Found this coin years ago in my grandfather’s collection. He was a truck driver and travelled across Europe for many years, so it could be from almost any European country. Diameter about 18–20 mm. Copper or billon. Any ideas?

I acquired it in an antique store I dont know anything about Medieval coins (if its Medieval; if not can you please point me towards the right place?) I am just trying to figure out the denomination so I can file it in my collection. I am leaning towards 1 Oré but I am probably mistaken after all I mainly collect 1802 United States large cents.

I bought this coin last weekend at a coin show for $25, which was a pretty sweet deal. Despite the hole it is a lovely coin, the detail on the shields, even on this tiny coin, is superb. A bit late to call medieval, but it is a surprise addition to my small hammered collection.

Found both while metal detecting in a small village in east Yorkshire

first coin I believe might be Anglo Saxon or early medieval based on the lettering as none of other hammered looks similar reverse is toasted but I'm sure a expert might be able to tell

Second coin I have no clue on I've never found such a tiny coin (1cm width) and all it seems to have on it is different shapes

I have a clue maybe it's connected to the house of Anjou. Because of the resemblance the Anjou-lily, fleur-de-lis. And on the other side maybe a double cross or H? Any tips?

Purchased a lot of 23 random medieval coins. All assumed from France. Can anyone identify any of these coins or match markings to specific regions or whatnot for me to look into? Thank you.

As the title states. Are these all Henry III coins like I've labelled them?

Or is it two Henry III coins and one Edward I coin? I labelled them all as Henry III but upon closer inspection I think one might be Edward I.. I don't know too much about Medieval Coins so I figured I'd ask for a second opinion.

It's the one at the top that I think is Edward I. Is this assumption correct?

Also, semi-related, but what's a fair price for a Henry III Long Cross half cut coin? I won these for £2.80 each via eBay bids, which I think is definitely a good price, but for future reference I'm just curious as to what is reasonable for a maximum bid price? I set these three at a max bid of £4 each but won at £2.80, however I'm assuming that even £4 each would be a fair deal..What's the maximum I should pay, just for future reference? As the seller has more of these listed.

Just wondering, I dug a few Vatican coins in Spain years ago with 1599 dates on them but although we found a lot of old coins, nothing earlier than that with a date. Was wondering if anyone knew when actual dates were first added?

My first medieval coin, I also have a few ancient ones. I especially love the patina, it looks like gold. Unfortunately it's not easy to photograph, so I used photos from the auction. My own aren't even half as good.

I also enjoy the history of this coin: not only is it the first type of Prague Groschen ever minted, Venceslaus was a king of both Bohemia and Poland, two countries important to me.

I think the above coin is a crusader coin but I'm only 95 percent sure. It was listed as a bohemond III denier by the seller but I don't think it is tbh.

I also went through Schlumberger's Numismatique de l'Orient Latin but couldn't really find anything similar to it.Any help on identification would be greatly appreciated.
