I’m good at rhythm guitar too, and can play highly technical rhythm sections like holy wars, or unholy confessions, bark at the moon etc.
I can play some decently technical solos, like tornado of souls or Mr crowley or bark at the moon
I’ve been playing for 2 years so I wouldn’t say I’m the best player you could find but I’m definitely one of the more hardworking ones.

My music references are: Megadeth, Marty Friedman, ozzy osbourne, a7x, children of Bodom, Pantera, etc.

I saw many options, but couldn't pick between kadence fr77 and a218. And also tell me how's kadence brand guitar actually are, like their build quality, their action and all, some people are saying that their guitar are very bad, if so, please suggest me some budget friendly guitar that will work fine for 2-3 years minimum.

Hello everyone! I am a 26 year old professional from India with a background in UX, QA, BizDev, and Ops.
Given my generalist work experience, I wanted a Product Management role in tech companies like Spotify and Netflix but later realised that what I actually wanted was to be a part of the Music and Entertainment business — Label Ops and Partnerships, Production coordinator, Artist management and the likes.

I do not have any constraints. I just want to get started and work my way up. Although, I would prefer a role that gives me enough to sustain myself. To acquaint myself with the Industry, ive done an online course on music management, marketing, and PR. Im also constantly learning about the industry and keeping up with the news.

I initially thought of pursuing a music business degree but there is no way I can afford it atm. i was also told that connections matter more than a degree.

I do not reside in a city with a huge music scene so all networking from my end would be online as of now.

Should I add hypothetical projects and then approach people?

Should I start messaging people?

What kind of people should I reach out to?

I know passion alone isn’t enough to drive forward so I am trying to understand what makes people actually respond and what mistakes do first-timers like me make, especially when reaching out?

I need to talk about "Yeh Awarapan" because it has been living rent-free in my head. Even neutral listeners who aren’t hardcore fans are absolutely loving this original piece by Amaal Mallik.

Honestly, Arijit Singh’s massive comeback deserved a deeply melancholic melody just like this to showcase his vocal depth.

The backbone of this track is undeniably the legendary duo of composer Amaal Mallik and lyricist Rashmi Virag. Amaal has crafted such a haunting, atmospheric soundscape that perfectly fits the iconic Emraan Hashmi universe. Coupled with Rashmi Virag’s poetic, gut-wrenching lyrics, they have created a soul-stirring masterpiece that hits right where it hurts.

Yet, I see a lot of people criticizing it and comparing it heavily to the original Awarapan (2007) album. To me, that criticism seems totally baseless. Both of these albums stand on their own merits. Music like this takes time to breathe, and both will continue to grow on people with time.

Let’s not forget history: the first album wasn't an overnight, instant hit either. It took time, and people gradually connected with those tracks much later.

For me, this is hands-down the darkest melody of the year. It feels hauntingly beautiful and profoundly melancholic in every single note and lyric.

Arijit didn't just sing it; he completely justified the raw heartbreak of the song.

For me, music is almost like an escape. I don't necessarily listen to a song because I relate to the lyrics or because it reminds me of something from my life. A song can create a completely separate scene or imaginary universe in my head.

Basically, I don't just listen to music — I kind of enter the world the song creates. Every song can feel like a different universe, and it helps me detach from my real life for a while.

I've never been on a plane with my electric guitar before, so I looked it up. IndiGo, on their website say that "guitars, if packed in soft cases, can be carried in hand baggage."

But, will a Strat even fit in the overhead bin? If it's in a proper padded gig bag like a Fender FE620, I'm worried if there'll be enough space to keep it on an A320/A321 aircraft without the guitar getting damaged.

How do you handle the boarding rush/people shoving heavy cabin trolleys into the bins? Is laying it on top of other bags the safest move? I'm not buying an extra seat for the guitar (last resort).

If anyone has any experience or insight about this, I would greatly appreciate it.
