Does Hazard: The Hazy Shadow boost/increase the drop rate for the Lucent Nargacuga Mantle? Because wtf is this? I don't even need it.

I have tried for so long for Valstrax to be my #1 most hunted Monster, and for it to be above Magnamalo (of which I have killed 123 of 'em), and today, almost by accident, I just went to check if it already was. I am so proud of this

I’m learning Gun Lance and felt like I was grasping it pretty well until I went face to face with a fast monster. Felt like I was constantly punished in the long animation commitments of some GL moves. So I did some research on how to approach fast monsters as a GL user and came across Reverse Blast Dash. I spent some time in the training area to get the feel of it down and holy cow. It’s like a completely different weapon now. To the point where it almost feels too effective . Is RBD spam considered a cheesy strat? I mean it was put in the game for a reason, but the way it’s being used feels like a cheat code almost. Regardless, it’s fun as hell and I’m enjoying the bajesus out of it. I was just curious what the community thought of it, if yall even do at all. Happy hunting!

Okay so ive reached “endgame” with 200 hours played (rise is my first monster hunter) ive only beaten primordial malzeno and amatsu as 6⭐️ monsters and im well aware that theres quit a few more things to do cause my anomaly level is still low and theres risen monsters, golden and silver monsters and alll of the above right

But i kinda feel content with the game and wanna play world, part of me still wants to push to the true final endgame but yeah that amatsu fight pissed me off for a good while lmao

Ill probably come back at a later date but do yall think i should fully “beat” rise then go to world, or can i switch now

Is anyone else having issues with multiplayer on Xbox/Xbox PC App? My friend group is a mix of the two and we’re constantly getting communication errors, freezing while posting a quest, freezing while joining a quest, and nothing will load. I’ve been playing this game for years and haven’t had any issues like this before.

I thought I had a strong build, Full Chaotic Gore Magala set with crit build for DBs. When I fought Gold Rathian, Silver Rathalos and Lucent Nargacuga, they were so tanky with 50.000 HP it took me 18 minutes to hunt them. Should I change my build?

I've looked up and found out that the ending boss of mhr hub is allmother narwa but the monster I faced is serpent ibushi and it fell on the pit hole and some cutscene played but when I search on yt it had all mother narwa ending and different cutscene , I'm so confused, is my game bugged?

so i saw something about being able to bring support on "solo" quests but how? when i post it says i can post with join request but i saw something where there should be an option to select who can come but i dont see?

Im currently hr90 as a seasoned mh player finally trying rise. In every monster hunter i have played i try to do every hunt in the game and craft its switch axe or gl then move on. I have done that with every monster in the base game exept valstrax witch i will shortly be fighting but i wanted to do every apex fight before doing that since they dont give any weapon mats outside of rampage weapons and decos as i have understood from research and i would just like to experience their fights. I have allready done apex zinogre in a rampage but i didnt love it and i tried the event quest apex rathian wich felt much better. My question is, should i do the event quest apexes or the rampage ones for whatever reason and when should i do them, before or after valstrax. Im really looking forward to sb but i really want to leave no stone unturned before it.

Man, maybe im just a hater, but I've had a real hard time finding anything that I feel looks cool in sunbreak. Most of the stuff feels a bit over the top. Finally found something cosmetic that catches my fancy. Feels good man.

Im trying to make the dober armor set and it needs jagras scales + and the wiki says they spawn in high rank shrine ruins but I'm getting straight izuchi I've tried genuinely everything I went in an expedition I went in a quest I went to zone 4 where the wiki says they spawn help what do I do

I have over 460 hours in mhr across two playthroughs, including sunbreak in both. I play on switch so installing challenge mods is sadly not an option

It's the only monster Hunter game I've played besides stories. I'm playing through it again but I want this playthrough to be more challenging.

Here are the rules I've already made---

• No using any shops (except to sell) besides a smithy
• No using points, dango, or optional subquests (everything will be found inside the hunt itself)
• No using a full map and no items are showing on map (I've memorized quite a bit of this game and I dislike being able to see where the monster is)
• No using online guides for anything (not that bad at all)
• Every four hunts I must large barrels until I am broke (this may seem strange, but large barrels are the most expensive and most useless item in low rank)
• No utilizing the Argosy or meowcenaries
• no restocking your materials midwest via the chest
• no using the EZ chest at all
• I'm also only playing hub quests and skipping over the village quests entirely

Title says it all. Im currently at mr1 bishaten, and she’s messing up my flow. Im used to having the monster’s entire focus only me that having floryne as a helper messes up my rythm quite bad

My first time playing lance and i think i made a decent build.Ive got 374 attack with 20 blast and 20% affinity.I could get more affinity but id have to remove 1 level of attack boost.(Also sorry for the bad pic quality)

my go to combo on a knocked down monster is 1 poke > charged wide sweep > skyward thrust

for a non knocked down monster, i go leap thrust > forcing a skyward thrust (cus im a jackass)

just wanted to ask, which's a better weapon between raw and elemental for my gameplay?

additional question, i have 3 level 4 slots and 1 level 3 slot which i havent placed a deco yet, whats good to place in it?

P.S MR 110, Anomaly Research 118, Haven't unlocked elder dragon anomaly quests yet

So i reached level 227 and dont have the 4x XP anymore, i have a great and easy stage to farm that gets me around 1.700 XP with a clear time of 8~11 minutes with 2 Targets, 0 Faints, 30 minutes and 8*

My question is, is there any "legal" way to avoid doing this stage ~75 more times to reach level 300 or am i doomed to grind for almost 15 hours?
