The roof's lit up so no mobs spawn on top, the light level inside the structure is 0, it's 100 blocks off of the ground. But no mobs are spawning.

I am trying to make a farm for these guys on minecraft bedrock. I blocked all the spawning spots with quartz blocks. But they just soawn in other places. Im on bedrock education. Why are they still spawning?

Decided to build a gold farm in my base, got everything set up. Both portals 21x21, snow buckets for max speed, shut-off switches for the observers, and another to ensure the portals are off when the machine turns off. I also got the trident killer and item sorter set up... and to top it off, I have built this thing at least 10 times now... I know it like the back of my hand...

Turned it on for a quick test... runs perfectly, everything is working as it should... but I don't see piglins, not a single one. I checked to make sure the portal was aligned right; everything should be working. But apparently, building your portal starting at Y -6 will prevent piglins from spawning... after doing my research, I found out you have to build them above Y 0 or piglins don't spawn from the portal...

So now I have around 90 blocks of Obsidian and a redstone contraption to remove and replace 6 blocks higher... 😭

Edit: its actually 7 blocks higher... you know what, lets just make 8.

Dawg I followed a YouTube shorts tutorial that I will link below on how to make a sugarcane farm, I followed everything exactly except instead of sand I used mud because the comments said mud was better and the hitbox would allow the sugarcane to drop in the hoppers, everything works except the fact that my minecart doesn't move back and forth and the sugarcane drops don't go through the mud, How can I fix this? I'm on Bedrock and on a server with friends, I did this in survival

whats weird is; it has been able to spawn golems while in the process of building it! when i finished building it it was able to spawn 2 more golems and function correctly but since then its been radio silence. i dont know why all the sudden it stopped working? im on java edition, please help!

So I spent like 30 minutes earlier typing a huge post in the form of a tutorial. However, I wasn't finished when I had to do something else, so I hit the back button and clicked save. Upon coming back to my post, it was gone. I tried it one more time to confirm, and sure enough, it erased my post again. Has anyone else had this issue? Is this just a bug with this subreddit or is it intended behavior?

I used an iron farm that used the villager gossiping mechanic to spawn golems, and it was a bit slow and used too many villagers so I wanted to change it up and build pods with a zombie to scare them, and it works but I wanted to make sure they're not too close before I built them all. If they are too close, how many blocks should I move them back by? (Sorry for the not so great picture.) The pods are just the classic iron farm design but on the ground, 3 villagers zombie in the middle.

Sugarcane only grows next to water, so I wanted to find the densest possible layout for a given plot. Used a solver to get the provably best water placement.

Results on a square plot:

• Standard pattern everyone uses: 66.7% density
• Optimal layout: 75.3% density (~13% more cane in the same space)

Honest trade-off: it only optimizes for space/density. The standard pattern is still easier to build and automate with observers. The optimal layout has irregular water placement that breaks clean row harvesting. Might work with slime flying machines but I haven't tested it.

Where it's actually useful is weird-shaped or obstacle-filled plots where there's no standard pattern to fall back on.

built it by ReytGood's guide on youtube when I climb the ladder i get the raid omen effect and by the end of it the raid healthbar fills up and after filling up it disappears leaving no raiders behind what did I do wrong?

I'm mass producing carrots using villager slavery and alternating crops increases the speed of the growing speed but it also cuts the carrot production by half since it takes up half the space, so is it really worth it? I wanna know which one makes the most cps (carrots per second), if i have just one 9x9 square, should i alternate or just do carrots?

As a java player, I've been forced to play bedrock by my bedrock friend, and he wants me to build an armadillo-silverfish infestation exp farm, which, is a bit of a problem since sweeping edge literally does NOT exist on bedrock, so how do i do the armor stand thingy if i don't have sweeping edge?

Have a mega build in my survival world, looking to get 1344 stacks of quartz blocks. Have calculated that mining it would be 60 hours of work. The gold farm I built would take 1000 hours of AFK (to then trade with piglins). Any other ideas? Is there a better gold farm or an alternative method? Is there a villager alternative? Thanks!

What are some good farms to make on donut smp right now? I don't want to make any more basalt farms because they kept getting found after less than a day. I am looking to make around 10 mil per hour.

I have built this iron farm and done everything right according to video even put zombies beneath but it still isn't working the golem either spawn outside or don't even spawn only one has spawn in chamber

If a hopper minecart transports 20 items a second, could i put like 100 to make it over 1000 items a second? but even if i could, can i make the hopper minecart go directly to a chestso that it doesnt clog any hoppers?

A week ago I build Ilmango's moss farm (2 modules) using litematica. It has worked properly for a week, aside from the regular unloading issues I solved with a chunk loader. Today the right side stopped creating moss - the dispenser and pistons all fire, but no moss is created. The underside of the farm has all the glass from the schematic, moss spreads when the block is manually bonemealed, and both sides are contained in the same chunk. Occaisonally when I clear the grass/azalea/moss carpet on top of the seeder moss block, then turn it on, the first bonemeal will work, but won't continue.

I cant seem to stop raid mobs from spawning inside the villager pod.. I dont know what to do to stop it.

The pod has a bed and composter.. both of them are covered with leaves. And the villager is standing on a pressure plate. And theres only a 1x2 area above the plate for the villager. Everything else is covered with leaves.. but still they will spawn inside and kill my villager...

Sometimes I can run the farm 10 times without failure but every so often ill get 5/6 mobs spawn on the pressure plate. Or maybe they are spawning on the wood blocks below the bed? I have no idea!!

I'm making a bamboo farm which uses bonemeal and i want the dispenser to stop when its empty so i have a comparator design that takes the back and side, but when i try putting a hopper on top to you know, put bonemeal in the dispenser, the bamboo falls inbetween the hoppers and i cant use another side cause every side is already used up, please help what can i do? ( Java )
