Hi everyone,

I'm completely new to Chaos Space Marines and just bought the Night Lords Combat Patrol. I'm currently building it and I'm really excited to get it on the table this weekend.

I've spent the last couple of days reading a lot of the recent posts here about the new Raptors, the Murderwing and Night Claw box, and the recent changes, so I'm sorry if these questions have already been answered somewhere. I think I understand most of what's happening, but I'm still confused about two things.

1. Combat Patrol rules

I was planning to play Combat Patrol this weekend, but it looks like the Night Lords Combat Patrol has disappeared from the official app. Is there still an official way to play this Combat Patrol? Are the datasheets and detachment available somewhere else, or is it no longer supported?

1. Building the models

I'm also unsure how I should build the models. The instruction manual shows one way to assemble the unit for the Combat Patrol, but with the Murderwing and Night Claw boxes release and all the discussion about new Raptors, I'm wondering if I should still follow the instructions or build them differently. I ordered an aditional Night Claw Box and two murderwing boxes

Since I'm new, I don't want to glue everything together only to realize I should have built them another way.

I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

I am planing to pick up a box of claws for my 40k army, what war gear do you recommend taking?

Its 410 points now.

The individual parts of it still look neat, but together I don't think its a sustainable choice anymore.

I intend to run A nightmare hunt+cabal list, and masters are our strongest psyker unit, so they are definitely going to stay in my list, question is, what do I attach them too now ?

Been a bit since I worked on painting and my gf was scolding me about it since I keep saying I need to do it and she bought me a tyberos so I figured i work on painting some before he arrives

Been wanting to try my hand at Nightlords for a while now after painting one for my legionaries kill team a few months ago. Also been wanting to try true scale marines. Didnt realize the sigmar chosen have 40mm bases but since these are being made for aesthetics first game practicality later I figured I’d try to Kitbash some of the bigger CSM units. So far I have

Does anyone either have any experience doing this kind of conversion? Or any other suggestion of units I can make from these? Any advice is welcomed. Really excited to get into Nightlords.

I just kit bashed a little Dark Angel with the voice eater I love how it looks, I got the idea from that chaos knights trailer lol but I’m almost done painting this big boy. Hail the Lord of the Night!

Hail Brothers - Working on some Red Corsair / First Claw kitbashes - Have had their midnight clad painted for the longest time, becoming increasingly undecided on how to colour their trim. Have opted for a slight difference in them all to further reflect their personalities, and here is Cyrion so far. Nearly made it through the omnibus and each chapter is only making me fall further and further down their delightfully twisted and arguably tragic rabbithole of an existence. No spoilers as I haven't finished quite yet!

Wondering if anyone can see the vision? Wanted to keep Cyrion somewhat clean, and curious to what you all have done yourselves/what you think to my progress?

Criticism welcome! I hope to post the rest of the claw in due time, although living in a van and painting on the road can be a little sporadic ha.

Hi all, I want to run a Creations of Bile list with a big blob of Possessed with a Master of Possession. However I’ve fallen into the trap of making my Night Lords army with little to no chaos corruption and I’m not a fan of the possessed models.

Could I get away with running Black Templars sword brethren as Possessed (scraping off all the iconography and making them more like brother of the VIII). I was thinking kind of like an old Nostraman knightly order.

Also, what less chaosy proxy could I use for a MoP. I was thinking about making it like an apothecary to lean into the Creations of Bile theme. Plus I love an apothecary.

Tried to really underline the Warp corruption that has consumed my Talons. No longer talking (or bickering) with their brothers, just appearing from the shadows when the scent of bloodshed reaches its peak.

Their former aspiring champion was the first of their squad to be corrupted and it spread from him. As such not only are his changes the most obvious, but he is the only one left with any kind of name: the First Forgotten.

Inspired by Pete The Wargamer conversion of same model

I was wondering what people’s experience with playing Haarken attached to 10 raptors in 11th ed. I understand it may not be the most competitive pick but is he fun/viable? I am not running any nightmare detachments so I’m not concerned about battle shock.

Would love to be able to do some damage with my new raptors and feel like they did something beyond point scoring. (Previously using 5 man raptor as point scoring/action monkeys)

Starting my Corsair raiders as night lords. Wanted to keep their colors darker than the rest of the army and go with either red accents or stick with dark/brown. C&c welcome

originally started as a Gendor Skraivok kitbash . but i needed a jump lord so got a jump pack from ebay . he also has vampiric powers , he can take the souls of his victims or something like that idk .
