Hi everyone, after watching the World Cup I realized how much I missed soccer (played for 10 years). I did some research on clubs and decided to follow Man City! Literally was just founded on liking the MC players in the cup, and the jerseys are cool too.

Before games start (rip I’m in America so the time difference will be something to adjust to) i need the lowdown on the history of the team, what the vibes are like for the upcoming season, things i should know as a new fan, who we hate, etc.

Just as reported during the world cup, although hopefully it's minor. Personally I'd rather have Rodri so some of the season than non at all.

I’m from the US. Decided a few weeks ago to pledge my allegiance to City. I’ve went all in and I’m obsessed. Was really only ever a USMNT fan.

Now that I’m on board, I can’t help but notice how many X “journalists” that report on player transfer news. Many of these accounts have an outrages number of followers that would lead you to believe they are connected. But holy shit, the amount of conflicting information I see is almost comical.

As a huge American football fan, we don’t have anything close to this because people will torch you if you’re not super connected and have reliable sources. Not to say there aren’t accounts that do it but not nearly to this extent.

I genuinely don’t know who to follow for accurate info in this space.
