Makikisuyo po ako ulit dahil naging CKD na po sa huling blood works ni Batman. Minomonitor po ng vet si Batman kaya weekly po advice nila na magbloodtest. Akala ko magiging normal pa yong results pero hindi po pala. Bumaba. at tumataas po values niya.
Sabi ng Vet sa latest results niya last week ibinibilang na niya pong may CKD si Batman and nakakapanghina po talaga. Kakagaling lang niya sa dental prophylaxis and tooth extraction. Medyo namamaga pa kunti gums niya. 😔 And yon na nga dn po binago dn ng DR itong antibiotic po niya for 7days ulit. Dinagdagan dn medications niya at itutuloy dn po niya Royal Canin Renal niya which is expensive dn po. Dko po ulit ito makakaya mag isa. Kaya nandito po ako ulit sa community na ito. 🙏 Baka lang po may extra po kayo diyan maliit man o may kalakihan. Malaking bagay na po ito kay Mr. Batman. Maraming salamat po ulit sa inyo.

Hi, everyone. I am posting here to ask for your kindness.

I still haven’t recovered financially from Xavi’s emergency tail surgery two months ago, which cost me** over ₱13,000. I was slowly trying to save up again when he suddenly started vomiting, so I rushed him to the vet. We first had a **CBC (₱1,300), and two days later, he underwent a ₱2,000 5-way viral test, where he tested positive for FPV/TOXO, FCoV, FHV, and FCV.

The vet prescribed Cefalexin, Immunobest, and Immunol. Thankfully, because of the generous people who donated directly after I posted on another app, I was able to buy all of his medications.

I am truly grateful to everyone who helped us.

Right now, Xavi is at home under strict cage confinement as advised by our veterinarian. He’s also eating Royal Canin Recovery (₱250–₱260 per can), which was recommended by someone whose cat survived a similar illness.

Once he finishes his Cefalexin on July 30, we need to return for a ₱2,000 reevaluation. Depending on the results, he may either need another round of medications or 2–3 days of recommended confinement, which was previously estimated at around ₱7,100.

I’m humbly asking for your prayers and, if you’re able, any spare amount you can give. Even the smallest donation or simply upvoting and sharing this post would mean so much to us.

Rest assured that every donation will go directly to Xavi’s care. If his reevaluation goes well and he tests negative, any remaining funds will be used for his vaccinations, supplements, and future veterinary care. Also regarding the guidelines of updating after 3 days, I am not sure if I can give you any medical information updates regarding Xavi’s condition as we are to return 7 days upon posting this however, I will post an update regarding Xavi’s condition and progress.
