Got those chairs for free, trying to find the exact model but can't find anything. Also, I wanted to switch the color to green fabric or black leather, can I just unscrew everything and staple fabric over the actual white leather ? Thank you :)

I recently bought this Noguchi coffee table from a random secondhand shop in Sweden. It was sold as an original Vitra for 9,000 SEK.

It has:
~20 mm thick glass
Approx. 126 × 90 × 40 cm (measured quickly)
Very heavy
No visible Vitra etching or label
One loose locating pin in the base (see photos)
Does this look like an authentic Vitra or a high-quality reproduction?

Has anyone seen original Vitra tables without markings? How can I know for sure if this is fake or the real deal?

I rescued this lovely thing from a storage unit. There was also a Nessen mushroom lamp, which I was able to authenticate, so it seems reasonable to me that this might be genuine as well. Unfortunately I have been unable to find any definitive markings on this to confirm its maker. The base says “SK MADE IN TAIWAN”. Also it has a pull chain, whereas all the Harlee Tulips I’ve seen have turn knobs, but it’s possible it was rewired/altered at some point. Any help would be appreciated!

I've had this pub table and stools for several years (paid $1000 about 15 years ago at auction) but need the space for additional kitchen cabinets.

I'm thinking about posting them locally but have no clue about what the market value may be on these. I am not looking to run anybody over the coals. Just a reasonable market estimated price.

Any guidance is appreciated. Location is in middle TN between Nashville and Knoxville. I suspect that geography does matter in pricing.

Got some new (to me) leather seating in the Eames lounge chair and a Crate and Barrel Whyte sofa.

Really comfortable, good for minimizing dog fur, and really elevated the look of the rest of the space!

I recently found these two vintage cantilever chairs for next to nothing on Facebook marketplace. I believe they are Mart Stam S34 chairs, or at least a really excellent knock-off. However, the leather is in awful condition.

I’m looking for advice on cleaning and repairing the damaged leather (shown in the photos), or whether it’s a better idea to reupholster them entirely. Is the current leather beyond saving? I don’t really care about value/resale, as I plan to keep these for personal use after restoration. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Here is the lamp and also the base. I’ve never seen an arc lamp stand on a base like that. I’m trying to decide if what the seller is asking for is reasonable.

Has anyone had any luck with peel and stick mcm style wall papers? I’m looking to use one in my kitchen as a backsplash until I’m ready for tile (just finished remodeling 90% of the house and have to wait a bit).

Most of what I find has kind of struck me as tacky, not quite hitting the way I’d like.

So I lucked into what I have identified as a "John Kean for Brown Saltman" desk for $75 this week. I have never owned anything remotely like this - it's replacing the desk I bought in undergrad & have had for the last ~15 years. Overall it's in pretty perfect condition, though it was actively used by the one prior owner, a college professor.

Mostly I'm wondering what the best choices are for maintenance, cleaning & care of the contact points along the drawer handles and desktop edges. I don't have any interest in stripping or refinishing, the patina is perfect as-is really. Any advice is welcome!

I picked up this chair for a song the other day and I'm looking to authenticate it as a Saarinen for Knoll Model 72 executive chair, as it no longer has a tag or other markings. I believe it has the original Cato upholstery and I'd love to know the pattern/fabric name.

I am torn between these two options. A is a walnut and B is an oiled oak. Typically walnut is quintessential MCM, but the oiled oak is actually a richer and darker tone. Would love some feedback because I’m absolutely torn. For reference, it will be on a 25 foot x 8 foot wall. I also provided a picture of the floors for reference which are a light oak.

So older home we’re trying to add a more mid century feel to match our feel.

We’re looking a building a bookshelf to replace the white one with something more like the article Mysen and a new coffee tablew.

This leave the room itself we’re looking for some inspiration built ins next to the fireplace was thinking something like either of these ai images but what’s some other options. Was even thinking a more plywood panel than the acoustic.
