My wife is pregnant and we miss dancing but the late shows just aren't working for us. Looking for a nice rooftop or some outdoor party with decent house or melodic techno. Haven't danced since Movement.

Only thing I can find are these Capri parties at exodus but it doesn't really say what the music is other than people walking around with a saxophone.

We’re back with another 10-hour edition featuring several Detroit artists who have played Movement over the years. We’ll once again be taking over both the Detroit Eagle and Olympus Theater for a marathon of queer underground house and techno. As always, we’re bringing in custom sound, lighting, and immersive production to make sure both rooms are dialed in from open to close.

Seeing reports from some of the summer festivals in Europe (won't name names but IYKYK) makes me feel so fortunate to have Movement nearby every year.

So much less time waiting in lines for drinks, food, and entering the festival, the best crowd I've ever encountered year after year, unbelievable vibes, and perhaps most of all, the city of Detroit.

Of course there's a hiccup or two each year, to be expected from an event this size, but Movement is still a festival with its heart in the right place. Thanks, everyone!

2027 Electric Circus EDM Festival right here in Mid-Michigan at the Everett A. Cummings Center.

August 5th-8th, 2027

A 2-day, 3-night camping festival with a main stage- Center Ring, and two indoor stages- Big Top and Sideshow. We may not have the biggest names in the industry yet but will be looking to put on an affordable and community-centric festival that is seeking local and regional DJ talent, artists, vendors, and maybe a few of those big names we all love! 😁

This is a huge undertaking that has been in the works for almost a year now, and we are working hard to launch our website and share more information by the end of the month. I've been searching for hotels near Hart Plaza, but everything is showing unavailable. I'm not sure if I'm too early or if things are already fully booked. I stayed in a Airbnb last year, but I'd prefer a hotel for 2027. Does anyone know when hotels typically open availability for Movement weekend? Thanks in advance.

Am I crazy but did anyone else see the ticket prices jump from 405 to 438 for vip? I got interrupted trying to check out my cart and when I refreshed 5 minutes later I could’ve swore the price went up.

Update: nvrm I’m stupid I didn’t get an earlier notification for the loyalty sale and I missed those prices by literally three minutes lmao
