i’m someone who’s trying to just start out as a manga maker, and i’m just looking for help from some people, this is some of my work, I know that just drawing isn’t what it takes to make manga but it’s just the baseline, i’m wondering what the next step would be? working on story telling or trying to make one shots etc. i’m also based in scotland if that’s something to take into account

I’m almost done with this next page I’m working on and I wanted to know if it looks like manga or not.. tell me what you guys think is the artstyle good or if it can be worked on— also if my art style looks similar to any actual pro mangaka art style you know would appreciate if I got some recs to do some more master studies—

My goal was to make the house feel worn down and isolated in a large open field.

I originally had the house centered, but I changed the composition because I've heard that having stuff directly in the middle is bad. Now I'm not sure if the new composition reads better or if the original thumbnail was stronger because I feel like it may look a little harder to read.

Today’s the day. I’ve decided to announce that for the past 10 months I’ve been pouring everything I have into a passion project.

It’s an anime / graphic novel series built on the famous public domain characters every generation grew up with — flipped completely on their head. Season 1 (which is pretty much complete) is Winnie-the-Pooh reimagined as a Kill Bill–style revenge bloodbath.

The Kickstarter drops soon, and it’s stacked — hoodies, tees, and one-of-one original pieces from a few legendary artists. I’ve even got some well-known supporters who’ve already helped me out a ton along the way.

Here’s all I ask: you don’t have to buy a thing. Just share it. Send it to everyone you know. A Kickstarter lives or dies in its first week, and the people closest to me sharing it is what makes or breaks this. 🍯🐻⚔️🩸

Hi, I'm looking for an artist for a high-concept story called Athena Investigations: Simulacra Case. It's a Post-Cyberpunk story that involves a private investigation firm called Athena. It takes place in the 2080s, when cyberization is commonplace, like with our smartphones today. Our protagonist, Violet Kaminashi, is tasked with finding out what Simulacra is after her former mentor was found dead. The story is inspired by Cyberpunk 2077 and Ghost in the shell.

This is going to be unpaid because where I'm from in therapy, and i have no income. Writing stories is one of the things that is helping me with my chronic Depression. So any help will do... 1. (based on a dream) what if in a future world,monsters have taken control and the captured humans raise the monsters babies before eventually turning into their first prey?

2. a young agrophobe seeks a rare tv so he could watch old vhs tapes ,facing the outside world for the first time in years,under the deadline of a new law that calls for collection of all unused old tech.

and i have more ideas but i feel like im too dumb to come up with any good ones.... im still a noob so i guess i just need practice. thanks
