This recently finished harem manga feels like it was written by a Kosaki fan [Spoiler Warning!] Spoiler
So warning, this spoils the ending of this harem manga. But I'm sure all of you here in this sub will be interested, because the Onodera-type character wins here!
The manga is Hima-Ten, a recently finished, 96-chapter harem romcom with A LOT of similarities with Nisekoi. The main two girls are very close to Chitoge and Kosaki; thereās also a Ruri, a Shu, and a kinda-Marika, and a kinda-Yui.
The main girl, Himari, is very similar to Chitoge. Sheās canonically the prettiest girl in their grade, she gets to sit beside the protagonist, and due to plot she gets to stay together with the protagonist the most even outside school. She also has lightish long hair (Sheās not a violent tsundere though)
The second girl, Honoka, is pretty much Kosaki. She's canonically also pretty but got overshadowed when the Chitoge equivalent came along. Like Kosaki she is a very shy, sweet and kind cinnamon roll with the humblest background in the harem. And most importantly, the MC and her have a mutual attraction with each other but theyāre too shy to confess. Like Kosaki she has shortish dark hair.
There are moments where the Chitoge and Kosaki equivalents feel traced, because the author seemed to have made even their faces close to the originals as close as possible.
So anyway, most readers expected Himari, the Chitoge equivalent to win. Sheās the main girl, and sheās literally the titular girl! Hima-Ten is the combination of the names of Himari and Tenichi (the protagonist). Even the readers rooting for Honoka 100% thought she would lose, how do you even compete with the titular girl with more screentime?
Surprise! Against all odds, Honoka won. The confession scene felt like the Onodera-Raku confrontation but Raku chose the correct girl. The "sweet and shy childhood friend girl loses" curse was broken. It felt like Nisekoi but Raku correctly chose at the end.
Warning that this manga isnāt the pinnacle of writing. Itās still a generic harem that also kinda fumbles in the end. Even though Iām happy for Honoka, I will admit that the fate of Himari is awfully written, she got an arguably worse ābaking the wedding cakeā ending. Kinda feels like the author named the manga after her out of spite. Imo Himari is more likable than Chitoge too so it's likely you'd feel bad for her too.
Anyway, thanks for reading! Iām sorry if this is against the rules somehow, but I think I discussed Kosaki enough and Iām sure Kosaki lovers will appreciate this manga.

Happy Birthday Kosaki!
Happy Birthday to Kosaki Onodera!
I'm here again this year with another art, which is her in bakery clothings since I rarely see fanarts of. So I decided to attempt drawing her with references while I'm still practicing on anatomy and shading. Hopefully, I'll find my own art style to develop and work on.
As always, I hope you guys enjoy and have a good day!

Dera Day 2026
Happy Birthday Kosaki! Nothing really going on as you can see, but I hope she and everyone else has a great day!
Sometimes I think about sharing artworks again. I donāt like making reposts even when the last time the same art got posted was 8 years ago or something, but I might just have to since thereās not as much newer hand drawn art being made. Coming up with clever titles always took too long and stressed me out as well, may just forgo that too for the sake of getting posts out. Just an idea, no promises. Just kind of just thinking out loud here.

Dera Day 2025
It's June 15th in Japan, which means it's Kosaki's birthday!
Sorry I haven't posted in a long time, to be honest I just haven't felt like it for a while. There also just isn't much new in the way of Kosaki art that isn't AI-generated. But I still think about Kosaki all the time, and I hope this day treats you well as we honor best girl however we can. Whether you have art or just want to drop in and say hi, it's always appreciated.
