Dog Design Stitched out result - Any Suggestion?

Hey Folks!
The client recently stitched out this design, and I thought I'd share the result.

The first image is the original artwork, and the second is the final embroidery stitch-out. It's always great to see how a design translates from screen to fabric.

What's your thought? Anything you would have done differently?

You know that folding screen painting behind the king in Korean historical dramas on Netflix? It's called 'Irwol Obongdo.' I embroidered a mini version of it—smaller than the palm of my hand! 🪡✨

Tips?

I just got the brother SE700 3 days ago. I am using a 90wt pre wound bobbin, 40wt thread. I’m practice on a tote bag with one sheet of tear away stabilizer with tension on 3.

I’m not mad about how it’s turning out considering I just got my machine, but i definitely have room for improvement. Should my bobbin wt match my thread wt? Please give me tips and tricks.

Help a beginner: my machine keeps eating my projects

Hello everyone!

I'm a beginner in machine embroidery and while I understand that the Quality of my projects depends on many finicky settings, one problem I've encountered for the second time today is making me scratch my head (and is soooo annoying cause i gotta screw the machine apart and clean it out and put it back together).

My machine keeps sucking in fabric at some point and then everything ends as a thread and fabric lump inside, and all i can do is cut off the rest of the project. It happened while trying to embroider the letter o.

i work with a brother innovis 750e, i use ink/stitch to digitize my own designs and ideas.

This is a Fruit of the Loom cotton jersey t-shirt, cutaway stabiliser, both hooped. i used 0,4mm pull compensation for the picture and 0,3mm pull compensation for the lettering, didn't change anything else about the lettering (it's a font that came with ink/stitch)

the bobbin was not empty (i thought that was the problem the first time around but this time i made sure i have enough)

here are some pictures (yes i know the outcome isn't ideal anyways, too big spaces in between the filling lines, i was about to make a post asking for tips on how to fix the smaller issues anyways, but this "ruining my whole project and t-shirt" problem is no1 priority now, i could live much better with an unclean embroidery than with whatever this is)

as i said, I'm pretty much a total beginner, so if you need any more information about my param settings or whatever I'm happy to answer all questions, appreciate the time!

picture explanation:

1: how it looked with "freshly eaten" project from underneath the hoop

2: the already cut away project with th little hole of where it happened

3: the machine with the fabric and thread rests eaten up in a little bunch, completely stuck

4: how the bobbin thread looked when i tried to take it out (it was also weirdly stuck)

5 and 6: "finished" test embroidery of the project, abrupted after "the incident", from front and back

Here's a patch I'm making to give out to some Pokemon Go friends. 3x4 inches, 15k stitches. Loving the rainbow thread and the metallic silver tooth. Digitized with Embrilliance.

Advice please!!!! Bobbin showing, skipping and misaligned

I have a brother SE700 and I have embroidered some great things with it. I all of a sudden started having major issues with my bobbin thread showing, skipping, and misalignment.. I've changed the needle, rethreaded the bobbin and thread several times, to no avail. I am ready to lose my mind and hoping someone can help!!

Attached: Willy's Mom and euro summer stitches- previous stitching I've done; Beverly's mom (in two different fonts because I wanted to confirm it wasn't a font issue) still having issues after the troubleshooting listed above.

Any help is appreciated!!!

Advice please!! Trouble shooting Husqvarna Viking ruby deluxe thread nesting and loose thread issues when embroidering.

I got my machine a few weeks ago (used) and sometimes it’s fine, but I keep having loose thread loops here and there and but then when I get halfway through a project, there’s usually a problem with thread nesting.

I thought it was the needle plate so I got the straight stitch only one, didn’t help. Thought it was the thread, tried different threads and set ups making sure it didn’t enter the machine tangled.

Even when it’s not thread nesting, i don’t really see the bobbin on the back so I’ve tried tightening the top tension. thread The auto tension has it sent to 2.8. I have played with and put it up to 3.2 and that seems to help but I still get the loose threads and then thread nesting.

Happens on all stabilizers and on my magnetic and regular hoops. Maybe it’s a hooping issue but I’ve watched so many videos and think I’m pulling it tight enough and the projects are usually okay in the beginning. Tried new and different kinds of needles.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! This is my first computerized machine as I’ve only worked with vintage singers in the past.

Happy Japan HCH-701P vs Bai Vision – Which would you choose?

Hi everyone! I’m deciding between the 7-needle Happy Japan HCH-701P and the Bai Vision.
From what I’ve read, most people say the Happy Japan lasts longer, has excellent support, and is easier to get service if something goes wrong.
However, I’ve also heard the Bai Vision is a significant step up from the Bai Mirror—that it’s much more industrial and produces excellent stitch quality.
The price difference is pretty significant, so I’d love to hear from people who have used either (or both). If you were buying today, which would you choose and why?

I have a pretty much new brother se2000 that i've used maybe a dozen times, if that. What is a fair price to sell it at?

Just finished digitizing this Pokémon-inspired design. I'd love to hear your feedback on the stitch path, density, and overall result.

Total beginner looking for advice

Just like the title says, I’m so fresh… I don’t even have a machine yet 😅 I am looking for recommendations on a personal use machine, for an absolute beginner. I have two little girls and I’m looking to personalize things for them to wear, as well as for others (gifts, etc). Nothing large scale. Something cost effective, but that won’t poop out on me in a couple years.

Also, realistically, what needs to be in a beginners arsenal? I would love some tips and “must-haves.” I know this is a pretty extensive question(s) I’m asking, so any and all advice is much appreciated! thank you!

Looking for SWF COMPACT550 Recovery Software / E-Series v4.21 (2007) - ETX-150

I'm trying to revive an older SWF embroidery machine and I'm hoping someone may still have the original controller software or recovery media.

Machine:

SWF E-T1501C (15 needle, single head)

Sun Star Precision

Manufactured around 2007

Controller:

COMPACT550 Rev. 4.1

Software Version 4.21 Build 1 (2007-09-07)

Machine Control Version 3.0 Build 1

KARAM BIOS v6.61

Caldera DR-DOS

ETX350 embedded CPU module

Problem:

The controller boots perfectly and internal designs still work, but both USB ports now return:

Error #650 – USB Drive Is Not Ready

The CMOS battery has already been replaced.

I'm not looking for the operator manual. I'm looking for any of the following:

Original recovery floppy

Recovery CD/DVD

Controller software

System image

COMPACT550 service software

SWF E-Series installation media

ColDesi recovery files

If anyone has an old backup, disk image (.IMG/.ISO), or knows where these files still exist, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm happy to pay for the media or shipping if needed.

Thanks!

Logo review for embroidery

Hi! I am getting a logo made, and I want to eventually get it embroidered on some jackets or hats. I don't know anything about the embroidery process, so I was hoping to get some feedback on the design to see if there was anything in the design that would cause issues during embroidery. Please let me know if you you have any questions, or see anything that should be adjusted. Thanks!

Tajima/Dahao File problem

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using a Yeshi 1201CT embroidery machine, and I'm having an issue with DST files.

When I import a DST file, the machine does not follow the needle sequence defined in the file. For example, if the design is set to stitch with Needles 1 → 2 → 3, the machine automatically changes it to a different needle order.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Is there a specific DST format or export setting that allows the machine to follow the original needle sequence correctly? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Advice needed on how to approach this repair

Post image
0 Upvotes

I have an old baseball glove with a patch that's begun to lose its embroideted thread. I've reached out to a few local shops in the Indianapolis area to see if they could repair it. The answers have come back that they don't want to touch it due to copyright laws. For reference, this is a small Japanese company that does not distribute to the United States. They also do not work with individuals for replacements.

My question is: am I just spinning my wheels on trying to get this thing repaired or having a replacement one made? Or is there some service that I haven't found yet that specializes in this?

Machine recommendations sewing/embroidery

I’ve been wanting a new sewing machine for a few years, but I would like to be able to do some occasional machine embroidery. I’m wanting at least a 5x7 embroidery area and the ability to upload my own designs, other than that I’m not super picky on features. I’m open to buying a used machine and getting it serviced as long as the machine has a good track record. I’m located in Canada, and I’m hoping to keep in under $1000.00 if possible, but from what I’m seeing, new 5x7 machines seem to be at least $1200.00

Any advice is welcome and appreciated, I’ve been watching Facebook marketplace lots and checking it when I travel. So I’m hoping for a few different machines I could be looking for.

Thanks in advance

Hello, I’m Brazilian and I’ve been working with embroidery for 8 years

I have been thinking about the possibility of migrating my services as a digitizer to the United States and I believe it is feasible. Does the embroidery market usually buy many scans? Do you think it would be possible? On average, how much is charged for a scan out there?

Please help me get out of this recurring hell 😭 “Checking upper and bobbin thread”

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Please god help me with this. I have rethreaded multiple times. I have checked for lint in the sensor. I have replaced the bobbin thread. What the hell else could it be. Nothing looks wrong when the error happens. It will go for about 15 stitches and then just stop. Thread isn’t snapping and bobbin isn’t running out.
