I smile every time I see him. Bro filled me with so much morale to save humanity for a fictional war.

SJ Redux was my first SMT game ever and it has a special place in my heart. Both do, and it is easily one of my all-time favorite games despite its flaws. It’s a wonderful experience and the New Neutral Ending is one of my all-time favorite endings period. Putting aside that it’s literally the Doom 64 ending which is great, the idea that a normal soldier ascended while maintaining his humanity to be a guardian of humanity is wonderful. Next time we see him he’s on the 7th iteration of the Schwarweltz and still going. Alex is probably long dead and he’s still doing it for her. So I’m curious, what are all of your favorite endings and why do you like them?

I just finished SMT2 in Chaos ending, will do the Neutral one since it seems more "complete" gameplay-wise. Normally, I just do the neutral ending since it allows me to do all bosses (except for Strange Journey so far, so I did all 3 in one playthrough) and it's the one that I agree the most in every game I played, then check the other endings on YouTube. But in SMT2 I actually felt like going for the Chaos one because it was the alignment I felt more attached to. I don't mind doing more than one ending per playthrough, but sometimes it does get kind of exhausting, and I feel like I'm doing it more because of the full experience rather than pure fun. I intend to start If... soon and I heard it got 4 routes which actually show changes throughout the entire playthrough rather than the late game. Which ones should I do? Also, do you recommend actually going for more than one ending in one playthrough in the franchise or is it just kinda exhausting for anyone else sometimes?

Scanned by one Random Hoo Haas and then the rest of the things done by me.
This chapter was only released in a very specific issue of a magazine and was never seen again. I only learnt about it from reading through the Japanese wiki page for Ronde. So this is spooky lost media, or was, I doubt any of those channels will cover it because it's not a kid's show, sadge.

Great song though. Feels like it would fit SMTIV better. Especially if we could drive a car. Yoko would hate it though.

Does this count as studying for my medical exam question mark.
Song I stole the lyric from:
Technique of Relief by Susumu Hirasawa
"Michael what do you mean by skills of cells, how would that fit to the Demifiend?" His magatama is fused to his central nervous system, it's directly responsible for handling his every mutated cell, his every gained skill, his every command to pursue further power. The magatama overtook a huge responsibility to be able to uplift it's host.

After my second playthrough I’ve finally got them all 😁😁😁…
What is your favourite Magatama? And how long did you guys need to get them all?

Their uniforms took me HOURS to create especially Jimenez's due to him having an open collar... I've done those before but it's extra difficult when it goes up to the neck and the clothing you're designing has NO neck!!
I had to sacrifice a row of padding on everyone's Demonicas (rows of 3, rather than 4) so I'm bummed out about that... Luckily it still looks pretty nice(?) So much referencing was involved, and I wanted to make the Demonica as accurate as possible ❤️
Try not to mind the minor coloring errors on the face paint, they're very finnicky and tend to only look good in certain lighting ☹️☹️

This is one of the best scenes in megaten.

Im currently playing SMT Strange Journey for the 3ds, and I am loving it, but i’ve heard it is a different experience if you follow the additional plot line that they’ve added.
For my first run I want to be able to play the original plotline as it was intended originally, but I honestly have no Idea as to what parts are from the original story and what aren’t
if there is any way to know without any spoilers I would appreciate it! 💪

I'm not sure how often people do this or whether they just fish for a particular ending, but I'm trying to play SMTVV relatively naturally. I want to get both endings at some point, but I find it cool as a philosophical exercise.
I seem to be basically borderline neutral so far. I lean Law now, but sliding with Anansi made me neutral, at least if the map is correct.
I never really save scummed before, but seeing the alternative result made me think. I felt so much for Anansi about how African gods have fallen to the wayside, how Africa continues to be exploited by imperialist powers, and I'm genuinely surprised to see this brought up by a Japanese game.
But I wanted to see the other result. Regardless, one of them dies, but Onyankopon says that he should have considered Anansi's position and expand his horizons more. While Anansi seems to rebuke his father and more gets upset how the Golden Stool doesn't work for him.
This is genuinely one of the decisions I blank on, cause both sides seem to have decent points to me, but I'm forced to choose cause they can't come to any agreement.
I will likely decide eventually (I'm high enough level at this point I can easily own both), but I really do like and am impressed. Most morality systems in games are much more simple. You either kick puppies for fun or you're a saint, and while this game certainly has those choices, seeing more complex decisions is super cool.
I've played other Megaten titles (P1, P3-5, SH2, and Raidou 1) and none of them really made me think as to what the "good option" was and I like that.
