I am seeing posts about Jagusah “hopefully” will play at some point this year… any insights? I know there were complications with his recovery, but I thought he was ready to go for the year?

Exactly what the title says. And I’d love to hear your reasons why. Obviously 2024 was probably the best season I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing including those playoff wins. But 2012 was unreal and as a 16 year old at the time, I remember every single game and where I was. And an honorable mention for me is 2015, with it being the first ND game I ever witnessed (the Gameday game at Temple), though that Stanford loss will forever haunt my nightmares.

We are seeing more and more teams water down their OOC schedule to improve their CFP chances. For fans, this sucks…no other way to say it.

Does a 24 CFP field alleviate this where more teams are willing to take risks?

Do the networks (the true power) push behind the scenes to have better matchups for ratings?

Should the CFP Committee tell teams their games against non-P4 teams will be used against them when determining rankings?

Should non-playoff linked bowl games be played to start the season to have alluring matchups?

I’m thrilled at the chance to run the table, but as I’ve stated many times in the past, I’d rather know how we stack up against good teams sooner rather than later. When this season is said and done, there is a chance we have none to maybe 1 top 25 opponent (depending on how Miami fares this season). I’m very nervous.

My wife and I are coming in from Iowa for the Miami game and are looking to see if anyone has room for a couple of extra fans at their tailgate.

I’ve seen where some people sell tailgate access or welcome guests at times, so I figure it cant hurt to ask. We’re more than happy to pay our way, bring beer, food, or whatever else would be helpful.

We haven’t been to a game in a few years and since we’re traveling in and don’t have a big group, we won’t have a tailgate setup of our own, but we’d love to have somewhere to hang out before the game and enjoy the atmosphere with fellow Irish fans.
