wondering if anyone has played on PC with controller and been able to play with their console friends? is that how that works?

I don't have to worry about having one bad game because i won't get flamed, people act as if they don't have any bad games and it's sickening. 'Tank diff' 'Dps diff' if you have time to be typing in chat you can use that time thinking about what YOU could've done better.

Like the second anyone types that I will just throw actively then, if someone says lock in or something i'll do my best but saying diff is just toxic and makes you honestly horrible to play with.

I dont understand. I lost a flashpoint game up 2-1, 99%-30%… then…

Enemy team blows 4 ults to cap, 3 of us get picked, and THEN two of my dps have the audacity to ult? Why not just wait for recontest??

anyone else noticed this? Sometimes people have a bad game or bad stats, but braindead ult usage makes no sense to me. Do people use their brains even a little?

Wdym i gotta wait ATLEAST 10 minutes for a single game, but hey the second i q tank i get a game faster than i can blink, nice stuff

Anyone else experiencing really bad stuttering lately? It will freeze up for a good 2+ seconds sometimes causing me to die. I've never had this issue on ps5, and I have high-speed fibre op internet so it shouldn't be that.

I’m hoping someone here can really help me because this has been frying my brain.
Every time I launch Overwatch on my Xbox Series S, it starts to boot and then immediately dashboards me back to the home screen. I’ve gone through all my settings and still can’t figure it out.
The strange thing is that every other game I play works perfectly fine with no crashing or dashboarding whatsoever. Has anyone else had this issue or know of a fix?

We won round 1 and someone left, this person joined in on round 2 and tore through us for the rest of the game. It seems like they're a good player, but this doesn't feel like controller aim to me.

I've run into a few cheaters since I started playing again, but this is the first time that I'm not 100% sure they're cheating. Curious what others think so please let me know.

EDIT: To be clear. The ping doesn't bother me at all and I use it as an indicator to when not to rush off or when there's an enemy flanking. I love the ping but words work better than a random noise during play. The problem is most players I end up on teams with don't use it or ignore it. Maybe they're just bad players and nothing can be done. <shrugs>

What if instead of that annoying ping when a team mate dies, we get a voice that says:-

"Your tank Orisa is dead"

"Your support Mercy is dead"

Better yet

"The enemy damage Solider 76 is dead"

"The enemy support Moira is dead"

Maybe that will stop the players who ignore the 3 pings that just went off from going in against the 5 enemies...

This is a problem I have had on and off for a while and I thought it had been fixed but clearly it's back.

Every time I enter a transition screen, such as: now arriving at, victory, defeat, round end etc, my frames fall off a cliff and the network info in the top right spikes to 150-200 ping and 200+ IND. Everything loads incredibly slowly (multiple seconds to open text chat) and sometimes i am black screened for a few seconds and don't even see the victory poses.

I don't think it's a hardware issue on my end (my PS5 runs everything else just fine. It could be my WiFi broadband being so pathetically tiny (it took me ~12 hours to install overwatch overnight). Any ideas for how to fix?

I was coaching my friend (SilentDPS), who was Silver5 at the game. This soj aim is pretty impressive.

Soj was shredding the team. I don feel like its a controller aim. If it was a controller aim, i'm impressed.
