No one ever asks the question, "are conservatives actually good for society?" Well, I do. And I think they're not. I think they're just bad people. I don't think we need them. I think all of society would be better off without conservatives.

Conservatism is just a hate cult. They just hate everyone who isn't a clone of them. That might sound a little crass and reductionist, but is it wrong?

I think we have a real conservative problem in America and the rest of the world. No one is talking about the conservative problem. We need to start talking about the conservative problem. There is a conservative problem.

Homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, and hateful bigotry is not an "opinion" that people can hold. The intended outcome of bigotry is to hurt a bunch of people who have done nothing wrong.

We have to come to terms with the fact that conservatism is not good for society at large. In order to maintain a civil society, we have to stop tolerating conservative intolerance.

My wife and I were talking about this over dinner. She wondered how old these different ways of seeing this actually was.

We talked about early humans... the progressive ones say "Yes! Let's eat these unfamiliar berries, and the conservative ones say "No...I'm a little skeptical. I've never seen these berries before."

Or the progressive ones say "We've never gone over that mountain back there... Let's go and see what there is."

And the conservatives say "It's probably something terrible. I've heard there were monsters..."

As I scroll my phone, a "news article " often starts with the phrase: "According to Trump. "Trump thinks" "Trump likes/feels"...

Does anyone think he still has any credibility left.

Does he actually have the influence to still sell things or ideas. Obviously he does, he is the Potus. But seriously.

No matter how many Democratic candidates become president and clean up the unnecessary mess that Trump cursed us with, the paranoia will linger. The fact that a good chunk of Americans voted for him is scary on its own. We will never look at the average American the same again, especially when ICE agents lurk the streets. The famine, bloodshed, injustice, unrest, corruption, and more will have everyone looking around in paranoia, waiting for the other shoe to fall.
