Is the peak of gaming mouse ends in 2023 ,...,........,,..,,..,...............,,.....................,.....

Just received a new Superstrike and I don't have any of the front heaviness most people have been reporting and nowhere near what I've seen in review videos.

The center of balance of mine is perfectly over the sensor at the narrowest point of the mouse. Logitech might have actually fixed it up with newer revisions.

Would be interested if someone else who got theirs recently could chime in.

I used to have the ultralight X and i really enjoyed it but it unfortunately broke. I want a mouse good for fps and has a software/customization. Also needs to be good for long sessions. Thanks in advance.

I've just received a R1 N(Nearlink version) and the actual mouse does not have any Nearlink wording like all the ones I saw online, although the battery size seems correct!

Is this normal? Can I check it some other way?

This is my first gaming mouse so I'm definetly a noob on this subject.

If anyone has/had this mouse tell me how it is. I had a G Pro Wireless and currently daily a G502X Plus but I want a lighter mouse again as a secondary mouse. What intrigued me to this model is the extra side button. Is it customizable and usable on onboard profile? I’d like to use it as a comm button which I usually bind to the number 9. Also wondering if all side buttons are clicky or clicky feel. I hate the mushy side buttons of the G Pro Wireless but I got a chance to try a Razer Cobra Pro at a Best Buy and I do like the clicky feeling of those side buttons and wondering if it has similar feeling to the Aula. The Trimode is also a good addition since my G502X Plus can’t do Bluetooth but it would be convenient switch to my Mac easy.

So I've got the G309 for a little bit now and I feel confident actually writing down my thoughts on it, as assorted as they are.

MSRP seems really rough, though I don't think I've seen it ever not below it. Looking on Amazon and it's pretty consistently half the price of a Superlight 1 and occasionally not even reaching 1.5x the price of a G305. The other 'clone' brands aren't super available here and they're usually priced similarly to Logitech so it's not like it's outclassed outright by them; the G305-shaped Mchose coming to mind in particular as going for GPX prices, last I checked. I also have to imagine the high price is partially motivated by the inclusion of their optical switches which don't develop the doubleclicking issue, which otherwise would've made folks buy multiple? Shrug.

Irregardless of the pricing it's got some awful things about it for sure, actually. The coating is atrociously slippery and feels like what Not Premium feels like. It's so baffling I can't tell if I'm not just missing something. Specially for the MSRP...

And the weight isn't great either and it's kinda for no reason. 60g is a barely acceptable baseline and 68g at a minimum with this mouse is worse. Now the 68g quote is pretty achievable without their proprietary Logitech wireless charging mat, with a lithium triple-A and by getting rid of the 1g plastic Powerplay placeholder and 2.5g of the magnets inside, but like... would it be so difficult to cut down on the weight of the battery holder, make the magnets easier to take off, and like, dunno, maybe include a rechargable li-ion instead of the Duracell and make the battery compartment triple-A only? Encourage folks to use the lighter weights and just cut down on all the heavy crap, which really doesn't seem to be so hard?

On the first draft I spent some time writing about the shape and how much I liked it but in reality I don't have any authority to speak about it, really. Suffice to say it's a lot like the G305's and I quite like it actually, specially if I take the (4.5g!!!) cover off so it gives a bit of breathing room between my palm and the mouse when fingertipping, and even without the cover it doesn't feel bad at all to grab onto it to claw some stability occasionally or just because fingertipping got tiresome considering the weight. I really like that it lacks the inwardly slanted sides of the G305, personally, and I don't inherently hate the bigger back specially as I can just take it off as I want to. Feels like it should be a really safe shape and decently comfy anytime, moreso than the G305's. Though I guess sometimes it does become painful how there's so curve at all where you hold your thumb; just a tad little bit would go a long way specially in claw/palm. Maybe a bit on the other side too, symmetrically.

The OEM skates are okay. More than okay maybe, some (speed) aftermarket ones didn't make that much of a difference on cloth actually, in comparison to the G305's muddy scratchy little things. However dot skates are kindof a pain in the arse to use because the skate well is way too small, only really fitting 5.5mm ones. You can sortof get away with placing four dots just above the corners of the skate wells and one sacrificial one at the far back that will bend and wear unevenly and dig awfully into cloth? Or alternatively use the OEM full skate to provide a little bit of support and scratch prevention if you roll it back? Or even put a dot on top of the OEM skate and have the mouse slanting forwards, though your mileage may vary if the sensor will be able to track or not, depends on the surface you're using it on.

Speaking of, sensor is fine I guess. It's a, what, slightly better HERO 1? With no customizable LOD or nothing? 1kHZ polling which meh, supposedly the optical switches are meant to have less latency on top of not doubleclicking but meh. Logitech's Onboard Memory Manager app refused to work until I first booted up G Hub, irritatingly. It's got profiles now, which woo, kinda nice actually for doing stuff other than gaming, though part of me wishes it had two DPI buttons to customize.

Whole review seemed negative but I don't hate the mouse at all. Shape's my favourite one so far, however much that means. Found it looked pretty. Weight isn't as bad as it could be. Being able to hotswap the battery is personally a godsend. Being able to chuck it on a bag and not deal with doubleclicking and having good wireless would've been awesome some years ago back when I used to do that regularly, and it is the cheapest optical switch mouse from Logitech. I guess I haven't quite stress tested how much of a beating it takes, and how many days enduring the dirty outside it takes-- why does it have white PFTE skates if that's what they're targeting? --though the G305 was surprisingly sturdy bar the clicks, so. As I said I use the DPI button for macros and such, same for the onboard profiles. Just... could use being a tad cheaper, could use shaving off weight, could use not having awful coating, having better focus. A better scrollwheel would be smart too, considering.

It'd be a good replacement to the G305 and its target audience and usecase(s) if the price was competitive. And it is, sometimes. Personally despite the weight I feel like I'd be hard-pressed to find a replacement, for the shape and for some of the features.

I use palm grip and my mousepad is control type and also i am gonna use Xraypad jade fast skates after i order that mouse. Need a good mouse suggestion from a valid user.

Yesterday, whilst I was sitting at my computer, my wireless mouse suddenly stopped connecting via the dongle. The mouse is fully charged and works via a cable and Bluetooth. When I plug the cable into the dongle, it flashes and the computer recognises it, but the mouse and the dongle simply won’t connect. I can’t seem to fix it at all. I’ve held down the bottom button labelled ‘Mod’ to try and start a search for the adapter, but it still won’t connect. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Specifically trying to find Canadian retailers that stock VAXEE products so I don’t have to pay more in shipping than the actual item costs.

Was looking to buy their Vaxee PD mousepad, the pad costed 50 which was fine, but the shipping itself costed an additional 40 (USD), which just seemed slightly absurd to me, not to mention other fees at customs which might apply later.

If anyone knows any local retailers or online stores, feel free to share.

I got my MAD R+ on dec. 2024 and ever since I didn't really follow what was going on the mouse scene to keep my money safe, and because i didn't really see the need since i was satisfied with my purchase. Now, i had some issues with its battery, and decided to get a new mouse and give mine to my gf (it still works wired).

I was absolutely ready to get the ATK F1 V2 Ultimate, but i saw the V3 released and saw some new tech floating around, new MCUs, 3955 sensors and all. Now I wonder what can I get for about $80/R$450? Aliexpress is preferable for my country because of taxes and convenience. Is it justified to get the V3 or just pay cheaper on the V2?

EDIT: i decided to get the F1 V2 Ultimate, the price difference here in Brazil is too big to what seems to be unnoticeable changes from what i see people saying. anyway i don't think i'll regret my decision. thank you guys :)

So i’m looking for control fullsize mouse skate currently i’m on fullsize uws magic ice fomo-ing boardzy but now i would like to seek for some control(the magic ice is great nearly no static friction at all as it is a speed skate). It would be best if the feet is equal or thicker than the magic ice fullsize maybe like 0.8mm in some youtube video i saw.

so a year ago I got a VXE R1SE+, and I was quite satisfied with its performance, especially since I got it on sale for $14. unfortunately, after a year it started having the common mouse issue of double clicking randomly sometimes. still, I feel like I got my money's worth considering how cheap it was and how much clicking I do. I've been reading around, and I get the impression that motion sync is only effective over 1000hz polling, and with higher than 144hz monitors.. Right?

I don’t know where to start. I’ve thought about buying a fingertip mouse for a while now and saw the X2F a month back.

Finally decided to make the purchase, and what a blast I’m having with this mouse.

I have to be honest I was a little scared that it just wasn’t made for my hands. But once I held it, the mouse just felt natural and I have so much freedom to move around.

This made me realise how much I would’ve loved to join the test builds for this mouse.

Howdy everyone. I enjoy corsair's scimitar mouse. But I dislike the software (icue).

Icue 4 and icue 5 don't feel user friendly and I've stuck with 3 point something something.

I purchased a new scimitar, but I found out the new ones don't work with icue 3 anymore. And after installing icue 5 I want to pull the hair out of my head from the bottom. I've seen some of the icue horror posts.

Some people mentioned trying x-moise button control. Has anyone tried it? Can I set timers with it for my 12 side buttons?

Does anyone know of any other alternatives to icue and x-mouse?

Or should I just go back to razer? Does Logitech make a comfortable mouse with a bunch of side buttons? Any other brands?

Any info would be appreciated.

I started with the original Logitech Superlight and eventually moved to the Superlight 2, and I've been using Logitech for over five years total at this point. Finally thinking about trying something different. No real budget in mind, just looking for something good.

For reference, my hand is about 18x10cm (measured with the iPhone Measure app, don't actually own a tape measure). My grip varies a bit, sometimes palm, sometimes relaxed claw.

I mainly play Valorant, if that's relevant to the recommendations.

Right now I'm using an Artisan Type99 with Obsidian skates. I like the control feel overall, but I don't think I've found the perfect setup yet, so I'm open to feet/skate suggestions as well.

One thing I'd like to avoid: mice known for lottery issues (sensor problems, switch inconsistency, etc). I really don't enjoy the return/exchange process.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have very small hands. I currently use a Logitech G705 for my computer, which is about 7 inches long and 85g in weight. I've tried using larger mouse..s? Mice? And my performance suffers because they're too large for my hand.

Any recommendations for mice about the same size? Preferably that isn't Logitech because Logitech software SUCKS.

Last month I reviewed the a5 v3 which is a good mini gpx clone if the 2c and a9 mini are too small I'm back with another review but this time with the L7 ultra+  keep in mind this unit was sent out to me by mchose but this won't affect my review what you're seeing are just my honest opinion on the mouse.

‎Shape and size - For reference my handsize is 17x10 and my grip style is relaxed claw almost like a palm grip, the size of this mouse I would say a medium size and the dimensions are similar to the x2 medium, sora v3/4k.

‎I haven't tried the x2 medium and the sora shapes but based on eloshapes the l7 ultra+ is closer to those mice. The shape of the l7 ultra+ is a combination of the x2 and sora v3 shape the main button shape of the l7 ultra+ resembles the sora it has an aggressive curvature on the edge while the x2 main buttons are rounded on the edge there are comfort grooves on the m1 and m2 but it's not deep and lastly the button has minimal wobble.

‎The side has good enough curvature it doesn't feel extremely curve but doesn't feel fully flat either the curvature is good enough to grasp a claw grip, the hump is place back-moderate not as bulbous like the za/tenz/x2h style of hump the hump of the ultra+ is remotely close to the x2/sora and it's good enough to support any claw grip style without feeling that big hump and restrictions in your hand.

‎The front slopes down gradually and the front right side is tall this is because it's a medium size mouse and my fingers are short so it doesn't drag on the mousepad. The back flare of the l7 ultra+ doesn't feel locked in like the xm2 and u2 back even though my hand proportion is weird I still have decent range of motion of this mouse.  The way I grip the l7 ultra+ is my thumb is place on the  front side button and I just roll my thumb so I can press the back side button, index and middle finger is almost flat on the m1 and m2 arch a little bit forming a relaxed claw, ring finger is straight and my pinky curls aggressively and sits at uncomfortable spot on the back flare forming a big C gap between the ring and pinky this is bad for me because i like my ring and pinky close to each other and I'm not used to this size  this could be one of my favorite shapes if mchose sent me right model the l7 ultra instead of the  l7 ultra+

‎Build quality - The build quality on my unit is rock solid I can't get this mouse to flex and I don't hear a creaking sound pressing from the bottom, top, and sides are well built 10/10

‎Software - you can use the desktop software or the web based software but I recommend using the web based so you can save space on your desk but yeah the web based is very simple and easy to use.

‎Coating - coating is a glass type coating and not rubberized compared to my top end mice even though it's not rubberized the mouse coating is premium it sticks to my skin when my hands are sweating it doesn't stick when my hands are dry tho. I have the black color and it's a fingertip magnet meaning sweat and oil build up is noticeable on black color.

‎Main buttons and side buttons - they're light, spammable, and rebounds quickly, minimal pre and post travel on m1 and m2 the sound of the main buttons are pingy if I'm just pressing it normally and pressing the buttons aggressively i hear a hollow thocky sound. Overall it's good but I'm not a fan of the sound I prefer a clicky, tactile, crunch sound like my superlight 2c.

‎Side buttons big fan of the side buttons it's clicky and tactile no mushy feeling unlike the a5 v3 and there is no wobble on the side buttons.

‎Scroll wheel and middle mouse button - the scroll wheel encoder on the l7 ultra+ has very defined steps you can feel each steps on the wheel and the wheel needs a little effort when scrolling up and down.

‎Middle mouse button is heavy to actuate it reminds me of the zowie middle mouse button overall I like the scroll wheel encoder and the middle mouse button of the L7 ultra+ I'll give it a 10/10.

‎Skates and sensor - skates glides fast out of the box and is consistent on my cloth pads the l7 ultra+ skate is better than the a5 v3 I mentioned on my review the a5 v3 skates is weird it doesn't glide smoothly on some of my pads but with this mouse no issues.

‎The sensor is the Pixart 3950 sensor no issues here I heard some 3950 had dpi downshift issue but with my time if testing this mouse never I encountered any sort of problems.

‎Battery life - this is where the l7 ultra+ shines the battery life last longer than I expected at first the battery sits at 53% and now currently battery life is 50% now keep in mind the battery life will depend on your polling rate and how much time you spend on your computer I don't play faceit or matchmaking in cs2 anymore just cs2 dm and matchmaking retake to collect my  daily rewards and after that I switched to the Bluetooth to further last the battery life.

Highly recommend.

50g, 8K polling, 48K DPI and the receiver included. Satisfying scroll wheel with a knurled surface. Side buttons a bit plasticy but for the price range and spec it’s okay. Been using it for CS2 for last two week and I can confirm you need a high end mouse to improve you skills. (I’m too lazy to type of the rest of the specs. ps they are some of the best)

Allegedly a 3D demo for a private event in Korea to test side buttons and scroll wheel position, the shape should be that, though. A small fingertip grip mouse.
