I'm preparing for nclex. My nclex is on 7th August. I'm studying mark klimek 12 lectures audio+Dr Sharon videos+bootcamp. I would love any feedback of how to learn from question I get wrong. Should I write down the rational? Study the concept? Does writing down work best or making flashcards? How did you guys go about learning the questions you got wrong?

going for third attempt. first two attempts were done completely unprepared. graduated last August, motivating myself every day despite being a full time home carer, manifesting myself to post that I passed in the next few weeks. good luck to all the future nurses.

I am losing confidence as the days come closer to the exam date . But I feel like 19% rank on the Uworld is bringing me down. The assessments says very high chance of passing but it is showing the average on Uworld is 47% and I’m at 19% 😅 I used 98% of the questions and can no longer do the CAT tests. Should I extend my exam date or just take it next week. Thank you in advance for your advice.

I’ve tried archer, u world both and finished whole question bank and got Hugh & very high still failed my 2nd attempt…can anyone tell me what should I try on my 3rd attempt?? I really want to work on my critical thinking I think I lack there and there were many simple case study like hyperthyroidism still I over analyse it and select wrong answer.

There’s a billion of these posts on here, but I just wanted to share my POV. Took the NCLEX yesterday and I felt good about a lot of my answers but somehow still had to do the full 150 questions. Been stressing for the last day, only to see that I thankfully passed. To all of my 150ers who are awaiting results, trust your gut and not the question amount. At the end of the day, it’s either a pass or a fail, in 85 or not.

Also just watch Mark K. Dudes the goat. Also go to the Klimek Reviews YouTube channel and there’s a ton of videos on there where a lady uses his strategies to actually answer questions. Very helpful

Ya’ll!!!!! I did my NCLEX yesterday and got my results today that I passed!

Took me to 150 questions, I got lots of SATA, bow tie, case studies, and some standalone questions. NGL some questions I didn’t even know what they were asking. I felt like the exam didn’t get harder as I went on it kinda just stayed the same throughout.

Just wanted to come on here and give some advice. I studied for 3 months using bootcamp only, I did the crash course videos first and read through the cheat sheets, after that I did the quizzes and standalone questions for each section.

I left my readiness exams for the last week before my NCLEX was scheduled.

The last 2 weeks of my studying period, I binged watched dr Sharon’s videos specifically her priority playlist, maternity, pediatrics, growth and development. I did not touch the pharm videos on bootcamp since Sharon’s pharmacology playlist covered a lot of meds that was on the NCLEX.

It is so important to take a break before your exam, do not study the day before and really try to relax the week before your exam. The only thing I did was mark k lecture 12 the night before.

All in all, it was very nerve wrecking, I cried the night before and the morning of my exam because my anxiety was through the roof and when I got to 150 questions I wasn’t confident. You’re not going to know everything, you’re going to feel like you didn’t study at all, you’re going to doubt yourself but just hang in there. Be patient with yourself and breathe!!

Bootcamp I feel like over prepared me for the complexity of the exam I found the NCLEX to be easier in my opinion which is a good thing. But everyone has their different strategies.

Good luck everyone and trust your gut. If you don’t understand something ask dr Sharon. I’m pretty sure she’s the reason I passed!

Hey guys I currently have my second attempt scheduled for August 31st. I used UWorld for my first attempt I used 100% of the qbank and got 41% right (Terrible I know) I also watched all the mark k videos. I’ll include my nclex summary in this post but I just need help with what I should do next. I plan on watching the Dr.Sharon videos before I start any new resource. I keep reading post that say some resources are better and have a pass guarantee. Does that mean you’ll pass it or you’ll get your money back if you fail? I’m not looking to fail again so if anyone can help me out with this I’d appreciate it.

My nerves are totally getting to me, am I’m psyching myself out. I was charged but didn’t get a confirmation for another registration… once I got to this page I hit cancel. Was this the right way to do it? I took my NCLEX this morning finished at around 10am waiting til about 3pm to try it…

I took my nclex yesterday, went to 150 questions. After 85 i felt kind of bummed out the more it kept going up i just accepted having to do the full 150. I got like 5-6 case studies with the 6 questions. A long of single case studies, like 15-20 SATAS maybw more honestly , lots of prioritization, even some healthcare management stuff. I felt like i was guessing between two questions majority of the exam. On the case studies i did notice i was getting a good amount right bc it would indirectly confirm the answer the next question. But no seriously i think i failed and as much as im disappointed i feel like im accepting any outcome and honestly just grateful for the experience of taking the exam.

Wishing for the best still though, anyone have any experiences with nclex?

i went up to 150 questions. i had 6 case studies, a lot of my content focused on OB and mental health. which are two of my worst subjects. :/ i feel so discouraged.

So this is my second time taking the test. I went to 150 the first time as well and now this time i went to 150. I feel a lot better about this one. I had a bunch of case studies especially the stand alone case studies with only 1 question. I was kinda upset about it not stopping at 85 bc i have ptsd from failing at 150. The questions in my opinion weren’t super super hard. I felt like I knew what the question was asking most of the time. Just asking to see what my chance of passing is.

Hello guys 22F failed my NCLEX for the 2nd time. I wrote it yesterday and the exam stopped at 150qs just like my first time. I have been feeling very down since. I graduated nursing school last year June. I followed all the advice from last post , purchased BOOTCAMP. Which I got 4 high chances of passing in the readiness exams. I did 95% of the qs bank . I got into a routine for the two weeks leading up to the exam going to the library everyday, following the schedule BOOTCAMP provided but to no avail. I feel the NCLEX questions are a lot harder and worded totally different. I did not watch the mark K lectures I did read the notes on lecture 12. Maybe I think now I should focus on that . If anyone has any tips on how I can boost my chance for next time will be greatly appreciated. The NCLEX is no easy feat. Below I attached my CPR.

Is mark k Nclex review notes good to use for the Nclex 2026?

I thought I would have scores in the 70's or 80's but my scores are not strong and my exam is 8am tomorrow. At this point there isn't much i can do. I'm so disappointed and scared. All my friends who passed had substantially higher scores.

bro wtf was that 😭😭😭 went to 150 questions, had 5 case studies, 6 stand alone, 5 bow tie, and plenty of SATA. My U-world self assessment said “high chance of passing” and I was scoring 68-70 on CATS with a medium to hard difficulty. Not sure what to think, i’m so irritated 😭

What do you guys think? Also ask me questions if you have any abt the NCLEX! :)

Hi everyone to give a quick little background story I graduated with my BSN in December and failed my first attempt in March. The first time around I will admit I did not study or prepare as well as I should have and mainly because during my nursing program they drilled ATI on to us and every semester we had to take what they called a "comp predictor" which we had to pass with a 75% or above in order to pass the semester which I did every semester, so I only used board vitals and saw that my scores were remaining around the same average but it did not prep me for the actual NCLEX at all.

After my first failed attempt I was down bad ... I felt like a fraud, like all the work I had put in during nursing school and my grades counted for nothing and on top of all of that I felt so embarrassed because I had to notify my new grad job that I had failed ...

Going into it the second time around I had originally scheduled it right at the 45 day mark and I am not exaggerating at all.. I probably rescheduled it about 10 times and kept pushing it out because I was so scared of failing again especially because my school would always "warn us" that it was much more difficult to pass it on the second try..

Things I did to prep for taking the NCLEX a second time around :

1. Allowed my self grace ... I had to learn on how to be kind to myself and remind myself that failing my first time did not make me a failure or determine that I am not meant to be a nurse. I also gave my self the time and space to enjoy life and other things along with studying. I found this to be super helpful because the 2 weeks I dedicated all my time and energy to studying I felt miserable and found it impossible to retain any type of information.
   
2. \*\* IMPORTANT\*\*\* Try and figure out your weak points (I used chat gpt and google gemini). I did this by submitting my report to chat/gemini to try and help me understand my weaknesses, this helped me immensely because it helped me realize that I was pretty solid in knowing the content but my weak points was in my test taking strategies, breaking down questions and analyzing cues.
   
3. Links / videos / material that helped me : I went down a rabbit hole of YouTube videos, tiktoks, reddit posts, fb posts for any tips, tricks, advice, suggestions literally looking for anything that would help me build my confidence and test taking skills. The videos I will say that I know for a fact helped me was this video from simple nursing ([https://youtu.be/71Vmjq9GolI?si=J5c7wfLMUSvdNf6M\](https://youtu.be/71Vmjq9GolI?si=J5c7wfLMUSvdNf6M)) it helped me understand how the NCLEX questions are worded and how to break them down, and trust me I know every one says Mark K lectures but lecture 12 is the key lecture !! BUT I will say do not listen to it all at once and then go take the test, personally what I found helpful was listening to the lecture and after each helpful "tip" he would give I would then go back to my question bank and complete 50-100 questions applying that technique or until I felt like I understood how to properly use the technique. This took me about a week or so to do but if your weakness if test taking strategies like me, this helped me A TON !!
   
4. Which program did I use to study? Uworld, but I will say I was just as cluelessness as anyone else and I just chose Uworld. I don't think I can recommend any other because I literally have no clue that they look like or offer but this is what I used. But along with it I utilized my candidate performance report a lot, I even uploaded it to chat gpt and gemini to help me figure out what topics/subjects to focus on and would adjust my quiz bank settings accordingly.
   
5. Actually helpful .. not sure... : Since I was terrified and scared out of my mind on failing again something to help me mentally was making a "test day routine"... when I was in school I would hear that doing things like writing in red ink or smelling certain smells could help your brain remember things better .. so I decided to do a "test day" routine to help calm my nerves and make me feel like it would help me the day of 😅 ... the routine included drinking the same flavor coffee, applying my favorite essential oil on both my wrists and wearing the same sweater before every study session and the day of my exam, is there actual proof that this helped me pass .. no but I will say it did help lower my anxiety levels by a lot
   
6. Day of test: I think we have all heard the eat a good meal, go to bed early before your exam day ... yea I was up in bed tossing and turning until about 1am when my exam was at 8am and I had a 45min commute on top of that. All I can say is just get there early, for me getting there 40 min before my testing time and allowing my self to just sit in my car and drink my "test day routine" coffee really helped me lower my nerves and get in the zone so to speak.

People will say to remember that NCLEX is a safety exam and to focus on content but when I took the NCLEX, it was an information overload and constant weird phrasing of answer choices for my SATA and prioritization questions.
I passed on my first try last week with 85 questions. I just wanted to say that you can have strong foundations, but if you are unable to find and understand weird phrasing of orders/interventions between your answer choices then you’re more likely failing because of choosing the ‘technically’ wrong nursing interventions provided in your questions.
In real life, providers and other healthcare workers document patient care ambiguously. NCLEX ensures that you know how to find/understand the error between that ambiguity.

hello, my account is on hold and i think it’s due to the site having technical difficulties. i went on a 5min break and it turned into an hr due to technical difficulties…i stopped at 85 and idk my qs felt easier towards the end so i’m nervous as i’ve heard it should get harder.

i did the PVT & it brought up the hold msg but refunded me the $200 (or it disappeared from my statement) and i did it twice and it refunded (disappeared from statement) twice. idk how to feel.

Hey everyone so I took my exit Hesi exam this week and scored a 900 I did not study or even prepare for it because it is only 6% of our grade. Am I ready to take my nclex like is it a good indicator of passing the nclex ?

For those who have taken the NCLEX-RN twice did yall see some of the same content from first attempt? How different was the second attempt?

I know we've seen those troll posts about using AI and repeating the NCLEX without any form of studying. Well the other day I was at a bar and saw someone with a Upenn hoodie on and I went up to them since my brother goes to Upenn. The person said they were a nurse and on her 6th attempt on the Nclex. Naturally, I asked what their study plans were and they said "chatgpt, gemini, and other AI tools." I started to laugh since I thought it was a joke but they were dead serious. They continued to say that they were not passionate about nursing and "will pull the plug on elderly patients if they annoy them" since they are "only there for the money." They also said that they thought about pit pocketing strangers who are coding so they can get some extra cash. They continued to say that AI is failing them and they don't understand why they continue to fail on the exam.

This interaction was so concerning. I told them to look into UWorld and private tutoring from the school and they said that they fired their tutor since they didn't pass on the second time (so they resorted to chatgpt...). I asked when their next NCLEX was and they said in five days. They were on their way to a hookup after not studying all day. I genuinely thought the person posting on here was a troll ruining this subreddit, but now I'm beginning to believe people like them actually exist.
