Puppy Alert! Is three Lhasas too many?
Teddy is pretty grumpy towards the puppy sisters but he is slowly learning to put up with their antics.

This is Lester. He was supposed to be a pure bred shih tzu, but I always suspected he could have been a mixed baby.
He was on the bigger side, around 20 or more pounds. He was very quiet, almost never barked.
He was the sweetest boy ever. I lost him in 2015 but still think of him often and have lovely dreams about him too. Where he is running/playing and happy. 😊

Hi! We got our Lhasa about 5 months ago. She is trusts us very much, and we can do anything to her without getting bitten, but when we sleep, she sometimes lays by our feet, and when we turn at night or our feet touches her, she attacks them with warnings (not biting hard). It seems both me and her gets startled by it.
She has always layed in bed by her owner, so we did the same to build her trust. The bed is very tall, so we can’t get stairs for her to climb that high, and if we put her bed beside us, it seems she also feels we are too high up for her comfort. So we lift her up, and she sleeps beside us.
When she bites I always move her up to my upper body, where I have her blanket beside me. She has recently been to the vet, and she isn’t in pain. Is this normal? She also easily gets startled by sound, and is very aware of every little sound going on outside. In the evenings she gets very restless, talks a lot and seems frustrated, even though we give her plenty stimuli through out the day.
My guess is her nervous system is very high, and I want to bring it down, so she can relax more. Any advise? Thank you ☀️

Here is my dog Howie, Have had him since 2018. Not sure if he is a full Lhasa or a mix, but he has quite the personality!

We’ve only had Punky for a couple of weeks and she is terrified of having her bangs and nose trimmed! Dolly has had one grooming session and did pretty good.
But Punky is scheduled for a grooming session and I’m sure she will be so scared. I’m trying to get her used to scissors by giving her treats and pressing the scissors against her face. As soon as she senses I’m gonna do a snip she cries.
I’m also turning on some clippers while i give them treats.
Just curious how you Lhasa lovers trained your babies.

Our sweet Charlie is terrified of fireworks but feels safe in dad’s arms with a pair of earmuffs 🥹 Any recs on dog earmuffs that will fit better than these? Lol

I got Dolly a few months back when the woman who initially purchased her had to give her up due to health issues. She had a sister that was also available but someone else wanted her.
Dolly and her sister were super close and when Dolly first looked in the mirror she would cry because she thought her reflection was her sister. 🥺
Well the other person backed out for some reason so the owner reached out to us asking if we could take in the sister. Of course we said yes! We named her Punky.
They are so happy to be reunited! They are both so sweet and it’s so entertaining watching them play and snuggle!

My father in law is 85 and has dementia, his name is Harlan. Happy always cheers him up. Our Lhasa's name is Happy. He will sit in his lap while he tells my husband and me stories. Just thought I'd share something cute! They are total buddies. Such intelligent dogs! And he doesn't bark or growl either. Such a comfort to see.

The listing listed her as a shih tzu but I see more Lhasa. The face doesnt seem squished enough for Shih Tzu. What do you guys think???

That is an understatement. This little dude will do anything for a frozen green bean.
