so im not a main but in aram mayhem once, i had a milio teammate that was healing the team BUT damaging anyone (including teammates) outside his heal.
i cant seem to figure out how it happened but he ended up killing me. Even in chat apologized. i dont mind but i cant figure out how it happened and its been months at this point
is there an item or maybe augment that does this?

Am I missing something here? IMO, Helia feels pretty underwhelming on Milio.
But when I look at OTP builds and even pro play, they still prioritize Helia quite consistently. I’m trying to understand why that is.
Curious to hear other opinions on this.

Based on a sentiment I've seen echoed quite often, and my own experience, I think people in low elo see "enchanter", and just think "medic".
In reality, Milio is alot more effective for his utility and sustain than just his base healing, which is pretty negligible compared to some others. He's basically a walking extra item for your allies.
Depending on the comp, your build can offer quite substantial buffs to your team:
Passive:
Applies to you and ally for 4 seconds
Deals 15% of ally's AD as bonus magic dmg
Burns for 20% of Milios AP over 1.5 sec
Ardent Censer:
+25% attack speed and +20 magic dmg on hit for 6 seconds
Staff of Flowing Water:
+40 AP and +15 ability haste for 6 seconds
Moonstone:
Chains the effects to another ally
W:
Applies passive and procs items multiple times over duration
Gives allies up to +20% attack range
E:
Procs passive & items
Gives ally up to +40% move speed for 2.5 seconds with 2 stacks
R:
Procs passive & items
Cleanses CC
Gives allies +65% tenacity for 3 seconds
Milio does not have mana problems after item 1 and builds a ton of ability haste, so you're able to basically spam apply all these buffs to your team. This in theory allows your team to play proactively rather than reactively, especially mid-late game.
I am of the opinion most people at low elo (cough cough, ADCs) don't even recognize the buffs you're applying and just think that when they do well, they're just the best ever, and when they don't, it's supp diff. The amount of times I've seen someone complain about Milio having low kills is wild to me. Like fr? With 25+ assists you're gonna say supp diff cause I only have like 1-2 kills, if any at all? Crazy.
I consistently have +2 vision score per minute, not randomly dying, roam well, using my champ effectively, and I still can't seem to climb out of bronze. (I am also aware I'm not the next challenger prodigy, but I feel like I have a pretty solid understanding of the game and how the role should be executed)
TL;DR
All of this to ask, at what rank do players stop seeing you as a "heal bot" and start to take advantage of the buffs you're providing? Is it even worth playing this champ I love so dearly until higher ranks?

Whats everyones current best build? Ive just started maining and was building echoes first as u.gg suggests but a lot of comments here are saying that is bad?

I strongly advise you give it a shot. I don't think it's groundbreaking by any means, but it's fun to mess around with. It probably works best with shurelya, but I'm still testing it out. Also, I'm quite sure I didn't optimize the build path for jack.
Edit: also also, let me know how you think it can be improved.

Title.
Now, I'm currently in gold III, and I understand it's not the best representation of what's good or not, BUT, I've picked opposition instead of dream maker for the past 10 or so game, paired with either Aery or guardian, depending on the situation.
What can I say except the item feels great. In most games, I feel like being able to take a few extra hits for your teammates is far more useful than the nerfed maker buff.
For the sake of completeness, my "standard" build path is: any combination of staff, censer, shurelia, Mikael, topping it off with moonstone and dawncore.
Has anybody else switched to opposition? Or do you think it's only good because of my Elo? Please let me know your thoughts :)

So today I saw some leak for the summer skins coming out on wildrift and once again there wasn't a single mention of my boy.
Milio has been in wildrift for a year now and still they refuse to give him a second skin, meanwhile champs that came after him are getting their second or third, and before people say he isn't doing great there I literally checked the teir list and he's doing great he's even above champs getting these skins like Morgana literally got 2 skins last year and this year. Vladimir is getting a prestige of a skin line he was already in last year.
And Milio is practically super easy to give skins to, so I just don't get it. Why does wildrift neglect him?

Crazy game, we had three inhabs down at one point and they had baron, and we still managed to defend and ace.

Highest KDA/KP I've ever had; I know the elo isn't the highest but love this little guy. La Familia is STRONG

Just wanted to share this funny clip where I stole a dragon with a Milio auto attack. Gold elo is a beautiful place....

I have been playing ARAM mayhem a lot as of recent and picked Milio up for fun, and the champions playstyle appeals to me a lot, however.. how exactly does his W work? I noticed it interacts with Moonstone, yet his healing ticks do not seem to be impacted by hs power. The healing ticks are accounted for revitalize, yet scale much stronger with AP instead of proper support items. Is this intended or a bug?

hello
does anyone know if there are any new milio skins planned? and for when?
is there a oficial way to request a skin directly to riot? whats the likelihood that they actually listen?
with the soccer world cup coming, it seems like a soccer skin with a bunch of chromas would sell well!
how about at least ONE fierce looking skin? all of the other goofy-ish, cute-ish champs have their “serious” skins. would really like to see the favor extended to milio!

https://u.gg/lol/support-tier-list?rank=master_plus
still early but as of now Milio has just a 48.01% WR in Master+. He was at about 49.3% last patch which is still not amazing but much better than now. Hes 40/47 supports and is in danger of entering the sub 48% zone which would borderline make him non-viable in high elo.
are we worried about this? Why is his WR so terrible?

If the opposing team has many champions that can one-shot my ADC or myself, what do you think about Locket of the Iron Solari as a second or third item? I've tried it a few times and it seemed logical to me; it works well against assassins, especially since the item has already received a buff. Is this a troll, or is it a viable option?

hola fuemigos!
ever since imperial mandate’s rework and support item adjustments were announced, i’ve been theory crafting some new milio builds. he wasn't that affected by the enchanter item nerfs in the end, but i've still been having fun trying out the reworked imperial mandate.
i've come to share some screenshots of my most successful trial and some thoughts:

and a look at the runes

and now for some closing thoughts on the build and runes:
it's a little build that definitely needs more testing, but i've been having fun with it!
anyways, that's all i had to share! thanks for reading, until next time milios! ❤️
