I wanted to see if the app has a reading order for Hank Pym, but I don’t see a way to get to the library without subscribing

I've wanted to get into reading X-Men comics after watching the X-Men and Deadpool movies. I really like Wolverine, Storm, Mystique, and Cyclops, so anything focusing on these characters would be super cool!

I just have no clue where to start. Any recommendations would be nice! Feel free to ask me any more questions to be more specific :-)

Today I noticed that X-Men (1991) #31 and #32 have been removed from Marvel Unlimited. Both issues had been available on the service for quite some time, and now they’ve suddenly disappeared.

Does anyone know why they were removed? It seems so random.

I bought a bunch of digital comics related to Civil War when Captain America: Civil War came out in theaters. Marvel was having 50% of all Civil War and related comics. So.. 10 years ago and I bought them through the Marvel Comics app at the time.

I don't remember which email address I bought them under so I've tried logging into the Marvel Unlimited app using each of the 4 I believe they would be under but the app doesn't let me get past the signing for the membership. I've logged in through the web site but it tells me to access my library I need download the Marvel Unlimited app & check through there but I can't get past the app wanting me to sign up for a subscription.

Am I SOL or is there another option?

Edit: Marvel was able to figure out which email address it was under. I've made sure to put that it my username/password spreadsheet I have.

Just updated my Chromebook last night and the MU app now works again. YEAH!!!

I knew there were a couple of posts last week when the app was broken after an update a couple of weeks ago.

As the title reads, I’m unable to access my account/subscription via mobile. I had a Marvel Unlimited subscription back in 2022 attached to my subscriptions-based email account - cancelled it when I stopped reading comics as I’ve always gone through phases with it. I just went back to reactivate my subscription, paid the $10 through the Apple app store (which my bank has charged me for), and now am receiving this message whenever I try to sign into my Marvel Unlimited account OR my Disney+ account (where I thought the subscription might’ve somehow ended up by accident but it didn’t). I have tried logging on my computer and checking both accounts + their subscriptions as well, and neither house the subscription as well. Does anyone have any idea what could possibly do here besides reach out to support? I don’t want to say Marvel scammed me out of $10 but it’s starting to feel more and more like that, especially when I can’t find a trail leading to where my subscription actually is.

Just wondering if I’m slow or if this app is ridiculously difficult to navigate. I am desperately trying to read this run as someone new to reading comics. I just finished the first issue of giant sized and on all the reading guides I can find they say to move on to uncanny #94. Idk where I’m supposed to search for this on the app because every time I search it up I get 6000 results none of which are even from the right decade that I’m looking for. Please if there is secret sauce to the search engine on this app let me know all I wann do is read ts.

I'm looking to read stories of heroes and villains setting aside their differences, at least temporarily, to work together to defeat a common foe.

A while ago, I read the limited run Weapon X series in which Old Man Logan (formerly Wolverine) teamed up with Victor Creed (Sabertooth). Those two hated each other for a long time, but were willing to set aside their differences to go after a common enemy.

In that same story arc, Lady Deathstryke and Domino also set aside their own differences to team with Logan and Creed.

I know of the Fantastic Four also working with Victor Von Doom at times, only for them to revert back to enemies.

Spider-Man also had his share of working with members of his rogues gallery at times such as Venom, the Sandman or Rhino.

Daredevil also worked with Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) a few times though Fisk usually had an ulterior motive in assisting Daredevil.

Are there other examples of heroes and villains working together that I can read about?

The episode 5 of X-Men ‘97 is as a great combination of action and drama. While it didn’t come from one comic story, it was definitely inspired by two of them. If you are interested in continuing to learn about the comics that the show is based on, you can check out:

Was in the middle of making my way through the series, have the issues been removed for a specific reason? or are they just temporarily down?

My MU subscription is getting canceled in september because I have other things in live like uni and stuff so I won't have much time to read comics anymore. I was wondering if there are any must-reads that I can still finish in this short amount of time( short since I am also going on vacation for 4 weeks). I have already read the amazing spiderman (1963) #1-44 (planning to read to 50), the fantastic four(1961) #31-60, the silver surfer (1968)#1-7(probably going to finish this series) and thor: god of thunder( I really liked the first part about Gorr). The infinity gauntlet and Civil War look interesting but I'm not sure if I should read anything before this. I would also like some x-men or wolverine. Anybody got anything to reccomand? Every marvel era is welcome, so long as I can read them with the knowledge I have( or with some background knowledge reading I can catch up on in a short amount of time). Thanks in advance. I wanna get into Ironman comics. Specifically Invincible Ironman comics from the 80s and I was looking at recommendations and a lot said Demon in a bottle or armour wars.

But I don’t wanna make the mistake I made with daredevil and read his big character changing stories too early because I feel like you can’t appreciate it as much with little experience of the characters.

So is there any nicher stories that are good and still give a good representation of Ironman that you guys would recommend or should I just go to the big ones?

I've been reading Star Wars on Marvel Unlimited and I'm worried Disney might kill it. I found that the app makes like $500k/month on iOS in the US. Is that enough to keep it around, or should I be worried?

Haven't read a ton of comics lately but am now getting into Marvel Unlimited. I loved Uncanny X-Force and wanted to catch up on what's going on with Fantomex, but it doesn't seem like he's been in much lately.

Any series I might be missing that have Fantomex in them?

I'm intrigued to know what other people's reading rate is in terms of how many issues you read a day or a week or a month, etc. I try to read comics every day, but mostly it's just one issue a day, if I'm lucky two, and exceptionally three. And then there are days where I don't read any comics at all.

I'm currently reading through Claremont's X-Men run (plus all the associated titles). I started with Giant Sized X-Men back in September 2025 and I'm only up to Mutant Massacre right now. I figure it'll take me several more months at my current rate to finish up to Muir Isle (or whatever the last stage of Claremont's run is).

After that, I was planning on skipping forward and starting at the beginning of Continuity Guide's modern era and just keep going. But there are over 11,000 issues in that guide! As someone well into middle age, and at my current reading rate, I'm not sure I have enough time left on this mortal coil to read them all! This is somewhat disheartening!

And yes, yes, I know this is not a job, it's supposed to be fun, etc., etc. And of course I could try to dedicate more time to comics, but it's hard to find that time with other obligations, and, to be honest, other pleasures!

Anyway, I'd just like to know I guess whether I'm above or below average in terms of how many comics you read per day/week/month. Just to get a sense, not to judge myself. Thanks!
