Finally got form1 approved on the 22lr

I humbly present my ap5 with Acro- I have since moved it onto a Scalarworks mount because I didn't like how busy the window was cowit with irons.

I am thinking of switching it up because I think at times the setup looks funky. Maybe with Eotech exps or similar.
There is no reason that I want to swap other than I'm restarted and have a weird itch where this doesn't satisfy my ap5 setup for some reason. It just doesn't quite do it for me.

Let's hear and see what you all are rocking. I have been browsing a ton of setups on the sub here already.

New to the platform.. What are we doing for FRTs? Is there anything else I’ll need to make it run smooth?

I have yet to shoot it since swapping the lowers, everything seems to cycle correctly so next week we’re going to the range to test it out. I love the mixed black and RAL8000 coloring .

I'm way too proud of myself for thinking to do this, but I'm glad I did. I didn't really want to hammer it back in, and it was very easy like this.

Maybe a pliers wrench should be the official MP5 front sight tool (if it isn't already)

This collapsible stock is stiff AF. I’m assuming the fix is just some grease?

I finally got my form 1 back for my AP5. For the engraving does it go on the upper receiver? I would assume this is where it would need to be but I just want to make sure.

Seems like we’re doing the thing. The KES was a pain to get to fit right with the AP5P and it’s still pretty rough but the vibes are right.

Here is my freshly minted ZF5 SBR, along with my ZF5T and MAC5K.

The AC Unity stock is AWESOME on the full-sized, while the Choate feels best to me on both K’s.

CAT Mob’s reside on each K - QD on ZF5T and RU3 Hub on MAC5K.

90 LP on the full-size, 80 LP on MAC5K, 70 LP on ZF5T.

I’ve switched out to ASD trigger and mp5 hammer for the full-sized with JP rifles enhanced reliability spring set. This reduces ROF to 780-790 compared to over 900 rpm with a Geissele single stage precision.

Both K’s run G$ SSP’s with the McMaster Carr shim for ARC V2’s. 980 rpm for the newer ZF5T and 950 rpm for the very broken-in MAC5K.

Finally able to post a two stamper for this gun. Been absolutely flawless through the ~2500 rds so far. I’m still not completely sold on the micro prism and may replace it with an MRO of Acro. Outside of that, the only thing I still need to add is a sling and possibly a light. The unity side folder is an absolute steal for the money and compared to the B&T folder I have, it gives me a little more flexibility with the LOP. Definitely the most enjoyable gun to shoot I currently own.

Hideously impractical, but I love it. It tickles my tism just right. Favorite gun to shoot period. Yes, it's a form 1 maglite suppressor.

I posted on this sub a while ago about getting an MP5k clone to test out, and at the time I chose the MAC 5k bc of the deal they had at the time. I have since put about 1,200 rounds of 124gr blazer and about 600 rds of NATO 124. I have shot the gun stock for the break-in period they recommended, and ran it suppressed and unsuppressed.

The only things I have changed on the gun is the trigger housing and the hand guard (these were stock for the break-in period as well).

The gun runs fine for about 100 rds and then starts to experience FTF and FTE malfunctions, both suppressed and unsuppressed.

Are there any MAC owners that recommend changing any internals or the locking block? Or do you think it could be magazine related (I haven’t tested the gun with genuine HK mags yet).

Any help would be appreciated. I want this thing to work bc IK their CS is dogshit and I would rather not deal with them.
