I’m somewhat new to lee sin otp-ing and one of the most annoying match ups for me is against naafiri because those dogs always get in the way of my q1. Does anyone have any kind of tip on how to deal with it?

I've heard that mechanically difficult champions such as lee sin are not good to start off with if I'm just looking to learn how to jungle in general was wondering whats your guys take on that.

I tested out Lee Sin on LoL Classic on the PBE Servers and it seems they implemented a short delay (about half a second) before you can W to a ward after placing it.

Obviously this would destroy the fluidity of ward hopping on the champion in LoL Classic.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I’m pretty new… like 2 month playing and a month or so of it is Lee sin otp now. I am low elo and I invade almost every game and have a high positive rate.

1 Lee sin has a pretty strong secure with e smite I feel. Once the buff is below 700 e and smite and the q level into most time a kill

2 if they start red you take the entire blue side and drop a ward to see if they invaded or go to invade late once they see.

3 if they invade then it’s an even swap I’m still taking blue side and if they only took buff I still have wolves and gromp

I win the smite 50/50 a lot more than losing it and I have a 25% was 30% first blood. That’s obviously mixed with the games they start red or invade where I don’t get an invade kill.

I’m just having a hard time seeing a reason not to. Maybe I need some higher elo to let me know why or why not.

My ward hops used to be disgusting. I couldn’t for the life of me get a smooth 1* into a ward placement and 3* in one smooth motion. It was clunky and slow and didn’t look pretty but I made it work with landing, placing trinket then going. But it would get messed up as much as it worked. Only flash made it easy.

Went to practice tool and wanted to find out how to replicate the smoothness of not even hitting the 1* target landing at my ward. You know what I mean? That like butter smooth motion lee pros do that the go flying off to the target only to go to a ward even before hitting the guy. Idk but for me that has always been so clean looking if used right. So I sent into the tool and I messed with a few settings and found it!!! It was that easy!

Of course everything needs to be on quick cast but it’s the 3* ability keybind and the ward button that matter. This might be over kill but since I am otping Lee now I have only Lee key binds. I had both the ward placement and 3* on my mouse. And couldn’t hit them smooth enough and couldn’t place ward and jump before landing or even come close. Changed 3* self cast to shift for the shield and heal, button is still same on mouse for reg use but q is now my insta 3* so I can hit the ward and jump button at essentially the same time making it smooth like butter. It was that easy.

Yes I have most abilities on my mouse I have played that way for years from having 1000 world of Warcraft keybinds. I have the coursair or how ever its spells mmo mouse with 12 buttons on the side. I love it. I use it for Tarkov, wow, league, apex, everything. But I just explain that because my thumb was responsible for both actions. Now two separate fingers are doing the job. Feels so much easier since instead of 1 thumb pushing 5 button then sliding up to 2button now the thumb places ward with mb5 and im already hitting q not having a delay. Caveman fire moment.

It now looks like this for me. Mb1, mb2, ward button mb5, spam q instantly after placing ward, ult button in direction of choosing.

I know Lee mains are gonna think this is obvious or not very hard to figure out but give me a break I’m only like 2 or 3 weeks into the Lee journey. It just amazed me how confused and unable I was to do it and it just settings it became so easy to do and replicate. Feeling that door unlock real time was wild. So many more possibilities

So I am an old ass mofo playing lee sin since season 1 and the nostalgia hit me right in the guts when they brought back his W refresh on wards and minions n shit.

Ever since they changed him into this skinny soy ass looking freak I cannot for the life of me play him for more than a game before throwing up.

I need my old muay thai lee sin walk animation back so I can miss my combos in style.

Anyone went through the same train of thought as I did and found anything?

I wanted to buy a nice lee sin skin which one should I go for both of them seem good but I like god first more but a lot of people disagree for various reasons so I thought I'd ask first since I'm fairly new at the game

So I've been wondering what champs I can expect to win against in a 1v1 at these points in the game? I've played Lee quite a bit but I'm just not the type of player to force these fights unless it's obviously the right move (if going against stmthn like kindred). I'm asking this because I lost a lv2 1v1 against Viego (I admit I missed my Q but ye...) and it left me wondering.

I finally committed to the otp life and it started rough but man it feeling a lot better. I was worried about being a early fighter and not being a early ganker I wouldn’t have enough agency on Lee but once you get comfortable with the clear and damage you bring at different points you really feel encouraged to find engagements.

I feel good about showing presence way more and ward hoping mid lane and saving q is huge. Speaking of, you also worry about before you start the complexity of being able to utilize the kit but once you get super comfortable ward hopping, flash insecing and getting in and out of fights becomes so much more fluid. Being able to go in and get out after taking some damage and other team expects your baseing and turns attention to teammate then a q comes over the wall and Lee comes kicking you in the face again.

Not to mention the raw damage you have against an offensive jungle. If I see you in jungle and you let me the start with q, w before taking q2, w2, e, e2, q, r, q2 of ness. I’m still learning but that feels good to me.

The level 1 invade blue is disgusting. I haven’t lost an invade with either buff or buff and fb yet. The only time I lost was a missclick on flash .5 before I needed to smite. What are you supposed to do against Lee? Just walk away from buff? The e slam does 100 damage and it’s instant. You run in start putting the jungler he either commits buff or swaps to you. When buff gets 700 e + smite. Train q and it’s a wrap.

OTP Lee Sin. I might only be 20ish games in but I see the path to glory. I must be the blind monk.
