Been using the PTV Alert app for a while, but saw it cost money after a month and since I've been looking for a coding project to work on I decided to make my own :)
I have added some features that will hopefully also make the app easier to use like:

- Making reports tied to stops (tram, train, bus), so you can see where reports are

- A route view so you can see every report on the stops along it

- Also loading in reports from the Facebook page into the app

Would be keen to hear people's opinions and ways to improve it for the future asw.

Hiii guys I have so many questions since this is my first time doing an e-exam at home. It's for SCI1020.

Firstly, how is it monitored? Do I need to have my camera on or is my screen recorded, and if so how is this done? Im asking this cause my laptop currently does not have a working camera, the slider got glued shut by my brother when he was pranking me (too far i know), also are we allowed to blur our background???).

Secondly, does my microphone need to be on all the time (i assume we are in a call with a supervisor, as per others have said in this reddit page)?

Also my exam looks like it requires some sort of working out for some questions and the actual exam a few weeks ago required students to submit pages of working out to be awarded full marks? How is this done in an online setting at home? (I assume they give us time at the end to send working out as other redditors have said on previous posts, just checking thoo!)

Finally, how do we join??? Will an email be provided to us with the webex info or something (also what site will we be using so ik what to download or does it vary between classes?).

i have just received an offer for my masters program in Monash Australia at the home campus (Clayton). my intake is for feb-mar 2027. i have to pay a deposit to accept the offer which i want to take a loan for but i also want to take a loan for the rest of the tuition fees. however, when im applying for the loan, i need the payment schedule which is not written in the acceptance letter. any idea where i can get it?

i have a practical class from 12 to 2 but right after i have a def/sup exam. i live 1.5 hours from campus and have commitments right after the exam so i won’t be able to attend the prac class. is this a valid reason or do i have to attend? (eng1012) i’ve considered emailing the team to ask if i can take a leave or join another class for that week but i am unsure what to do.

Hi, currently I'm a sem 2 student as of July 2026 and I would like to transfer to the clayton campus in sem 1 of 2027. That means I would be sem 3 of my degree. My degree is Bachelor of Computer Science in Data Science.

When I looked at previous patterns, I noticed that the applications for campus transfer to Australia open earlier, around the time after allocate+ closes. Does that mean that they will use my Sem 1 results? My W.A.M after sem 1 is 81.25%. (that should be enough to transfer right)

Does any1 know when the applications for sem 1 2027 will open and also can any1 give me a more detailed process of how to apply? The monash website was quite vague about it as they lumped together with the internal course transfers.

I chose to study business because I didn’t know what I wanted to do coming out of high school. Now I know I want to study law but I’m not sure if I will be able to transfer course. Anyone have advise or what I should do? And will it help if I put law subjects in my elective space or should I do subjects that would boost my WAM.

I'm trying to get into postgrad med at monash, currently first year student doing a bachelor of science. I know most places are reserved for biomed students, so realistically what wam do i need to maintain to get a chance as a bsci student? I didn't do too well in sem 1 but i'm really dedicated to studying hard this sem.

hi guys i’ve transferred into second sem (first year) eng and im confused on which units to choose, ive chosen eng1014, eng1013, eng1011 and eng1005. Are those right? also i didnt do spec in high school so im not sure if im meant to be in 1005, should i be in mth1020 instead?? i did mth1010. pls help
