I bought a Insta360 ONE R 4K, what accessories I need to use it with my helmet

30-odd degrees C in London - needed to get that airflow going!

Breakfast was ok, could have done without the insects, then the pub was closed when I needed a cold drink - turns out all I needed was the road!

Has anyone tried (successfully) to use the Insta360 Luna or the DJI Osmo Pocket as a motovlogging camera? Mounted on a motorcycle in some way? How did it (or is it) work out?

Has anyone had any luck blocking all the information shown on the clocks? I know all motorcycle displays are different. I am just trying to block anything that is on that display from showing up while I'm shooting with my camera. I have seen people in post-blur in the video, their speed. I was just wondering if there is a physical screen/film that can be put on your clock so you can see it clearly while riding, but the camera shows nothing.

Sometimes all you need is a little green on the map to start an adventure.

This weekend, I picked a spot far away from Hyderabad and just went for a ride. The roads were calm, the weather was perfect, and somewhere along the way I found myself at an unknown hill right as golden hour was setting in.

More than 60 km on peaceful roads, cool air, and a sunset that made every kilometer worth it.

had some time to cruise around last weekend. took my old GoPro session, put a microphone on the backseat, and recorded a ride - prepping for winter a little, so i have kind of a substitute drug 😅

Are any DJI Action users motovlogging without Rocksteady? I have tried it and don't hate the results.

I want to have motion blur without pulsing. I'm aware that you can use a slightly higher framerate like 100 in order to have a little motion blur with less/no pulsing. All of these things are a matter of preference, and I'm not really looking for solutions to this issue.

I just want to hear from people who are not using Rocksteady for whatever reason.

The cool air made the weekend ride better. Somewhere along the way, those dark clouds led me to The Waters - a peaceful lake that made every kilometer worth it.

I've started my youtube channel, but since I'm not a native english speaker - I'm wondering if my speach is understandable and overall if it make sense for me to make motovlogs on non-native leanguage.

My storage space is somewhat limited, and I am trying to figure out what/if I should delete to save and make space. I have unedited source video files from a GoPro in the typical resolution I take and upload in, and in low resolution. The GoPro saves both. I also have the finished edited video files as well. The low resolution files don't really take up much space, so deleting them wouldn't do much, but saving them also doesn't do much because I don't think I would use them if I wanted or needed them for additional content. If I wanted to watch the finished video I can always pull it up wherever I posted it, but if I wanted to use the footage again there would be quality loss from the download and re-editing. Or if something happens to the content such as account removal, video taken down, or random technology glitch. I could just re-export the finished file though, provided I save the source files and the project file. I'm one of those people that doesn't like to get rid of anything useful though because you never know when you might reference it or need to look back on something. Realistically that isn't an option though due to limited storage space. So my options if I am considering everything are -

A - Save source files and delete finished videos.

Allows me to export the finished video again if I needed. Saves medium space.

B - Delete source files and save finished videos.

Allows me to keep finished video as a backup. Saves the most space.

C - Delete everything.

What are the odds I'll actually look through or need any of this again anyways?

For reference, the video style and content will mostly be long (1+ hour) backroad pov.

I’m not too sure how to explain it, but anytime I make/post a video, I always feel my camera quality is not a great as other posts I see.

I drive myself crazy messing with the settings on my DJI 5 and color grading.

I would like to hear what your first thoughts are when it comes to the picture quality. I’ve added a link to a reel I created yesterday.

Update from anyone interested. My issue was too much exposure to when recording. I was already running an nd32 filter with manual exposure, but apparently the San Diego sun was too much for it. I went out and bought an nd64 just to see what would happen and I think it fixed most of my issues. Here’s a link to the new footage:

Insta360 mic pro, ace pro hero 2, shoei rf-1400.

I'm on a naked bike with a big windscreen, so I'm aware I won't be able to fully eliminate the wind noise. Just trying to find a good balance between my voice, wind noise and exhaust sound.

It is very tedious trying to change the settings each time and test a video, it's honestly going to take hours so I was hoping for help on here. I do have a computer so I'm able to post edit.

Issue I'm having now is either my voice is too quiet or it's too loud and Poppy if I use the voice focus one...

Also not sure if I should have the microphone pointing up or down in my helmet I have the chin skirt on of course.

The best part about riding after the rain is knowing two things. Your bike is going to get dirty, and it's going to be one of the most peaceful rides you'll have. Yet you still head out to enjoy every second of the cool air, wet roads, and the light drizzle.
