I am writing a web comic about a male maya vampire and am trying to learn about the culture but i do need some pointers. Here are my questions.

Here’s some things about him to help, he’s a commoner, he never married, his father passed away so he is the man of the house, and he was turned in Spain by a vampire from America.

He’s 24, born 6/24/1503. Is the name “Ah Chuen” accurate?

The name also doesn’t seem like him. What other names/sites are good?

Are the “zodiacs” accurate? Would commoners be
named after their zodiac?

Is there a good map/guides on cities? I thought the Yucatán would be cool but I’m so lost :(

Did the parents ever change their kids names later?

How old were the kids when they were named?

Last question, would it be far fetched for this vampire to rename him after making him? I’m not sure what name would make sense, something about bringing death or relating to blood.
