to survive and maintain the organization longevity after the previous boss died

She shall tired her best to restrain her appetite and hunger to have a conversation

this is Seraph, an Executor angel, and Sephyr, a Royal demon, and they are sworn enemies. uhh very one-sided relations between them, indeed,,, this is what an average “debate” could look like between them, with angel man taking up the entire canvas with his yapping 😅 funnily enough, both of them actually do speak something similar to Latin as their first language!

these two are very similar in their principles, obligations, abilities, and methods, but because they are of different species with different morals + beliefs, they just can’t get along whatsoever.. if the circumstances were different, they would’ve been good friends,,,

Sephyr wants to avoid Seraph at all costs, but gives him justttt enough attention to make sure he doesn’t actually do anything drastic. he is concerned that engaging with Seraph— or any other angel, really— could cause tensions between heaven and hell to become worse than they already are. in addition, because of his high standing, there are always lots of eyes on him, so he’d rather not risk it by any means

Seraph is crazy about fighting + destroying evil, and to put it plainly, obsessed with Sephyr because he knows he’ll make for the perfect opponent. he is one of the only ones to have witnessed Sephyr’s solo destructive wrath against angels many millennia ago, but since then, —unfortunately for Seraph— he’s mellowed out and swore to never lose control like that again, which Seraph just can’t seem to understand,,, no matter what he does, Sephyr doesn’t retaliate, which tends to frustrate him further
