~1500 hrs here, I've been trying to fix my aiming stability and spray for days and days, but I've not been finding any results, I heard mastering the first 10 bullets is crucial, but when i focused on it, it became even harder. Any tips, anyone?

I have 5k hours, ive played for like 8 years, im 22k elo right now, but i still suck at consistently spraying rifles (ak a4 a1) and for example i can perfectly control recoil when i think about it actively or if im spraying a wall, but whenever i take a duel i sometimes fuck up my spray a lot. how can i actually consistently control recoil?

I have very low HS accuracy; generally my counterstrafing is good (80-88%) but was bad this game. Felt like I was playing very panicky. I also feel like I can't get myself to commit to fights, and I half-commit and die because of it. If anyone could provide any feedback I'd appreciate it.

When I crouch spray I mess up crosshair placement and sell. How can I practice recoil control? I'm in the NA east region.

How do you guys deal with nervousness when it comes to team play, I'm an IGL and I played an ESEA game and I had just this nervousness come over me, it got so bad where my aim (which is pretty good) was just god awful. I've been playing this game for a while and for some reason this has been the worst my nerves got to me.
How can I overcome this.

These are my leetify stats if its relevant at all
Heres my csstats profile: https://csstats.gg/player/76561199241054786
Im trying to get to 15k this season or maybe 20k but right now im trying to get 15k, right im kinda stuck between 10k and 11k right now i solo queued some games this season but i mostly play with my friends and its usually a 3-4 stack but sometimes 5 if my other friend plays but he rarely does now.
I need some tips on what i can improve in my gameplay and how i can mentally improve because some games where we start losing rounds in a row like 4 or more rounds i start to immediately get that feeling that we might lose and i definitely know that this is a bad thing to do but thankfully when i play with my friends that thought goes away pretty quick but its mostly on my solo queue matches where that negative mental is affecting my gameplay.
I also mainly entry but right now im kind of stuck on what to do so some tips would be appreciated and i have 957 hours on cs2 right now

I was a level 10 faceit and global player in csgo. Playing premier solo queue at 17k atm 63% win rate. Trying to explain what I'm doing and why. Will demo review games for you for 5$. Streaming on twitch.tv/zerovisionlol

Wassup gamers! I took a 2-3 year break after the beta season. I ended at almost 20k. Now I'm back and I feel like I'll never get out of 8k. I soloq 90% of the time and average 110+ ADR per game. Here are my stats: https://steamcommunity.rip/id/1Poutine/
I feel like it's a skill issue and it's very frustrating. Also 8k gameplay boggles my brain. I only get kids with 300h and no game knowledge. I also choose to have a positive attitude because being toxic does not help. If a team mate makes a mistake, I try to give them tips and most of the time they listen which is pretty cool. I'm 32 and have 1k+ matches played. If anyone wants to queue with me feel free to add me.
Thank you!

What skills do I need to master going into 15k?
Not sure if I’m asking this correctly but I just started playing CS2 back in April and made decent progress (played cs 1.6 a lot when I was younger). Finished last season at 9.7k and starting season 5 at 11.7k.
Been winning my matches for the most part but I’m more and more bottom frag and barely contributing to team wins. While I’m not losing it for the team, I’m definitely not helping as much as I could. What should I be working on to increase my skill level to purple?

I’ve got about 10 hours in CS, so I know I’m still brand new, but I honestly I suck so bad. I also just recently started getting into PC/video games in general, so I’m learning pretty much everything from scratch. I really want to get better, though, and I’m willing to put the time in. What should I be focusing on first? Also, if anyone is cool and doesn’t mind playing with someone who’s still learning, I’d be down to queue sometime. I just think it’d be easier to learn with people who can point out what I’m doing wrong. I know 10 hours is basically nothing, so I’m trying to be patient with myself. Just figured I’d ask the people who’ve already gone through the learning curve. :)

r/LearnCSGO • u/PettyBolognase • 3d ago
Picked up cs2 a month ago, have 800 hours on csgo when I was a teenager but im dog shit lol. My monitor is a shitty replacement at 60hz, my shitty PC can only run cs2 at 60-70fps and I have a crappy $5 mouse + a mousepad that's falling apart.
Going to replace it all soon as I'm just getting back into PC gaming but is this sort of hardware holding me back a lot or is it just cope?

All of these clips are from 2 games, both of which I played today. I get that you'll never be 100% consistent with your aim, but every game I have at least one round where I miss something I should hit 99% of the time. I have 300+ hours in aimlabs, play 1h+ of deathmatch every day (while focusing on things to improve, not grinding it mindlessly) and here I am missing free kill after free kill. It feels like a complete joke and gets rid of any motivation I might have to improve
