Like before I would actually shoot Squishies and light them on fire.

Now it feels riskier and not worth as much.

I feel like its more optimal to just shoot Tank again which is unfun for everyone.

Wish they just nerfed something else about him. I hate spread and randomness

Maybe cus i only play 6v6, but often when i charge into lots of people, i can basically stun myself because i cannot pass them. I get stuck. Im just standing still with a hitbox rivaling the moon, instead of doing my dmg and continuing to run pass, creating an off angle or escape.

It always baffles me that it works like that.

All my 5v5 games pretty much go 1-2 fights and the other tank mirrors Mauga and then we just neutralize each other and I pray my team plays better range or goes counters. I do really enjoy the tracking aim style, the rotations with overrun and the stomp, but I do not enjoy the mirror match as I feel very punished for shooting squishies.

Maybe I’m missing some ways to diff the other Mauga. I am new to the hero. Seems like you just have to be a few shots ahead and try to play around LOS as much as possible. In 6v6 it feels more rare and it feels like the mirror is less annoying.

I was totally hyping myself up for a living island embodiment from the charm and souvenir.

It should be noted that this rollout is significantly easier to do if the railings are still in tact.

For some reason the Fika and the Sierra both counted as two kills each. This was also play of the game. This clip is edited to the initial play because you can’t hear Athena call out the kill streak in the POTG replay.

He doesn't have to become a total good guy, maybe an anti-hero, but what are your ideas of an alternate universe or some possibilities of Mauga turning away from Talon or from being a generally evil person in the future?

Okay so, I’ve been wanting to do this for a while and would love some feedback.

Some self-made rules I had when doing this were the following: Read his hero interactions to try and see about his likes/dislikes, no type overlap, no legendaries/mythics, try to get him a starter but if I can’t it’s no big deal, and to pick pokemon based on his personality over his appearance. (Example: don’t pick Pyroar just because it has a huge head of hair like Mauga)

These choices were made based on how Mauga seems to fancy himself as a demon (“you’ve got the demon on your side”) so I tried to give him Pokemon with destructive capabilities, violent tendencies, or who were inspired by Oni.

Metagross in particular is a choice I’m proud of because it fits him so well. Despite its hulking size and power, it is incredibly intelligent.

Other Pokemon I considered: Emboar, Swampert, Machamp, Garchomp, Basculegion, Magmortar, Grimmsnarl.

While it may not always be useful, it is always fun to get a stomp from an angle the opponent might not be expecting.

Domain expasion

With the new mythic out, I wanted to make some kind of Mauga talon skin. I wanted to deviate away from what the usual sources and come up with a unique design to fit him. I also wanted to put a helmet on him. Maybe more scribbles later if I feel like it

So imma be honest. I say that over and over again, but finding people who have good other ideas for mauga is hard.

My idea is to deep dive into the hero identity of 2 different miniguns and their effects. What if both miniguns had different fire rates, and DMG values, thus different spreads and also simply some way of improving the incentive to shoot Squishies.

The fire gun needs a ramp up to shoot a bit quicker doing less DMG but thus burning people quicker to then have the crit gun shoot less per second but have less spread but hitting harder. Basically increasing the difference between the guns even more instead of just saying, left burn right crit. To actually say, well the left guns has more spread and might not hit the squishy in front of you, so you might wanna skip the burn part and just shoot with a harder hitting less spread gun to just prove your aim instead. The numbers are a mystery, because we don't want to buff the DMG output too much so that shooting both guns would be too strong. But trying to keep the DMG more or less similar or just working with the crit multiplyer, so that it doesn't go up too much.

When do you enable cardiac overdrive? And how do you deal with rein, sigma and Zarya? Ana anti heal also seems to be the problem if you don’t have Kirko but most support players will never even save you from the anti heal.

Feel like I've gotten this shit daily and I feel insane because I hadn't seen anyone mention it, but quite frequently when I use Overrun, the camera will not pan over to the expected third person view. It makes actually piloting during the ability damn near impossible, and often results in a death. Do yall also get it this frequently and do you know the cause?
