Music/songs about mescaline, peyote, and San Pedro?
Looking for some songs about the sacred plants!

Happy to announce that the online checklist is back. There is a link to it in the main TEK.
https://wiki.dmt-nexus.me/CIELO
We have worked together to track expected yield in the extraction section based on the mass of EA added and recovered in each pull.
Hope you enjoy, and feedback welcome đ Don't forget that you can share your yield data (plant type, parts used, growing conditions, stress conditions if any, etc.) to give back to the community.

Weâre implementing a new rule regarding AI generated content.
AI tools are not banned here but Whatâs required is disclosure.
If you use ChatGPT or any other AI tool please cite it as a source. âE.g ChatGPT helped sort this data and create this graph.â
That does not mean itâs okay to post an AI dissertation and say âGemini said thisââŠno one whatâs to have a conversation with your chatbot with you as the middleman.
Things like Proofreading, spellcheck, correcting grammar, sorting data, building graphs and proposed formats for experiments with an AI tool is not a problem. These people naturally cite there Ai tool when using it, and you should too.
The issue is when someone posts a long, AI generated posts/comments and/or presents it as their own expertise. It becomes a bigger issue when they deny AI use after being asked. Itâs also a problem when someone drops AI responses into a thread but canât explain, defend, or reason through what was posted.
If you post something, you should be able to explain it in your own words and stand behind it. Using AI as a tool is fine. Using AI to represent knowledge that you donât have is, as cringey as Stolen valor.
So If AI generated content is posted without disclosure, if someone represents knowledge they do not possess, or if there is clear âstolen valorâ of expertise, the content will be removed.
**The disclaimer here is that itâs going to be up to the mods to determine if the post/comment is breaking the rule⊠we are human some will be missed, and some may be mistakenly removed**

Now, I'm not an expert. I read a few of LSDuck666's posts about his extractions, and wanted to replicate them. I failed twice. I then turned to the forbidden resource (AI) for helping me understand the variables at play and why my extractions didn't work well. When I say didn't work well, I ended up with gloopy snot that was too thick to filter. It did dry into a dark powder and is psychoactive, but it's nowhere near as pretty as LSDuck666's crystals.
So, with the help of AI, I dug into what's going on behind the scenes and what I did wrong. First let's understand what cactus is made up of. Assuming you've got a dry powder with no water, what you've got is a few percentage points of alkaloids (mescaline, hordenine, others), a lot of polysaccharides (plant sugars) and some fibrous material (the stuff you can actually filter out).
The first thing to understand is why you get a gloopy mess in the first place. This happens because heat and acidity over time break down polysaccharides (a kind of plant sugar) into starch, and this starch makes the water thick. You can't filter polysaccharides out once they break down. This is what will make your mixes too thick to filter - the dissolved polysaccharides.
Now, if you heat up this gloopy mess, it will get thinner and easier to filter. So that helps. But the best thing is to not end up with a gloopy mess in the first place. How do we do that? What levers do we have?
It turns out that one big lever is not too much acidity and not for too long. You see, I read LSDuck's recipe. He calls for like one teaspoon of vinegar. I was like, no way that's enough, and basically free handed it. Added a few tablespoons at least to less than a quart of water. Now, vinegar is useful, because alkaloids are more soluble in an acidic solution, but the downside is that this breaks down polysaccharides too. The key then is to limit vinegar exposure - use less of it, and it's going to be better to do multiple shorter pulls than one long 24 hour pull. The more time the plant matter is sitting in the vinegar solution, the more the polysaccharides break down, and the more gloopy it becomes. You could even do your first pull with no acidity at all - apparently alkaloids are soluble in water, they just aren't very soluble in water. So, you will need vinegar for complete extraction, but you can minimize it to minimize gloopiness.
The other thing you can do, after extracting it, is to use alcohol to precipitate the dissolved polysaccharides out of solution. Now I haven't tested this myself, but apparently if you add 95% alcohol (remember to use food grade please) to your solution to get the alcohol concentration to at least 60%, you can precipitate a lot of (but not all of) the dissolved polysaccharides out of the alcohol. So, you can then filter this, the polysaccharides stay behind and what you're left with is a water-alcohol solution with less polysaccharides which you can then dry.
I hope this helps. Again, I'm not the expert but I hope this can demystify the process for some of us and help us to develop better teks. Yes, you can use cielo, I know, but I'm too scared to use those chemicals (and my wife would kill me). So I'll stick to basic extractions, and try to get those as good as possible.
I really don't see why anyone would make a tea anymore. You can end up with a much more concentrated dry powder that is pretty easy to capsule. Even with my recent attempt which really wasn't great, I was able to make capsules from it, two of which I could feel something from (raw material was not great).

Did ceilo with 100g of cactus powder I did use citric acid was warned against it thought it would be fine though unfortunately learned the hard wayđ this is after 2 hours on the mag stirrer is it recoverable? If so how would I do so? This is my first extraction so please bear with me thanks in advance

Is there any other solovent I can use instead of ethyl acetate because in California you canât buy it any more I just went to three stores and all three told me they had to pull it from shelves

Saw jesters, aliens, geometry, it went on and on and on.
Very similar to lsd and mushrooms, at that dose. Dont feel the need to take it again. I prefer lsd ans mushrooms.
It has a therapeutic effects on the nerves i found, and also i had vivid recall of my life, memories.
Theres so much more to say. I didnt write down much. Didn't feel like it this time.
But the experience was extreme. The ufo hallucinations were very very intense. I usually see that on mushrooms and acid also. More of that.
This time I came up with a diabolical alien theory, though. How the ufo destroyed the dinosaurs and waited for a suitable specimen to train. Its a pretty interesting theory.

Why do we need to dry to make cactus powder and then we need to add water again.
Canât we just blender (doing so freeing the water from the cell walls)the cactus and add only slaked lime until the target ph is reached?

hey guys quick question. do you believe 50ug acid dose, will reduce the mescaline (500+mg) effects 6 days before the trip????

I used cielo tek. The pachanoi produced needle crystal, but TBM B was obtained as a white powder. Dose this mean mescaline in pachanoi is purer than in TBM B?

I think I came across a pach while walking with my girlfriend, could someone please confirm? Working on gaining familiarity with id'ing.
This house had a yard that would make the euphorbiaciae sub go crazy, there were a handful more of giants like the ones in the background of the first pic, and a large variety of smaller species as well- all looked happy and even saw some blooms I've never seen before.
Location is Oakland, CA.
Edit: thanks for the confirmation everyone :)

Chemistry friends help me understand.
My question is if you do not have a mag stir plate but were to vigorously shake or swirl EA with 1 tbsp washing soda and 1 tsp water wouldnât you get a very similar result and not require the the table salt step?
If the reaction takes only seconds to minutes this seems like it could be easily achieved.
Is it the level of agitation or the ability to test ph?

I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I have a tight work schedule and have to wake up at 3:30 AM. I have some synthetic mescaline and it will be my first time. I'm planning on taking it as soon as I wake up on Saturday morning (since I have the weekend off) and starting my journey then. Will it mess me up? I have chamomile tea and melatonin on standby

So ive done mescaline once before, was very mild, just felt a slightly elevated mood and coloured seemed a little more saturated, Ive done shrooms a number of times, i got given some shroom chocolate roughy one gram total, just wondering if any of yall have combined these before and what your experiences was, I have some cactus left, enough for double the dosage of my last trip
