Silent Spring Village
Hi everyone!
I'd love to share my first LEGO creation with you: Silent Spring Village.
Imagine walking along a quiet forest path. As the trees slowly open up, you're greeted by the view of a peaceful Japanese mountain village. A gentle stream flows through the valley, cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and for a moment, it feels like time stands still.
Welcome to Silent Spring Village — a place where spring and peace never end.
I'd love to hear what you think:
What's your favorite detail?
Is there anything you would add?
If you'd like to explore it in more detail, you can find more photos and the full project on Lego IDEAS. I'll leave the link in the comments.

Modular Did you know that r/legocity was banned for 8 years? And did you know that I contacted Reddit admins to unban it and give me the mod rights? And did you know that I just revived it? Come visit!

A fun question about MILS. Baseplate or regular plates for a base? Which do you like?
I’ve seen lots of back and forth for your mills plate construction plan. Plates or baseplates on the bottom. Why might you do one vs the other?

This is my lego room, almost entirely LOTR/Hobbit. Yes I display the boxes, they are all empty and built and I have the space

City Does anyone else feel like walking into a LEGO room is like stepping through a portal?
Turned the hall lights off tonight and looked back towards my LEGO room… it genuinely felt like I was looking through a portal into another world.
Been slowly painting a sky backdrop over the last couple of days and it’s amazing how much atmosphere it adds. Still plenty to finish (and lots of storage to hide underneath!), but for the first time it feels like a proper little city rather than just LEGO on tables.

City First attempt painting a LEGO backdrop for my City and need some fresh eyes and honest opinions. Still in progress.
I was looking for backdrops for my kids layout (I always say that) but couldn’t find any at all which looked good or the right size. We went to bargain store today and got some small tubs of paint and have decided to have a first go ourselves. I need some honest feedback and advice to see what others have done or would do. It’s still in progress so any is really welcome.

Background creator
Hey everyone,
I made small app for background creator if you want to display your LEGO car models on the wall. Something like this on attached image. Feel free to test and give some feedback
