Regarding Photo op tickets and panel reservations (first timer)

I bought tickets for me and my son with my superfan subscription. Now as i understand it. I will have to send him gis tickets to his own popverse account. He will have to have ticket reservations for panels and photos on his account. BUT i haven't send him the tickets yet. With ticket sales for photos going online later today for subscribers i was wondering if i can book these now for every ticket i have in my account. And then send him the tickets after every panel and photo op is already booked. Will these reservations will go with the ticket when i send them to him? Would be much easier because only i got the popverse subscription and have early acces

Do I have to preorder photos/signatures?

Hello everyone, this is my first time going to nycc. My friends and I were all planning on getting photos and signatures from several actors/voice actors. People such as the smallville cast, Hayden Christensen, Ben starr, etc. Would we have to preorder them at all? We were expecting to pay as we go during our time there. We appreciate any feedback, thanks!

Is LaGuardia the best airport to fly into for a quick day trip to NYCC and back? And if so, what's the best way to the Javits Center from there?

I am keeping an eye on additions to the guest list, but I'm strongly considering a whirlwind day trip to NYCC, most likely on the Thursday -- arrive super-early, spend most of the day there meeting comic creators and getting books signed, get something good to eat, fly home to Florida that night.

I'm not local, but I attended NYCC in 2024 when I had a few days to spend in the city, and I've been to NYC a handful of times. I've only ever flown in and out of LaGuardia, and I admit I've never taken the subway because I've always traveled with my wife in the past, and she is disabled, so we stuck to cabs and Lyft rides.

Would LaGuardia be the best choice for getting to the Javits Center quickly and easily? If not, which would be better? And depending on the airports, what would be the quickest and easiest public transportation method... if there is one? I'm not above taking a Lyft to get there that much faster and more efficiently, to maximize my limited time.

Thanks to all who have replied. I definitely have a lot to consider!

Xperience Autographs

Does anyone know if Xperience is still a group that might be bringing voice actors to NYCC for signings? They usually get some really solid people but all of their social media seems to have disappeared. There are some voice actors I’m really hoping might be there but this would significantly reduce my chances.

Hello first timer

Hey I’m a first timer coming from Europe to NYC comic con, I’m looking at Sunday tickets for me and my kid. I’m such a noob with all this, so I get your ticket gets you in but you need a separate ticket for an auto/photo with nick cage?

Is the New Yorker hotel a decent place to stay in relation to the venue?

Is Sunday just as good?😊

Appreciate the help thanks.

Camping overnight

This is my first year attending and I'm only attending on Sunday. When should I start waiting for entrance? And are there different lines for entrance? I bought my ticket the moment they announced Nic Cage lol.

Edit** I've never been to a convention this size, I've only been to Fanboy or Galaxy Con. Everything in those events have always been on one floor and I would typically have to wait 2-3 hours before the event at the entrance. I was asking an honest question, there is no need for rude comments. Thank you to those that have been kind and that have offered genuine answers.

VA error on Ben Starr’s Signet autograph preorder

It’s not a huge error, but I found it funny how they accidentally put him as the voice of Gustave (Charlie Cox) instead of Verso.

Anyways, here’s hoping i can just show up in line to get him to sign my E33 vinyl! I don’t trust mailing that kind of thing in for a pre ordered signature haha

Solo for the 1st time!

So this will be my 11th straight NYCC but my 1st as a solo traveler (my usual group just couldn’t swing it this year, it’s tough out there 😅)

For those of you that’ve done the con solo do you find yourself gravitating towards certain events/areas of the con more with the freedom of being alone and more nimble?

Also more than happy to meet up with anyone who needs the help or just a friendly face at the con! I could probably navigate the Javits blindfolded at this point 😂

Should I just go Friday or Friday + Sunday?

This is my first Nycc ( not a con novice, been to plenty others) and I was wondering if its worth adding on sunday to my trip?

My friend group is mostly interested in dealers room/artist alley. We would love to do some panels as well and meet maybe one or two celebrity guests but with one day, we doubt we will be able to.

We were debating sunday as a extra day but we have heard negative reviews about sundays.

What do you think? Is it worth adding on Sunday and if we do, is there anything we should focus on doing Friday that won’t be available sunday?

Thanks!

Marvel Guests

As of me posting this, it is the 12th of July and we STILL have not gotten any big names dropped yet for Marvel. I understand that we all need to be patient and this is gonna be my first NYCC experience but I have a good chunk of money on me rn so I’m desperately waiting for a huge name to be dropped. Fan expo Boston just announced Chris Evans so im hoping NYCC can bring him back or anyone so I can have a chance to meet them. But what Marvel guests you think should come this year for the 20th anniversary?

3D printed weapons allowed ?

Post image
99 Upvotes

it’s my first time going to nycc and also my first time bringing any weapon props to a convention so i’m just wondering if these would be okay. i’m attaching a picture of my (unfinished lol) requiem but my friend will also have a 3d printed glock 19. each gun is 3d printed so both very lightweight and both will have a bright colored tip at all times !!

Comparing VIP Prices for Florida Supercon

https://www.floridasupercon.com/en-us/buy/tickets.html?utm_source=Eloqua&utm_campaign=FLASC2026_Visit_Aware_Acqui_E_06_Jul_Supercon_this_week%20&utm_medium=email&utm_term=F&utm_id=F&querytoken=QG5m0cuJ2gbz11KbXYVbhJz2FXPu3BpbWTPs1HddJukN1gPRGH%2BYVBfpIA0DTLUszLq8cSIgrc9BOr6WYdepnw%3D%3D

Single VIP badge pretty much matches what they are offering at NYCC currently.

They separated the special celeb meet and greet and even have one that guarantees a seat at the cosplay contest too. I just feel grabbing the cosplay one isn't

But yo, the VIP family bundle $436 for 2 Adult VIP and 2 Kids VIP tickets. That is a steal, and it comes with $40 in food vouchers.

TBH offering food vouchers to multiday badge holders as an add on wouldn't be the worst idea.

Al; I hope is Reedpop better be testing out these ticket options for next years NYCC.

This is my first time going to Nycc. What can I expect?

I have always wanted to attend a Comic-Con, and I am unsure of exactly what to expect. Will there be foods to try? Free loot to find? Activities? I cannot find all too much on the website, so I am curious.

Edit: Thanks, guys. I wasn’t sure if stuff is already posted or not. I know that it’s still a ways away, but I was just curious what is out already to know about.

I’m hoping there’ll be something cool for the new avengers movie and big game releases like ocarina, cuphead, etc.
