The final photoshoot !!!!! What a ride what a great cycle!!! I think you contestant commentary this time around so I’m going to leave my comments about their overall performances for that!! but the final photo shoot was definitely interesting. I wish Stephanie had gone like a bigger animal but overall, I think the photo shoot was pretty good

1st Catherine originally runner up.* - I mean this photo is pretty great. I love the way the snake is wrapped around her. I think with like the whole Britney Spears thing at the time it definitely could’ve led more sexy, but I think it’s just commanding. The snake is almost like a boa that like just enhances her photo perfectly without taking over her face I think the low quality makes it a little weird, but I think the expression is somehow strong enough to power through thegrained of the photo. And lastly, I love this like a more confident side to Catherine than we’ve seen like a totally new look the perfect way to end her portfolio here.!!!

2nd Stefanie orignally 3rd - Stephanie it looks banging in the shot I think having the smallest animal such a hindrance because these photos had to show the whole body but I think she made this pose work I would change the arms making them more intentional but overall I love her face it’s very strong. And the way her legs are and the way her body curves, all kind of all the makings.Of a great photo. I think it kind of showed like her best and really kinda highlighted what her real look would be as a working model

3rd Alex orignally 1st - I think once again Alex’s body positioning is pretty great she kinda has this like sultry vibe which I think unfortunately highlights her biggest problem as of currently is that she’s tending to read older. I’m pretty sure she’s like 18 or 19 and she looks 42 like she’s modeling perfectly but she’s just reading as older and I don’t think that’s necessarily a good thing in this case I still really like her body, but I just think she has looked better in the competition.

Overall, I think when I first watched the cycle I was very happy with Alex’s win and even looking back on a rewatch it’s definitely not undeserved but re-watching it. I was just such a bigger fan of Rachel Catherine and Stephanie More I can’t wait to talk about more of it than the contestant commentary!!!

Top 4 !!!! And what a great top 4 ! The photoshoot itself I hate the “African warriors” in this cause there such a prop I think the photoshoot would’ve been fine without them especially Stefanie concept 💀💀💀💀” overall I was SHOCKED Rachel went home seemed like such a winner but this photo is terrible she had the worse concept and did nothing with it too I actually think the top 3 took great photos this week and hers is just the only clunker

1st Catherine originally 2nd - this photo is major !!!! Catherine majorly recovered from her lackluster showing last week and I think this photo is so cool and powerful her expression is crazy good I love the power in her eyes but it’s so commanding and matched with a neutral face looks great !! Her pose while simple works and the photo looks really cool (again I don’t like the soldiers behind her casue it aids this weird tycoon owner vibe) but. If she was just standing in the hallway it would be prefect for me but regardless Catherine is like at 10 for me

2nd Alex originally 1st - another amazing photo !she looks great I remember on her photoshoot complaining about being on the swing cause she felt like she could do less and I just disagree her body is like prefect I love the legs and the arm reaching up she looks so long 😍 the whole thing is great even her hair for the first time looks like young and chic which has been a problem for her for a while now. And the body is prefect originally she was my first but what puts her down ever so slightly is the face I think of you separate her eyes and her lips there great on there own but putting them together she looks like she snearing and I would’ve preferred a more sultry vibe since she has this lounge singer body position but still a very good photo like a 9.9 for me I’m just nit picking at this point

3rd Stefanie originally 3rd. - tbis concept 🤢🤢 aka dancing for the soilders in a couture photoshoot bad !!! Very bad lmao

But judging what’s before me it’s a great photo of her it’s very like sexy I think this up the nose shot kinda works for her , her face looks great and her body looks great I love how long her legs are I love the way the arms zig zag and her legs I wish they where. Bit stronger but I think it’s a great photo and exactly what they asked for so she definitely was a strong contender this week !!! Honestly maybe controversial if I scored this it would be at like. 9 clearly not better then Catherine and Alex but gosh darn good

4th Rachel orignally 4th - haha I meannnn positives first her dress is the most couture haha but she was given the worst setup and failed terribly it’s so boring her fave looks nice but this pose is so terrible and idk it was such a set up too casue I don’t think this setup was ever gonna work no matter who did it lol but yea we lost one of powerhouses

I guess at this point even though I lover her Stefanie was kinda the odd one out they loved Rachel and Stefanie just wasn’t high fashion but I love Stefanie and I’m glad she made it !!!

Now this is a good photo shoot I really like the cover try episodes, cause I think it kind of shows how they would be portrayed in media and like what their designated kind look is, and if they can appeal to commercial as well, I already ranked the high fashion shots and while I think that photo shoot was pretty much unsuccessful I think this one pretty much is successful

1st Rachel originally 1st -easily the best of the week it’s such a good cover shot. It’s probably one of my favorite photos of her this entire season too. She just looks so natural. Her high fashion face works in this commercial setting and her pose is good too it’s chic if anything and natural. I think Rachel was always destined to make top four in this for me is what solidified it even more.

2nd Stefanie orignally 2nd - Stephanie did amazing during this photo shoot. I don’t know why they end up picking this not great photo but I still think she looks great. She looks natural. She belongs in the setting. I honestly think everything could be fixed but only slightly I think her face could be more activated and I think her body position could be a little less rigid but overall it’s a pretty good showing for her and one of her prettiest photos she performed at a solid B+ level this week and that earns her second place.!

I will say on a slight tangent. I think this was the kiss of death for Stephanie because I think she just doesn’t really look like a model here. She looks like a celebrity doing a cover not a model doing a cover a beautiful celebrity, but a celebrity, but I still love her and was glad she was praise

3rd Alex orignally bottom 2 - I think Alex’s is fine I think she looks like a model on a magazine cover but like her first cover she’s very crunched which I don’t really like in the wide and her mischievous. Smirk is good and she achieves it well but I don’t think it really is giving like magazine cover overall she looks pretty and it’s a nice commercial photo for her but I also think she got screw over slightly by styling cause it’s so weird that she doesn’t have any jewelry around her neck. I think it throw the whole thing off for me just a tiny bit.

4th Catherine originally bttm2 -I really like Catherine I think she’s a very strong and successful high fashion model. I think she just completely bombed this week while she looks beautiful the whole photo of lacks intention. It doesn’t really look like a cover. This weirdly reminds me of Melrose makeover shot but my biggest problem with the cover I was too timid. I think the arms being so inwards answer expression is kind of dazed, not confident like the other three did I think it stands out from the other three the worst ways and overall was a bad show the captain I was very happy. She made it though another week.!!

Oh boy top 4!!!! Or part one at least ! Haha I really like this week they did high fashion beauty shot and a mock magazine cover try I really enjoyed the 2 sides of modeling high fashion and commercial I’m splitting it into 2 cause I think it’s easier too and I think next week is vastly more successful than this week 😅 but I will talk about my overall ranking next week

1st Alex orignally bottom 2 - I think this photo is so weird like I wish I was more zoomed in but when I go to crop it, I think it’s worse like she looks more tense and awkward but zoomed out I think it’s the most successful high fashion photo. She looks interesting. And I think it’s a hard facial expression to pull off. Intentionally just don’t zoom in because you’ll realize her neck looks short and fat and the more you zoom in the more awkward expression looks but overall I think she was the most successful this week at achieving a high fashion shot.

2nd Stefanie originally 2nd - I think it’s an interesting photo for her. I think it’s nice to see her successfully achieve high fashion but at the same time her look is just so commercial. I don’t really think it reached the high fashion photo like when a celebrity does something more editorial, but I think she’s actually modeling pretty well. It’s a good photo for her but not of a high fashion model which I think highlights her biggest flaw in the competition. I’m honestly surprised she wasn’t in the bottom too, but I’m happy because the judges were constantly mean to her.😅

3rd Rachel orignally 1st - first of all this is not a beauty shot🙄 but I just do not like her expression here and I think the styling did her no service I think watching the shoot I knew I wouldn’t like the photo but somehow she style but she almost looks older and that’s not really a problem she’s ever had until last week but I don’t know. She just looks like she’s grimacing. Which is unfortunate because I think she was the most high fashion model of the bunch and I think she failed even though the judges loved it.

4th Catherine originally bttm2 - I think Catherine kind of bombed this week focusing on her high fashion photo I don’t really think it’s high fashion it looks like the wind is blowing too much in her eyes and she’s trying her best to like squint them but keep them open and her mouth is just awkward overall I think the whole photo is tense and not in a good way which once again there’s a shame because she is one of the more high fashion models of the group. I would argue everyone’s high fashion expect Stefanie at this point

The top five!!!!!! - honestly I think the top five is underrated by how strong it was. I feel like you had Charlotte and Rachel, who like these very commercial girls who could deliver an edge you had Catherine and Alex were definitely more high fashion and then you had Stephanie who was like the sexy one overall a very strong top flag. I wish this photoshoot showed some of them in a better light aka Steph and charlotte weren’t given nude lips lol but into the ranking

1st Catherine originally 2nd - so when I think of this cycle this is one of the photos I remember !!! I think her face looks amazing high fashiony and activated the pose is cool and this concept was very hard and I think she nailed it honestly overall this photo isn’t my favorite of Catherine mainly cause she has so many good ones but it’s absolutely one I remember !!!!

2nd Alex orignally 1st - I think technically Alex is betters then Catherine but I forget about this photo 😅her face looks great but she has no neck but she nailed the volting concept i do like how straight her body is and its a very cool and a strong photo for her

3rd Stephanie orignally 4th - those dam nude lips lol I hate it mutes her features but I think the pose is still athletic I wish she stick her back leg out more and made a it more bold the pose but overall I thin she did fine also the judges where so mean to her at judging I don’t see why they where saying she looks 40 pounds heavier

4th Rachel originally 3rd - I really thought Rachel would’ve won this cycle honestly but looking back on it I think at the end she just started slipping I think this photo. Isn’t really athletic at all every aspect lacks tension and it weakens the whole photo the hands arms and legs all need more tension to really get the point acrosss that she’s leaping

5th charlotte originally 5th - I would’ve brought Charlotte to the next week. I think she was a very interesting look. The most girl next store of the remaining and she did very well In the completion but this photo unfortunately is very weak. I think she looks very like a drunk cousin at the wedding. Same with Rachel and lack tension so it doesn’t really read as athletic I liked charlotte photo wise and it’s sad to see her go

I was watching the episode this morning and I just find it so funny cause in this episode they were pushing this photo shoot as it like Eco high fashion industrial space photo shoot and it’s just so camped to me. They were portraying different concepts of high fashion mannequins, and while on paper, the idea seems so good the execution of it’s just bizarre. !

1st Stefanie originally 1st - I think for what this photo she was this photo is perfect for it. I think it is this weird mannequin thing that looks crazy in these crazy clothes I think Stephanie man should do a crazed face without losing how beautiful she is and I wouldn’t change a single thing about the pose. I think the arms are weird and crazy, but in the best ways and overall, I think she hit the nail on the head for the concept. So good job to her.

2nd Catherine originally 2nd - I think Catherine created a really cool and stunning photo the top half essentially her face and arms look amazing I love the way the whip is in the air and I think it’s a new and really cool and powerful face for Catherine. The only reason why she’s not first is the legs. I feel like she could’ve done better with them which funny enough is the same thing the judges said. I wish her legs were more out and powerful rather than like slightly bent and leaning to the site, but overall it’s a great photo for her.

3rd Alex orignally 4th -I think Alex a shot is pretty cool. They did the cool trick where she’s standing on something but wearing a long skirt so she looks even taller. I love the way her body is bent to the arms are odd and bizarre but in good ways, my only thing is, I don’t love her face and the way her head is tilted. I think there is a better way to achieve the same effect and it throws the whole thing off for me.

4th Charlotte orignally 5th -this might be a little bit bizarre but I really like Charlotte’s face in this photo. I think she looks different like it doesn’t even look like her which I think is a really cool effect of the photo. The judge is really harped on her face not being that great but I think it’s fine for what it is. I can’t picture a better emotion I will say the limbs are all awkward, but I think they’re all good too. I think she had one of the worst concepts and I don’t think the judge is really cared because I kind of just threw her in a dumpster.🤣

5th Rachel orignally 3rd - I feel slightly bad putting Rachel solo but judging the photo as a hole, I don’t think it stands out in anyway it’s probably the least high fashion of all of them and even though she was portraying rocker doll I don’t think it really comes across in the photo it just kinda looks like a cool jacket. I think Rachel was always going to struggle to do this prompt because she is the opposite of like rocker chick, I think she could’ve done Alex‘s concept really well princess doll but overall it just was not Rachel‘s week to shine and I think this was the first crack at her veneer too.

6th Aaron originally 6th - I don’t know if I’m gonna do a segment where I talk about each contestant but oh my God were they pushing her this last episode she won one mini challenge and came in third in the real challenge and the judges gave her evil doll, which I think is one of the easiest concepts and even the head judge whoever her name is was like she had the easiest concept. It was just hard to get her to commit I think for whatever reason they were really pushing for her to win, which I just don’t get because I think the top five we have is extremely strong and if Leanne had stayed the top six, we would’ve had would’ve been really strong.

But her photos bad for the evil concept she really doesn’t look that evil or wicked. She kinda just looks like a stagehand, getting ready to hand off the props and slightly annoyed that you saw them. She looks tall and it’s probably the prettiest photo she’s taken but compared to the other five there was just no comparison at this point and they really should’ve eliminated her early on her portfolio is probably one of the weakness.

Moving right along to I think one of the most famous photos of the cycle!!! I think the photo shoot concept cool I think the emotion part kind of screwed some of them over. It really works for Catherine and Alex and doesn’t work for everyone else. Well let’s get into it.

1st Catherine originally 1st emotion pleading - I really love this photo of Catherine. Her emotion was pleading and I think she really nailed the concept while also looking like an interesting model shot this styling also just works for her. I love how modern but also historic it looks her hands are at a risky angle, but she makes them work and not look weird and her face is just amazing overall a great performance for her. (sidenote I can’t believe Rachel said this week that Catherine didn’t look like a model.😂)

2nd Alex orignally 2nd emotion sadness - another photo that I just think works. I think she looks amazing while also looking sad she kinda looks like she was just crying and the camera just caught her. I think she did a great job with this concept.

3rd Stefanie originally 3rd emotion anger- I think this shot is good of her. Her body is banging. And her face while angry still looks good. I think this is a photo that borderlines the cheesiness and unsuccessful range but I still do think she did well enough to be called third I’m really starting to like Stephanie too, so I was happy that she did well. !!

4th Leanne orignally 8th emotion evil - leanne really went hard on this photo shoot giving a lot of like screaming and intense emotion. I do think while she looks pretty I think the end result is lacking a little bit. She doesn’t necessarily look evil. I like the really tense hands. I think they help add to the evilness of the photo, but I think the face is like almost there. like I think if she either like twisted her neck more to be a little bit more creepy or throw her browse more it would’ve nailed the concept and this would’ve been an amazing photo, but I think it falls short in the face but overall still better than those beneath her.

5th charlotte orignally 4th emotion desire - I don’t know how to describe it exactly but I think her and AARON were given some of the easier concepts and for me this just feels really cheesy like this is giving the most clown for me and I don’t know if it’s from her expression or her makeup is just the worst, but I don’t like the pose either. The one arm on the door is awkward. And I really do despise that one arm on her stomach as well overall not a good week for her. I honestly think she did worse this week than last week but yeah.

6th Rachel originally 6th emotion happiness - I think her photo is fine. She definitely embodied the emotion. but I don’t think there’s any modeling aspect to this. You have a direct comparison to Charlotte above her who I think is trying to model and a successful to some degree where hers just feels very like actor at the Ren fair thankfully, though Rachel is very stunning so the photo still works. It’s just she’s clearly not doing her best here.

7th Aaron originally 5th emotion like a snobby religious women - I think this photo is so boring. She almost looks dead like when the dead and ancient times had to be posed for a photograph. It’s honestly so bad and I think they were giving her such an easy concept in this regal styles. they basically told her to be snobby and I think she just kind of gave nothing. She didn’t understand the concept even when I was explained to her she didn’t get it. I definitely would’ve let AARON go at this point, but she’s not with us for much longer so it doesn’t really matter, though I would’ve rather kept Leanne.

8th Martha originally 8th emotion terrified - finally she’s gone!!!! on the day of the set she said she completely forgot to model and was just focusing on the brief and I can agree I think she completely forgot to model. She looks crazy. I can’t even say terrified because I think the makeup removes a lot of the emotion she can make with her face and she just looks like she’s letting out a banshee call overall a terrible photo for a contestant. I never thought really reached her true potential.

What a wild way to do a headshot I like that is a form of a headshot. It’s just so crazy. I wish that they all been given this like close-up beauty shot thing because for some reason, Catherine Rachel and Charlotte were not but overall I like the idea of the photo shoot.

1st Leanne orignally 1st -there’s only so many ways I can say the shot is great. Her face looks amazing the neutral expression, but the activated eyes really worked for her and she looks amazing and she definitely was the best this week.

2nd Alex orignally 2nd - Alex looks great here too. I love this photo for her. I do think she looks a little bit older, but I think that’s mainly the hair. her face looks straight. It’s a nice photo of her. That’s a different face for her. I will say my only nitpick with Alex as I feel like she always has like weird tension in her mouth.

3rd Catherine originally 5th -I think Catherine looks great here I do wish her mouth was closed and she was just smiling, but I think everything else works the eye contact the pose. I don’t love that. She looks a little naked on the waist down, but that’s just a nitpick of mine, but overall a good photo

4th Stefanie orignally 3rd - once again Stephanie delivers a very usable shot. I think the smirk is a little bit weird but her eye contact and skin look amazing. I think it’s a very beautiful photo. I like that. It’s over the shoulder, but the attention is still on her face I also think she really looks like next season’s winner Mecia here which is not a critique I’ve given her before

5th Rachel originally 6th - Rachel is stunning. I think she has the most look of the cast and with all that being said she was obviously gonna fail this photo shoot this is just not her vibe but I think the body looks good. It’s just her face looks incredibly stiff and she has no neck.

6th charlotte originally 8th. -I think our Photos is fine. Is it amazing now but it just kinda looks like a standard swimwear shot. I think her face is fine and the arms are OK but I also know why she wasn’t given a beauty shot. No one had this pose so I don’t think it really works.

7th Martha orignally 7th - it’s interesting. I don’t think she technically looks good here but I think it’s a nice photo for her. She’s another one where this concept was never really gonna work for her, but she did kind of deliver something that was OK. I’m not really a fan of her, but I can admit that she did not bomb this as badly as I thought she was going to.

8th Aaron originally 4th - AARON is pretty but she cannot take a pretty photo. I think it’s one of her best, but I don’t think it’s successful in this context. Her open smile is just too awkward and she didn’t cheat her face enough to camera to make it look more natural she kinda looks like someone she doesn’t know called her name and she doesn’t know how to react. Overall even though I dislike Lisa more, I would’ve sent AARON home at this point because this is a photo shoot. She should’ve been able to do unlike Lisa who was never gonna be successful.

9th Lisa originally 9th -as much as I don’t like her look, I don’t think she’s ever gonna be successful in this context so I think it’s cruel to force her to do this. She’s just not a music video person and that’s fine compared to like Stephanie who is a music video person it kinda highlights the biggest flaw of a show like this, especially one that is interpreting modeling an art. These two models are rarely gonna go in for the same jobs so putting them in a competition where they’re expected to do the same one is going to fail and one is not I didn’t like Lisa, but the judges did for whatever reason so good for her.

The model Commandments 🤣 this shoot is so silly, but I love it I think a majority of the photos are successful this week because they had huggy one of the judges photograph them compared to their really terrible creative Director, who I didn’t realize blamed all of them for the bad photos last week, but I think this photo was really camp and I think it works

1st Rachel originally 5th -
Rachels top model commandment was like thou must detox
I think Rachel‘s overall photo works the best out of all of them. She looks great. I love her pose in the chair. She looks confident, but also like weirdly artificial if that makes sense. I like the choice of the direct look to camera with the smirk. I think it kind of adds to this like this is what you have to do to be successful vibe and it’s almost like enticing you to look at her more than what’s around her like ignore the process just look at the results.

2nd Leanne orignally 7th

Leanne top model commandment was “ thou shall honor thy lipstick and mascara

I think she has the best like fashion shot. I think she looks amazing. Leanne has one of the best looks this season, even watching her in the challenges you just notice her and she’s stunning. The only reason she’s not top photo is because I don’t really get the whole top model Commandment from this photo which hers was one of the silly ones. Why not just make it honor our cosmetics but also like I feel like that contradicts like Rachel’s. But I’m not here to discuss the Commandments themselves. I just think Leanne is a pretty fashion shot. It doesn’t really go into the camp of the concept, but it is very good and she is one of the best here.

3rd Charlotte originally 3rd Charlotte’s Commandment was thou shall date a rockstar

I find hers the funniest cause it’s so random but I think she looks hot. It’s really cool that she was able to like do this prim and proper photo last week. And kind of have some more edge this week. I mean she is just kind of sitting there on this rockstar‘s lap, but she looks hot and like a model here so overall I think she did a good job. Her concept is just so stupid.🤣

4th Stephanie originally 1st stephanie’s Commandment is like thou shall only worship fashion, gods or something

I really like Stephanie. And I like her photo too. I don’t think it was the best, but I think she kind of nailed this like follower of a fashion. God caught in the camera. I think her face always looks amazing. She has one of the best faces in the competition and overall the photo the kneeling looks good and it’s interesting.!!

5th Catherine originally 6th Catherine’s Commandment was thou shall not kill for fashion

I think Catherine’s photo would’ve been so much better if she could’ve stood I think it’s a little bit awkward with her sitting down and like leaning back I think if she could’ve stood an interactive with the stuffed animals, it would’ve been a lot more interesting but her face is is great. I love the like tense. Look she has and her boobs look amazing so good for Catherine. She was definitely one that was hindered by the set up.

6th martha originally 2nd Martha’s Commandment was thou shall get beauty sleep

I don’t know I don’t love the praise. Martha always gets. I think she looks rather gaunt and old in this photo. I think the face is fine but for like a model Commandment, it’s a little too in the middle for my liking and she’s very pretty. I thought last week she looked absolutely stunning but this week she kind of just looks great out and like old it kinda reminds me of cycle nine smoking photo shoot I feel like there should be a cigarette in her hands, but the judges love her. I just don’t.😐

I think there’s a better way to do this photo shoot. I think one the Commandments actually like one that makes a lot of sense but the set up is terrible. I get being on the toilet like a vulnerable moment, but they could’ve given her a better outfit or something else not this blue rope thing she’s doing the best she can. It just doesn’t really look that good.

8th Alex orignally 8th alex’s Commandment was thou shall not steal from catwalk shows

This one’s so weird to me because the commandment is so specific like it’s happened before and cycle and her setup was terrible being just as like a cat burglar is crazy🤣 but I think for a shot where she’s dressed in all black walking up a dark staircase and carrying a big sack of mystery items. I think it’s fine. I don’t think it’s good absolutely not but I don’t think it’s like terrible or anything.

9th lynzi orignally 10th her commandment was thou shall always wear heels

Her photo unfortunately also has a terrible set up. Why is she in a bathtub? Why is it shot at that angle? Why did huggy want her to smile so much such bad direction and the worst part is the judge is complimented of this photo🤣 I can’t really blame her cause none of this problems I have with the photo are really her fault. I wouldn’t have directed her to smile or sit in the bathtub but also her hands are terrible gripping the shoes. I don’t know why she’s giving these like studded boots, but unfortunately, she was definitely one of the weaker models so if this mediocre performance, I definitely think her time was up.

10th Lisa orignally 9th -Lisa’s Commandment was thou shall be a sl ve to fashion

Honestly, get rid of the S word and I think it’s a fine I don’t know why they just didn’t say servant, but I think her set was actually good like the steam clean the gown in the iron shackle that’s interesting and creative for this photoshoot and again they were directed by huggy so I can’t blame her too much, but I don’t think she committed nearly as much as she needed to to accomplish this photo i’ve never liked Lisa times quickly ran out, but I was just cut her chances here

The 4th photoshoot!!! This is when the competition I think starts getting a little bit more competitive. I really like the idea of this photo shoot and ended up being very simple just them getting in and out of cars and I love how bad the styling looks. it’s very of the time.🤣🤣🤣 I also didn’t really talk about the makeovers, but I’ll mention a little bit about them here.

1st Alex originally 5th. -I think Alex’s looks the most correct I think she looks like a wealthy social getting out of a car and like glaring at the paparazzi who’s ever taking her photo she has a great face, even though she was given this terrible haircut but the short hair I think actually saved her and I think overall the photo kind of works another strong showing for me of Alex

2nd Catherine orignally 4th - I think Catherine did the fashion portion of this challenge. It’s very like quirky high fashion pose. I love the way her legs are bent. And her face is really interesting. I think the whole vibe of the photos is like a ditzy heiress getting out of the car and I think it really works for this photo. And her hair is one of the few that looks OK. My only real negative is that she lost her one arm.

3rd Martha orignally 3rd - Martha actually looks pretty decent. I really like her expression. I like the curve of her body and how she comes out of the car. I will say she lost her entire other leg and I don’t think her feet are positioned to be in their best place

4th charlotte originally 1st - I do like Charlotte’s photo. I think she photographed very nice. I’m not a big fan of the duck lips and her hair kinda makes the whole thing dragged down a little bit. It makes the whole thing feel a little bit more messy. I think she had one of the best composed shots and I think it really helps her. I wasn’t mad at her getting a first call because I think it’s the idea of the photo shoot. It’s best. I just think others had a lot more interesting photos.

5th Leanne originally 7th - I don’t think this photo is bad. I think she looks really nice and pretty here again. Her hair is kind of messy which drags down the photo in my mind is which is supposed to be like these rich heiress getting out of a car. I think she’s modeled very like prim and proper which I think works, but I don’t think she nailed it with the expression or the body positioning, but it’s not bad.

Also, her haircut looked great on her!!!!

6th Rachel originally 6th -I think it’s a fine photo. She looks like a ghost, though her extreme wellness does not help her here extremely pale and extremely stiff like a beautiful creepy wax figurine and she got a gorgeous dress but overall, I think the photos is lacking some of the successful elements that the other ones had she looks fine but it’s just too stiff to really be any higher.
I also love the bangs on her that they gave her

7th Aaron originally 2nd - I think Aaron looks beautiful Her face looks great. I just think she looks stiff and the pose is extremely bizarre. This like half squat. I don’t really think it does hurt any favors. I find the really stretched out hands a little bit offputting too cause they look unnatural. Aaron just needs to wake up quickly.

8th Stefanie originally 8th - from here on down all the photos are pretty bad Stephanie kinda looks drunk the most drunk if you will 😅 it’s just the way she’s stepping out of the car. Her hair is messy. The like unfocused look she’s giving a camera and that one hand on the car all kind of reads as a little bit day drunk and it’s not successful unfortunately which is a shame because I really like Stephanie so far.

9th lynzi orignally 9th - for the bottom four I completely agree with the judges call out. I think they nailed it for once.lynzi is bad the face is bad but their neck is bad. The crisscross legs is bad and the weird arms is bad. I think if she had just relaxed a little bit this might’ve been slightly more successful but everything is two tense and rigid.

10th Lisa orignally 10th - I do not like Lisa’s photo. I have not been a fan of her. I don’t like either of the high fashion girls. They picked the cycle of Martha and Lisa, but Lisa has been over praise consistently. I think this photo is kind of the same thing she’s been doing, which is nothing it’s very dear in the headlights very unsure, I dislike her feet greatly as they’re parallel, and this mid squat pose is terrible too

11th Lauren originally 11th -I do not know who Lauren pissed off because for me she was doing amazing cycle. Her first three photos were all in the top three or four for me and she consistently performed well in my eyes but this photo is terrible. She looks so grumpy and upset. she looks so annoyed to be stepping out of the car which in her defense I feel like this photo shoot would be pretty annoying cause they were just stepping in and out of the car, but this photo is just not good and I believe that she probably had better ones, but for whatever reason this terrible one was chosen.

The third photo shoot and what a crazy one I kinda like the concept, but in no way shape or form is this couture I think originally I thought it was like for some Tacky calendar type thing which I think it really works for this is a photo shoot where I wish like production and camera quality were just up just a little bit cause I feel like the photos could’ve been really interesting

1st Catherine originally 8th - easily the best without a doubt she got the best set up and she delivered the best performance. Her face looks amazing. The expression is good and the way her face is sculpted by the crown piece is amazing. I do wish her legs were a tiny bit better but I think the top half really carries the photo and I do wish she had interacted with the dog better. But overall easily the best second week in a row for Catherine.

2nd Lauren originally 11th - I thought this photo was pretty good. I think her face is a little weird, but I can’t tell if that’s the photography or actually just her but I think the pose is actually very campy couture now. But I love her holding the planet, and I love her petting the dog even though I wish we could see her hands and I think the dog looks adorable next to her overall, I thought the photo was very successful.

3rd Rachel originally 1st - I definitely see the vision I think for me it definitely kind of works as like an interesting photo, her intense expression plus her decent pose I think is actually pretty good. She created an interesting photo which is a different look from her very like sophisticated self so I think she did a very good job and understand why she got called first I just thought the other two were better

4th Stefanie originally 10th it’s funny cause I don’t think I’m like biased towards Stephanie, but I just think she typically photographs nice I really like the pose. It’s a little. A little top-heavy in the sense that she’s really taking up room on the top half but kind of crunched on the bottom but I do like the shape with the outfit. I think it works for me and I like her face a lot once again it’s definitely her best feature again, though I wish she had interacted with the dog better.

5th Lisa originally 3rd -honestly I think I just don’t like Lisa’s look I think once again the photography makes her look better, which is a real benefit when the camera likes you I don’t really love her my little teacup pose, but her face looks OK actually and it looks more like a fashion shot and not like a campy shot

6th Charlotte originally 6th - I hate her outfit. I really hate slutty church vibes. I think she is the second most hindered by the styling, but I think her face is nice. Her posse is OK and the dog near her is adorable.

7th lynzi orignally 9th - she is slowly but surely improving easily her best pose and her best photo that being said I don’t really like it as a hole and I’m super jealous that she got an adorable pug and didn’t utilize it well but overall she is slowly moving up

8th Martha originally 2nd - that pug is adorable. I love the way it’s on the table. Its face is lit up with Joy and it’s absolutely stealing the shot and modeling head to toe.

9th Leanne originally 5th - I don’t really like this I think looking at it from styling wise she’s really hindered that she has to hold a dead animal. I don’t think that was important for the photo shoot at all and those pink boots are terrible. They make her look very short, which is not helped with the pose and I think her face is a little bit forced. She also looks a little bit older based on the styling they gave her like middle-aged woman hunting for turkeys. I don’t think styling was working for Leanne and I don’t think her modeling was enough to save her either.

10th Alex orignally 4th - I really like Alex. I’m very happy with her outcome in this season, but God this photo is not it for me. I hate how stressed she looks. I hate the pose. The top of her body is too far away from Camera so it looks weird. She has an adorable pug that she’s holding incorrectly. Overall, not a good photo and definitely not my favorite. I was surprised she was called so high.

11th Louise originally 12th -I think her photos is fine. I think she didn’t really embrace any sort of concept and she looks OK. I think she has looked a lot better and that one arm and bizarre hand really kind of ruins the photo for me cause all I can think of, but if I were to divert my attention to her face, I don’t think it’s as nice as it’s been the past and this photo just kind of stands out as boring. I don’t think it’s necessarily your time to go cause she was definitely stronger than a lot of of the others, but this was definitely a clunker for her.

12th Aaron orignally 7th - 7th?!?$?$ for this I am aware that she was afraid of the dog and that’s why this photo is so tense and awkward but my God is she look terrible here. She looks so petrified. She got a really interesting outfit probably one of the better outfits of the whole shoot and that cannot even save her. Her expression is just so terrifying. Her arm is so stiff and she is trying to distance herself so much away from that dog, I don’t know why this wasn’t bottom three or bottom two at least because she did not work through her fear to get successful shot.

2nd week!!! oh boy, fun fact, I rewatch the part of this episode. To Understand this photo shoot more and I still don’t really get it. Obviously it’s an improv challenge, but not a good one. So I’m just ranking the photos based on how much I like them.😅

1st Catherine orignally 9th - there are a few of these shots where everything I think comes together and Catherine’s is the best while the photo quality isn’t great. You can tell that this photo is really thought of her modeling in the middle with like the dark hallway and the cool smoke that’s creeping up. I think really makes her an interesting photo. Even though she loses an arm, I think her expression is very strong and stern.!

2nd Stephanie orignally 2nd - I like Stephanie‘s photo. It’s very album cover. I think it’s pretty cool. It definitely reminds me of the cycle 10 music genre photo shoot I like her broken down pose. I think her face looks good and overall I think the photo itself looks very like planned !!!

3rd Lauren originally 4th - I really like Lauren I think she looks great. She kinda looks like some party princess who’s sitting down with a bunch of men at the after party her face is always very stunning and very beautiful and overall again it seems like a photo with a lot more intention, like the whole set up was planned out. I kind of wish more of the girls got this set up.

4th Rachel originally 3rd - eh it’s fine I think they are better ways to do this concept, but that jacket is crazy. Her face is good though a little lacking energy but as always, she looks very pretty and I think her body stands out even though she’s wearing all black and a dark environment.

5th Lisa orignally 1st - I do not really like this photo. I’ll say it a few times. I think she lucked out and that this photo is the most high-quality from the bunch. The rest of them are all kind of blurry and I think hers is the most clear she also delivered something where she didn’t have to do a lot of work and it was still successful, but I don’t really like her modeling in it

6th charlotte originally 6th eh I mean she looks pretty, but I think the crying concept of the drunkenly crying thing takes away from what could be a cool shot. I know it was her concept or whatever but the other day I don’t think the shot is like that impactful or successful that the crying was worth it I also hate the fact that I cannot tell if she’s wearing yellow tights so that’s just the lighting hitting her skin.😅

7th Aaron originally 5th - Aaron is the only one who lucked out from the photo being so blurry cause I think if you squint your eyes so slightly it’s actually a very beautiful photo of her the way she sways like if you cut out that one arm that’s coming out I think it would be a decent photo of her. I just think the one arm is a little silly. It kinda of drags down the whole shot.

8th lynzi orignally 7th - definitely a better photo for her. I believe her concept was the birthday girl which I get none of from this photo it kind of just looks like a mom got drunk on a bar and he’s like staring down the server. She looks old. She looks short and she doesn’t have a neck. No good

9th Musayeroh orignally 13th - to give her some credit. I think she got the best set up and I think she looks OK from afar. 😅 like I can imagine the version where her face and body are better and I like the photo better because of that, but when she delivered was not that, but if we made the photo more blurry and zoomed it out, I think it would be decently successful. 😅

10th Louise orignally 8th - I really don’t like the photo it’s too messy. She looks so uncomfortable. It’s just not for me. I don’t think it works in any sense of modeling and overall I just find it to be very weak.

11th Leanne originally 10th - doesn’t work I can’t see her face. Her pose is silly. Her outfit is terrible and overall it’s just unfortunately forgettable, which is a shame because I do think Leanne is going to be one of the stronger models this season.

12th Alex originally 12th -from the top to the bottom in her defense. I do not think this concept was ever gonna work, especially since the drinks are not glued down. I don’t think you could ever get this fun party cocktail waitress when you actually have to balance the glasses on the tray. Her pose is tense and awkward and stiff. Well, it’s not her fault. This photo definitely deserves its bottom two spot.

13th Martha originally 11th - I don’t like it. She looks so uncomfortable like she’s about to pass out, but also was forcing herself to stay awake. A terrible photo that was not called low enough.

I am back!!! with another ranking of a season mainly cause I’m bored, some context for this this is one of the few seasons that I watched without being spoiled so I do enjoy it !!! I also think that this season is very underrated cause it’s very good

the photo shoot itself. I think it’s a really simple and effective way to not do a lot of photos, but to give all the models something natural that shows off their look and modeling ability!!!!

I’m going to be looking at these photos basically if they are successfully interacting with each other to create a successful photo and how well they’re doing individually

1st Alex originally 4th - I think Alex nailed this. I love her pose the way the arm reaches over Stephanie, the arching of the back the way the jeans look on her. I like her eyebrow and her eye contact. I really like the photo. I think she nailed the two aspects of interacting with her partner, but making herself look great and it was a great way to start!!

2nd Stefanie originally 8th - Stephanie and Alex have my favorite overall photo. I think Stephanie is really good in it too. I really love her face and the expression it’s making and the way her hair just falls so naturally but when you look at her body, the hand is a little awkward and she could’ve arched her body more to create more shape shapes, but overall definitely good

3rd Leanne originally 7th - I think Leanne‘s photos really cool there’s something very like early 2000s about it. It’s very rocker and just the way she’s modeling and chose to approach the concept. I think really works. It feels natural for her, which is not something that can be said for most of these photos which I think helps her stand out amongst the crowd in a positive way

4th Lauren originally 6th - this might be a hot take. I really do not like Lisa on this photo. I think if Lauren had done this photo by herself, it would be so much better. I just the almost laid back by Lauren hasn’t it but still making it like very purposeful I think her face is great and her look is good and she looks good in the jeans. I really wish Lisa was not gripping onto her for dear life, I find it odd

5th Rachel originally 1st - oh boy she’s a fun one I really like Rachel’s look and I think she’s doing fine here I think she looks a little bit awkward here like she’s about to sneeze and she’s trying to keep it together but that’s all just from her like face. I think her body is modeling pretty good here and it does look natural for her. Which I think is just kind of stiff for other people.😅

6th Louise originally 5th - I think Louise looks really pretty here. It’s a very natural photo for her. I think she looks delicate nice I wish she was not pressing her hand with.Musayeroh because I think it makes the whole photo feel a little bit off but overall, very pretty for her

7th Catherine originally 3rd - I do like Catherine a lot and I will go to love her as the cycle goes on, but I really did not get the praise for this photo. She doesn’t really have a neck in the way that doesn’t work and I think she just looks kinda like scared like someone just randomly hugged her and she’s asking her friend off to the side for help.

8th charlotte originally 9th - it’s cute I don’t really like the face she’s making and like Stephanie I think her body is not as arched as it could’ve been which when you have a direct comparison, such as Rachel, it really hurts her portion of the photo

9th Sophie originally 14th - I don’t think this is necessarily a successful photo, but in the grand scheme of things looking at all everyone else’s photos, I think she did fine. Her expression is a little odd, but overall, I think her body positioning well a bad choice looks OK and her face looks OK. It’s been a quick minute, but I am curious why she was the first boot. My best guess would be because she has too much of a similar look to some of the other people.

10th Musayeroh originally 12th -it’s not great I think she delivered almost everything at like a C+ level, her face looks fine. Her body looks fine. I actually think her lack of neck is OK. It’s not like distracting and her hand looks pretty graceful. My only real comment is the arm that’s wrapping around. Her stomach makes it look like her stomach is bigger than it is, but overall, I thought she did OK.

11th Lisa originally 2nd -as mentioned before I pretty much hate every single thing she’s doing in this photo. I don’t get why she’s like blankly staring off. I don’t like her freakishly long arm. Either and I think overall she really drags down the photo with how she’s clinging onto Lauren for dear life. The only reason she is not on my bottom spot is that she looks somewhat natural like there is a very natural vibe to her photo which is not present in the other ones, but second was far too high for this photo

12th Aaron orignally 13th - i’ll give her credit. She looks better than Martha. I do not like Aaron’s photo either the only thing I can really say for why I preferred over the bottom too is that I kinda see a model here like she looks the most model out of the other two which lets her scrape by, but barely

13th Martha originally 11th - I don’t like this I think her hands look terrible. I think her face and the more like timid thing does not work well for this type of photo shoot. And her body just looks so weird like her shoulders are very like concaved and her expressions just off. I wouldn’t have eliminated her just to be clear, but I definitely think she was very much in the bottom.

14th lynzi originally 10th - what the hell is this? It looks like a joke like an 80s fitness instructor doing like high fashion nude modeling her face is weird. The pose is weird. Absolutely the worst photo of the bunch it’s not even close the fact that she was not even in the bottom too kind of baffles me because I don’t think she is even slightly successful in this shot

Hi everybody, it’s me, your host!  Eric Nicholson!  You might remember me from such things as the rest of the earlier parts of this cycle!  It’s my only real accomplishment according to my mom and even then she only says that when she’s 3/4 deep into a box of wine.  

It’s amazing that you’ve stuck with us this long.  Our contestants gave us everything this cycle.  Sexy secretaries.  Weird animals.  North Korean minerals?  Yes, it was like a fever dream from that time Tyra got sick from too many haggis logs after a Cycle 2 judging.  I wasn’t allowed to talk about that for a long time, but now that my NDA has expired, it’s fair game!

At the end of it all, however, only Ebonee and Xiao Wen remain in the running to see who will be crowned the WINNER of the Face / Off Cycle.  The winning model will receive her cover and spread in The Face Magazine!  Also she’ll be the new face of the Face / Off Fragrance!  To be sold at Walgreens in the central midwest!  And also the winner can have the keys to my car, but not the car itself because I still do need that, unfortunately.

For their final challenge, Ebonee and Xiao Wen shot their covers and magazine spreads.  We also analyzed their portfolios, and the judges were asked WHO DO YOU THINK SHOULD WIN???  Let’s get to it…

Ebonee, honestly, you defied all expectations for being an ANTM contestant of all things.  Your performance down the stretch was inspiring.  Mind bending.  Even Rayon’s cousin Crayon said it was, “Admittedly good.”  Rayon is not so convinced, alas.

But in the end, you fell victim to the dreaded ANTM Curse, which all started one fateful day in Cycle Five, and there was no going back.  You know what I’m talking about.

Zodiac Signs: Charlee - Ox, India - Goat

Hey everybody!  It’s me, Eric Nicholson, your host of this weird, very off cycle of The Face!  Last week, our top three went head-to-head-to-head and submitted perfume campaigns.  After a VERY HEATED voting, we said goodbye to the icon, Imaan, and are now staring down the barrel of an Ebonee vs. Xiao Wen Final.

For their finale submissions, Ebonee and Xiao Wen are each putting forth their best cover image for The Face Magazine as well as a corresponding six page spread.  Each photo needed to be inspired by one of this cycle’s unused briefs.  The cover needed to pair well with the spread but it did not need to be part of the spread itself.

Spread description: The story begins with the mint packaging of a doll. It moves to a moment where the doll breaks into the world for experimentation and manipulation losing its former shine. The narrative then shifts to domestic stagnation as the doll begins to fade, to be forgotten and repurposed. Finally, the cycle concludes with a chilling descent into obsolescence, leaving the doll preserved or melted away in storage.

The final three are informed that they must go straight from their Fantasy Cosmetics shoot straight to panel. Aghast, and still in full-beat and geish at 7AM in the morning, they are completely dumbfounded. Surely, this can't be. But alas, a fantasy model must be prepared at all times to be on-camera for their reality competition show, and so the rules of Tyra's world apply to them and nobody else. Such is the way of Modelland, sveeties.

As they slouch into the judging room, not a little intimidated and a smidgin irritated, they stand in front of Tyra Lynn Banks née BanX.

"Hello ladies - apologies for taking so long, I have been meeting lawyers all week." Her right eye twitches. "But for you, this week was all about what any supermodel worth her Diet Coke must know how to do; shoot a cosmetics ad. And, I must say, you all did so with professionalism and aplomb. Dissecting and judging these photos has been a gargantuant task, not least because Erik Nicholson is the only judge I have left, and I have a condition called Jane Magazine Blindness where I can't actually see, hear, taste, touch or feel him."

Erik glowers at her from the judging desk, which has now become a judging lawn chair (except for Tyra's, which is a custom-made crown).

"But, we must get back to the business of the day. This terrible decision we've had to make. We've been back and forth, up and down and round and round about this.

However - we've reached a decision.

Three beautiful young ladies stand before me... but I only have two photos in my hands. And these two photos represent not only the two of you that are still in the running towards becoming the Fantasy Next Top Model, but the two girls that will compete against each other in our grand finale.

The first name that I'm going to call... and the first finalist... is..."

Tyra reveals the photo.

"India."

India has tears in her eyes as she takes her photo.

"You've come a long, long way - and you've made FNTM history doing it. You are the first full-figured model to make it to the final two. You should be proud of yourself. But, it isn't over until the supermodel poses, as goes the saying I've just made up, and girl, we want to see your best work yet in this very last challenge.

Congratulations - you're still in the running towards becoming the Fantasy Next Top Model."

As the first finalist settles into the safety zone, Tyra turns to the remaining two.

"Would Charlee and Colin please step forward?"

They both do so.

“Two beautiful young ladies stand before me,” says Tyra. “But I only have one photo in my hands. And this photo represents not only the girl that will still be in the running towards becoming the Fantasy Next Top Model, but the girl who is a finalist, and will be going head-to-head, against India, in our grand finale.

I will only call one name. And the name of the girl that I do not call must immediately return to their house here in Rio de Janeiro, pack her bags, and go home.

Charlee, You have been riding a wave of first-call-outs, one after the other. But, when push came to shove, and the prize cosmetic company ad loomed, you stumbled. Flopped. Choked. Your shot was sleepy and busy all at the same time. If you can't be the face of Fantasy Cosmetics, how can we trust you to go out there and represent us?

Colin, you are an enigma. Yes, you've been up and down, but when you're on, you're on. And this week, you delivered an interesting, atypical beauty ad. But we have to wonder, is your style too specific and out there to be a blank canvas for all?"

Tyra reveals the final photo.

"Charlee, congratulations."

A relieved and shocked Charlee steps forward to claim her photo.

"But whether you win this competition or not, and you want to be a model, you have to know how to lead a campaign and master the art of the cosmetics advert. You're still in the running towards becoming the Fantasy Next Top Model."

Approaching the eliminated model, Tyra takes them by the hands. "I know this is a shock," she says. "So close, yet so far. It stings. But you have such a unique, special something to offer this industry. You do. I don't want you to squander it. Instead, use that fire in your belly and that artsy, creative flair you have to go out there and conquer. Prove us wrong."

And with that, and an emotional goodbye to the final two, the curious and creatively coquetteish Colin Jones departs the Fantasy Next Top Model competition.

From fashion bootcamp and caricature close-ups, to cowboys and festivals, the thirteen models of Fantasy Next Top Model Cycle 8 have had one hell of a race to the finish line!

They've braved rainforests, the New York commute, and the fauxest of fashuns...

But now, just three girls remain!

Charlee, the rock'n'roll fashion rebel from New South Wales, Australia. After a bumpy start, Charlee put her foot on the pedal, and unveiled an uncanny, chameleon-like versatility with one knockout shot after the other. But, throughout the competition the judges have struggled to put their finger on her brand and USP - can Charlee show us what makes her one-of-a-kind in order to win the title?

Colin, the artsy and creative muse from U-tah, US of A. Colin's imagination and daring to be different always kept her at the front of the judges' minds, and at the very top of a dominant pack. But with great risk there comes not just great rewards, but great inconsistency. Can Colin pull off a winning streak in time to snatch the crown?

And India, the buxom and bodacious Aussie with a sexy edge. India's eye-catching quirk immediately made the judges sit up and notice her, as well as her resourcefulness and keen ability to put her individual spin on any given assignment. But, as the competition wore on, they began to fear that India was running out of steam - can this Ozzie accelerate before it's too late?

Ladies, it's time to put your best face forward.

We're nearing the end, and with the trophy and crown just a touch and a hair's breadth away, victory is tantalizingly close.

Soon, one of you will be crowned the Fantasy Next Top Model - and this week, we will decide which two of you will go head-to-head in our grand finale.

For their penultimate challenge, the models shot a Fantasy Cosmetics ad! They were allowed to choose any product they wanted to sell. We're including their original shot and the final, edited ad for you to consider together to make your ranking.

Hi everyone! It’s me, Eric Nicholson, your host, remember? I don’t! Haha! 

Last week, there were only four models left competing for the best prizes of all TIME and SPACE. I’m even talking on a quantum level it’s that good. 

We were going to give the winner a fortune in Bitcoin, but the bottom fell out of that market and now there is no such thing! So instead, they’ll get their cover and spread and three dozen barely expired eggs from the Dollar Store! And also one other VERY EXCITING PRIZE that we will reveal shortly.

BUT FIRST…last week our models traveled to Switzerland to tackle an “alpine folklore” brief designed by Ebonee herself. The general consensus was, “WTF is alpine folklore???” 

Well, it’s Krampus and some other stuff. Let’s see how they did!

Ebonee just continues to annihilate the back half of this competition. Better step it up other contestants because you’re getting SMOKED! 

Alas, dear Birgit, our OG winner, we bid you adieu. At least you can leave the game knowing you actually already won it in a cycle that was literally rigged against you! And there’s no bigger prize than that, you icon, you.  Except for three dozen barely expired eggs.

And we now have our illustrious Final Three!

Now a few weeks ago, all of a sudden I (Eric Nicholson, your host) woke up one morning and went, "Oh crap!  Top Three is always a perfume ad!  I didn't even think about that!"

And then I went to Ann Shoket because Ann is a genius, and Ann said, "Why don't you do two conflicting fragrances because this is the FACE / OFF cycle???"

And I said, "You are a genius!  Do you want to have brunch?"

And Ann said, "No."  Alas.  But I’m used to it.

So we are launching our newest fragrance collection for The Face, and this time, it's all about selling a conflicting fragrance duo!

The contestants could choose between three appropriate Face / Off themes:

1. Masculine vs. Feminine (humanity’s OG face off)

2. Natural vs. Hypersynthetic (because with today's hypersynthetic Kardashian culture, you might just chemical peel your whole face off or use filters until you’re unrecognizable…AHEM NATASHA)

3. Nic Cage vs. John Travolta (obvs)

As an added chaos bonus, if a contestant chose a theme that no one else did, they will get a little boost to their score.

The final four trudge out of the Amazon rainforest, dripping in mud, red welts from insect bites blazing on their arms, a haunted and feral look in their eyes. The production team, for drama, simply never picked them up from their photoshoot. The cars never came. Where they went, we'll never know. What's their secret? They're lost to the jungle forever.

Of course, in modelling and fashion, there's no rest for the wicked. As soon as the girls emerge, they are driven to panel, allowed a respite of time to bathe and dress, before they're thrown into high heels and too-tight, unflatteringly pink dresses and put in front of the judging panel.

Surrounded by exotic fruits and chirping birdsong, Tyra Banks is there.

"Welcome, ladies," she says. "I heard you all survived the jungle. Well done! On the bright side, you're alive. On the dark side, I now have to make a cut - our tenth, in fact. Pros and cons, I guess. Right, judges?"

She looks at the table behind her, but there are no judges - only cardboard cutouts of those who had been there before. Well, not entirely true - Erik Nicholson is still there, but even he doesn't seem to be sure why.

"What, we all just don't turn up to work and don't tell Erik?" he mutters to himself.

Tyra ignores him. "This week, you each shot an editorial for Vogue Brazil inspired by the Amazon Rainforest. But who gave us jungle fever, and who wilted in the heat?

Four beautiful young ladies stand before me... but I only have three photos in my hands. And these three photos represent the three of you that are still in the running towards becoming the Fantasy Next Top Model.

The first name that I'm going to call is the best photo of the week, and will be displayed as digital. art. in your villa, here in Rio.”

Tyra reveals the first picture.

"Charlee. Fourth in a row! This is athletic and commanding, but it still feels both organic and editorial. We likey. Congratulations - you're still in the running towards becoming the Fantasy Next Top Model."

As the girl settles into the safety zone, the next name is called.

"Colin. You must've really listened to last week's criticism, because this is inspired. Literally. You took a fauna of the rainforest and spun your magic, and from it emerged an editorial gaw-desk. Congratulations."

Only two girls remain.

"Would India and Meghan please step forward?"

They both do so.

“Two beautiful young ladies stand before me,” says Tyra. “But I only have one photo in my hands. And this photo represents the girl that will still be in the running towards becoming the Fantasy Next Top Model. I will only call one name, and the name of the girl that I do not call must immediately return to their house here in Rio de Janeiro, pack her bags, and go home.

India, your photo was beautiful, but the connection to the rainforest felt forced. For this entire competition, your ability to make the brief work around your own body of work has never ceased to amaze us, but now we wonder: is she running out of options?

Meghan, your photo was beautiful, but the competition is getting so thick now, that we're not sure if it was enough. What we now wonder is: has she lost her creativity and drive?

So who stays?"

Tyra reveals the last photo.

"India, we think you have even more to show us. I believe in you. The judges believe in you. That's why you're here. But we are almost at the end - now is not the time to start dropping the ball. So dig your acrylic claws into that portfolio o' yours, and hunt down shots that will blow us away. Congratulations - you're still in the running towards becoming the Fantasy Next Top Model."

Tyra embraces Meghan. "Girl, am I proud of you! You came in the weird, strange, offbeat girl, but got to show us that that girl can be sexy and campy and dramatic, and a hundred other things. You are a chameleON. I normally impart advice on a girl when she leaves, but I think this was a case of a tough week - and sometimes that's all it is. I believe in you just as much as ever. You have IT. Now go and claim your career, girl! It's there!"

And with a melancholic goodbye to the remaining three models, Meghan Collinson departs the competition.

Ladies, you're in your Amazon prime.

And no, I don't mean the Jeff Bezos-owned slave factory (allegedly!). I mean the gorgeous, lush, sweeping, winding jungles and rainforest that covers approximately 40% of not just Brazil but the entire South American continent!

This week, our final four shot an editorial for Vogue Brazil inspired by the aforementioned Amazon Rainforest. Their photo had to draw a connection with an aspect of the rainforest itself, be that its flora, fauna, tribes or a specific part of its history, while also looking like it could be a Vogue editorial.

The models were allowed to choose an inspiration picture (please view and consider these in the comments below where applicable).
