The express A and D trains go very slowly between 125 and 145th street, and often times if a local C/B leaves at the same time it will beat the express, despite stopping at 135th. Any idea why they move so slow? I imagine it has to do with the fact that the A has to switch to the upper level and the D to the lower but I'm not sure.

All R62/As, but never see as many posts complaining about the 3. Could it be because of variance in different yard maintenance, or because of the 3s express segments?

Haven’t seen any updates about the fare gates in a while. Have the MTA decided which of the vendors they’re going to pursue and start installing at other stations?

If The St. Louis Car Company, Pullman Standard, Budd or ACF was still in business, who would you pick and trust to build the R262? And why?

1) Would yall prefer the 7 to go to Secaucus or 14th St-10 Av or any other way

2) How the hell should I connect to Staten Island. Legit the shortest way seems to be from 59 St in Brooklyn, but holy this map makes that connection look janky

3) What else in the Bronx(Especially a color for CBX)

4) Legit any other suggestion that I can realistically do on this cramped map

Due to recent floods in the train stations, what happens when the water touches the third rail? Does it electrocute everything around it including the trains and whoever touches the water?

Does anyone enjoy showtime on the subway or are we all just pitting up with it?

For the 3rd time now, I've gotten on a 6 train that felt like a literal oven. It felt like an extremely warm and dry heat, so it wasn't that unbearable, but still crazy. Not like the ac was broken, but like someone turned on a giant heater. Does anyone know why this happens? I've only ever experienced it on the 6 before.

Does anyone else remember this airport like horizontal escalator that was there.

I believe it was removed because of the work they were going to be doing for the L train related to hurricane Sandy damage. And something about ridership in G increasing and as to limit traffic flow the walkway was removed. Or something like that. I'm probably misremembering but long story short it was removed and would be cool to get it back.

I've written to them as a feedback suggestion. Perhaps you could do so too if you would like it back.

I'm curious if anyone else has any ideas.

Or clarify why it should NOT be back so I can learn.

Out of curiosity, what if the unused lower level tracks at City Hall (R)/(W) curved slightly to a somewhat diagonal new station under City Hall Pk [from north on Bway/Chambers St to south between Bway and City Hall building], then a smooth curve, then incline to connect back to old tracks under Bway/Vesey St? Construction is only under the park, so structures and (R)/(W) service would not be affected until the connection from new to old track under Vesey St is ready, then (R) would terminate at Whitehall St from Bk, and (R)/(W) at City Hall upper level from Qns. After connection is completed, City Hall upper level can be used for whatever. Would this improve service in the long run, or not worth the effort?

Fyi: (2)/(3) run below City Hall (R)/(W) upper and lower levels, so (2)/(3) service would not be affected.

With the R268 assumed to be 1:1 copies of the R211 -just under a different contract number- will the pilot set have to go through all the rigorous testing that the R211 pilot did? Or will they be able to be ushered straight into service just as R211 cars are currently?

my mom took my omny card and i have hers. when i scan, the red and white bands go off on the turnstile.

1. can i go to jail for this if the police catch me?

2. do the cameras check this and associate your face using AI technology to the original card owner and then sue you?

3. can station agents catch me or can only police do that?
