Tickets and Travel
Where do I get tickets?
I'm coming by train, where should I go?
Is there a map of the convention?
I need a hotel!
Ahead of arrival
Prepare!
Some of these need reservations to be sure to do this early.
Getting in
Where's the entrance to the convention?
What time should I get there?
Inside Con
Is Con safe?
What about food?
Toilets!
Can I take pictures?
Should I buy stuff?

Hi!! first time attending an MCM comic con and I was hoping to find out if they offer fast track lines for disabled people? I can’t stand for long periods of time and I’ve tried to email them but they just send me in a circle talking about having an essential companion code which I don’t need, just a possible fast track option for queues.
thanks!!

I usually go to these things alone, but I would like to go with people this time! I’m mainly looking for genshin/hsr fans! 20+ only! I am 25! I can help pay for tickets, food, and maybe merch! Please dm if interested(I’m not sure how Reddit works or if it has DMs)

Hi all,
I've been going to MCM for a few years now and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for hotels that wont cost too much for the whole weekend? It doesn't need to be right on the Excel's doorstep, but preferably close to a train station that is a direct line to the Excel or near enough.
Any help is appreciated x

Or namely….Steven Mackintosh is going to Comic Con (for the first time) which is something I genuinely never expected to see and is a very welcome surprise having been a massive fan for the last few years.
I’ve booked an autograph (taking something rare to be signed) and getting a photo with him and he’s taking part in a Lock, Stock Q&A with other cast members. The fact this is all happening on one day is blowing my mind.
It’s been fifteen years since I attended a convention so quite a while, and the fact I’m excited is an understatement. The man can literally read the phone book and still make it sound interesting.
Bring on next Saturday. I am ready (not!).
Anyone else venturing there next weekend?

Sooo I just saw that the voice acting squad for Resident Evil 9 are coming to MCM Comic Con London in October and I desperately wanna go!
But. I have no friends to go with. Would anyone be up to go with me?
FYI -
I'm 29F from Surrey, I love gaming and I'm new to the RE family. I havent been to Comic Con in years and I feel a bit out of touch. I would just love some company!

I’m thinking of going as one of the mobile task forces but am yet to decide, I’m seeing if anyone else is going as something SCP related as I’m a bit of a nerd for the whole thing. If anyone is I would love to meet up at the con!

Hello! I’ve been searching for an artist at May’s Comic-Con who was selling a lovely plush Ghostface badge.
I was having a bit of a panic and had to leave before I could buy it. I’m so sad I didn’t go back and get it, I was just so overwhelmed by the crowds that I couldn’t.
I’d love to find their shop page if they have one so I can add it to my bag. Any help would be greatly appreciated.🖤

Anyone happen to see what type of pens Alan Tudyk used for signing? I got his autograph but missed what pen was used and I thinks it’s one of the best ones I’ve seen so far! It’s highly opaque and have a matt finish. I know it’s a paint pen, but I’ve never seen a Posca look this good and I believe DecoColor have a glossy finish.

All Critical Role members are attending both Friday and Saturday according to the website. The panel is on Friday. This has me a bit confused, as I feel like this panel is easily one of the top 3 biggest events at the con, yet many people won't be able to attend on a week day.
My thoughts on the best odds: Saturday is a busier day, higher prices too. But Friday has the panel, and will bring a lot of fans in who will want a photo-op as well.
This whole situation feels very 50/50 to me. Any experienced con goers who might give some advice, who know how these things usually pan out?
I will only attend one day. That's why it's important to me to know this, so I can hedge my bets. I missed out last time so I'm really trying to play this smart.

Hey everyone,
I want to be a seller at artist alley MCM London Comic Con, I’ve always wanted to ever since I was a teenager and now that my work has slightly improved I want to take the leap.
Although is it too much of a big leap to do MCM as my second ever stall, I did a local stall but didn’t get much traction since it was mostly fan art or cutesy art.
Should I do more local stalls and wait till next May to do a stall, or take the leap and apply for October?
I know I can be impatient since I want to really pursue art as a career.

First time at London's MCM in nearly 10 years. I would like to try a cosplay day and a couple of days as a photographer and shooting some video content. Any advice from anyone on practicality, cosplay props ect (there's a sword I want to get that's 3d printed and within the venues measurement rules ect) would be really appreciated and welcomed 🙂
Main focus is seeing how this land lies for a creative and gent who's curious.
Looking forward to it.
Chris, SV

Hi everyone , hope this is alright to post here. We've just released our new Cosplay video from MCM London May and I'd love to know what you think.
This was my 10th year of filming at MCM and this was the hottest one ever!

Hi, long shot, but I talked to this cute guy with black, long hair and blue eyes, tallish, who was standing in line for the Dragonsteel shop, and I thought he liked me too, but then I had to rush off... if you see this, hi and feel free to message me! (I have brown hair and asked for directions and a girl next to you in line answered and I thought maybe she was a girlfriend but turns out she wasn't!)

Hi everyone. First post here. I have had a love hate relationship with cons ect for many years.
I first went waaaay back in 2008 as a full time observer and it was a good laugh. Went again back in 2009 and I cosplayed as Eric Draven (to still have long hair and was I ever that slim lol) and it was amazing having photos taken and really relished in the nerdy stuff I know.
Since then I have been back a few times as photographer when I was honing my skills. The last was in 2017 I believe.
I am in a better place mentally, professionally and physically these days so I wouldn't mind trying again. I have a video I'd like to make that could include interviewing and showcasing the creative freedoms places like this have for many. I wanted to possibly do one day as photography/video and the next in cosplay.
My only issue is I am alone in this. Does anyone else go to these events on their own? I want guys and girls opinions on this and what sort of tips do you have for this? I was hoping to get talking to some new friends and whatever else may happen.
Coming back from isolation and addiction to a new decade of better goals is nothing wrong.
Thanks everyone for their comments and stories.
Chris

I’m trying to find the person who was selling Monster High prints, specifically one of Clawdeen.
I know it’s a long shot, but I thought I’d post to see if anyone knows who it was and if they have an Etsy or social media.

I had the most lovely conversation about Spy X Family with the artist who sold me this sticker and we both got super excited about recent things that have happened in the manga!
I've tragically lost her business card 🥲
I was wondering if anyone recognised her art and knew who this belongs to?
