I cannot believe how bad the healthcare system is in South Carolina for those of us in Chronic Pain who also have Anxiety Disorders and ADHD! It has literally been impossible for over 4+ YEARS NOW to find a single consistent doctor and psychiatrist and pharmacy that has been willing to treat me like a HUMAN BEING for one!

Let alone keep me on the same regimen of medications that I’ve been prescribed for 20 years that allow me to live my life and provide for my family!

This state is literally 50 years behind the Current Age, as a Doctor’s Receptionist literally just told me today!!!

I recently purchased a 4 night stay at Wyndham Towers on the Grove in North Myrtle. I was mistakingly told I would be getting a one bedroom with a queen or king size bed. After I signed the contract and paid I was later told that the room will be two full size double beds. It isn’t a huge issue if we have to stick with this set up, but it wasn’t what we wanted.

Is there a way once I get to check in to request a different bed set up? I thought about privately slipping the condo worker a monetary tip to help the process. Has anyone ever done this before with renting a vacation club from an owner?

When I first started coming to MB with my wife's family in the late 80's and up until 92-ish, he rafmily always wanted to eat at one restaurant in particular.

We would drive north on 17 and somewhere between MB and NMB we would turn left (West) onto a rod that ran at an angle so that the turn was like 130⁰

The restaurant was a little bit back off 17 and either had White in the name or was painted white as I strongly remember white.

Sunrise over the beach at Surfside this morning & the cutter suction dredge working to renourish our beaches this year. It's a needed every few years.

If you go to Charleston, there are a ton of restaurants with great food and great chefs. But I'm hard pressed to think of any restaurants along the Grand Strand that is an actual standout. Everything is just....fine. I don't know why that is.

Hello! I'm looking for restaurant recommendations in/near the Garden City Beach area that have a private room to accommodate 20-30 people. Judy Boone's was recommended by the staff where we were staying, and while it was okay for a year or two, we're looking for something a little different this year. (Also last year we had an unexpected guest at our table 🪳😬). Ideally we'd like to keep it in the $30pp price range and be able to accommodate celiac & food allergies. Thanks!

On our first visit to MB in 2010, we ate at a steakhouse at Broadway at the Beach. It was gone by our second trip in 2016. It may have been part of a small chain.

Sorry if the title seems a bit morbid. I moved here from Chicago for work/family reasons and I'm finding it a bit hard to enjoy the single life here. I don't drink really and I'm not religious so is there no other way for me to meet average women in their 30's as well? If so, when and where?

I like the area, I like the weather, and the people. But I can't see myself staying after my contract ends if it is this hard to connect/network. Does anyone else seem to have this issue? If so how did you resolve it?

I'll have a small backyard near a little lake, & a garage. I know basements aren't really a thing -- when I had one, house centipedes were frequent visitors.

Last time I lived near a beach teeny lizards were a common sight (FL so ofc gators were around too).

So, what might find its way to my garden, car, house etc?

Who might I encounter on a hike?

Any snakes or bitey fellas I should know about?

I'm in a swampy state rn, don't love the clouds of mosquitoes but I do love the many frogs! I'm sharing my balcony with a great deal of wasps & stinkbugs this summer😂 and those naughty lantern flies have started emerging
