Just wanted to share what set im currently using.

I went to look for some guides to see what I should be aiming for, for end game stuff. I quickly realized I had no idea what they were talking about. I basically don't remember how to play this game and I'm wondering if anyone has any good resources for me to catch back up on my knowledge?

My friend got four gems from one of our gog runs and I haven’t gotten a single one yet 🫩. Is cutting the tail with the Azuz meal and lucky vouchers on the only way to increase your chances?

I main DB, but recently got the hunting horn as my secondary with the main task to buff my teammates. I usually join SOS for Omega Planetes and I have been playing a "Elemental Boost" and "Divine Blessing" and encoring them

Since I am not a main, I had some questions about how it works

- What's the maximun range in order for the buffs to reach my teammates?

- Is there any step I am missing to ensure the proper buffs? I.E I'm just playing two notes and then encore.

- Are there better notes other than divine blessing? Since despite my buffs, I feel like it doesn't work too much for them and health regeneration is off the picture since I am focused on DB

I am basically running a small support side-job. I was spamming dust of life a couple days ago but I ran out of god essence 😞

Hey ya'll. I recently hit HR100 the other day and have given some Arch Tempered Apex Monsters a try (Rey Dau, Nu Udra, and Arkveld) and I am genuinely nowhere close to being able to fight them atm even with SOS. They simply do too much damage too quickly and I often am responsible for at least 2 of the carts in the hunt.

My build isn't particularly hyper offense either with X2 Stun resist, X3 Divine Blessing, X2 Evade Extended, and X2 Elemental Resist from the Zoh Shia gloves. Everything is around level 5 or 6 (~350 defense) since armor sphere upgrade costs balloon pretty hard and I quickly ran out. That plus a combo of reluctance to dump too many resources in to armor I am likely to replace once I can get Gog armor or Gamma armor. I almost exculsively use Switch Axe too if that explains anything.

So I suppose the main question here is, can I beat/farm Gog in order to gear up more reliably beating AT hunts or do I just need to Get Guud (TM) as well as spend a few hours getting a bunch of armor spheres and bite the bullet on leveling my current armor?

EDIT: I now realize I had been trying the 10* event quests for the AT monsters. Hopefully the lower star ones go a bit easier. Thanks for all those who gave advice.

So i dont quite grasp the concept of why/how people disapprove of the seikret so much, they whine about how autotracking is ruining their expierence on the game when the reality is its a completely optional setting?? If you dont want the seikret to run towards the targeted monster; newsflash, dont interact with the mechanic maybe- idk its not rocket science. Literally the simplest solution would be to go into settings and turn off the feature entirely. Problem solved, run around at your leisure Manually.

And then, theres the side of the argument where people argue about how they just idly stand by and arent actively fighting companions like the palamutes were (in rise) but here's the thing, were comparing apples to oranges here; The PALAMUTES to my understanding are Guild approved/trained companions that can accompany and are assigned to their Hunter, where as the SEIKRETS are either "wild life" for lack of better in wyveria (guardians) or bred and tamed/trained by Kunafa residence.

^ y'know- the village where these people didnt even know what traditional weapons were?? They dont fight, how/why would they raise or train seikrets to defend? Their raptor birds that serve a simple purpose- carrying extra supplies which many of you need. The extra space of weapon or a get out of jail free card for sharpening weapons or healing far out of range from the target if not called upon mistimed. So why is it one is beloved and the other hated? I cant make much sense of it

if i have a gog dual blade with element focus does it matter what tarred devices im using for the skill reroll?

This is my first MH game and I'm enjoying it so, so much. I've been maining SnS and Dual Blades with the occasional Great Sword hunt here and there. I want to try a ranged weapon and LBG sounded awesome. After searching my Charm box I found these. I know that the best one will depend on the type of ammo, so on and so forth. Given that I know basically nothing about it, can you please help and tell me if these are of any use? Thanks in advance

And holy hell, I forgot how annoying the clutch claw minigame is.

I loved world but the over flow of combat is just so much worse because of this. It adds literally nothing to the game and if anything just being able to make your own weak spots takes away from the strategy in each fight.

I also didn’t miss the monster tracking and was struck by how small the maps felt.

I do think wilds is heading in the right direction from being too easy to being a fun and hard challenge at times.

I do miss the meaty TCS though and promptly missed 4/5 attempts. Way more fun to gamble than the focus mode wilds GS that rarely flinches the monster. Offset spam is boring. I just play horn and SNS now.

I just reached HR100 and currently preparing to brawl against Gogmazios. I’m a LS main, crafted Rathalos’s LS to cover Gog’s fire weakness. My question is should I opt for Critical Element to make the fight more manageable? Also is Zoh Shia’s LS good for the hunt?

I primarily play longsword, and currently the only decent armour I've got are Bale and Gore alpha. How should I go about combining these? Trying to fight Arch Tempered Arkveld and am dying every single time, never even getting to skull

Otra forma de sobrevivir es controlando el poder de gogmazios (Nadia tiene que decir que controlaste su poder) una vez controlado solo ocupas tener la habilidad Elemental Absorption o Divine Blessing, esta anulara el daño recibido del golpe

Como dato extra si usas ROCKSTEADY MANTLE no te afectará, pero si no lo tienes equipado saldrás volando

I’ve been on a transition to console after my gaming laptop kicked the bucket and have dusted off the old ps5. As of now I don’t have the means to repair or buy a new pc/laptop. So in the mean I’ve been wanting to purchase wilds on the ps5 to continue the hunt.

But I wanted to ask, people on the ps5 base. How has performance felt?
