Lawrenceville Pickleball League

I recently launched a pickleball flex league platform called Rally9 Pickleball, which serves the suburban Atlanta area, including Lawrenceville / Gwinnett. I've been working on this tirelessly over the last year, with the goal to help people in the area find pickleball matches in singles AND doubles, without the rigid timeline and expenses of a traditional tournament or ALTA. I have many friends that play ALTA, and ALTA is great for what it is, but it's not a flex league.

How it works:

  • Play anywhere, anytime: You pick a home court (public park, private club, etc.) and schedule a time that works for you. If you're not sure where to play, included are links to a database of all pickleball courts in your area. Coordinate and communicate with your opponent all from within the site, so your opponents don't need access to your phone number.
  • Local focus: Features local division creation, so you aren’t stuck driving the interstate for 30 minutes to get to an away match at your opponent's court. Most matches should be close by, given enough registration in your area.
  • Season Play: There's a regular season followed by a playoff tournament bracket for the top seeds. Singles leagues are 7 matches, doubles/mixed are 5 matches for the regular season. Matches are best of 3 and played to 15 points.
  • Skill-Levels: This is open to ALL skill levels, from complete beginners to 4.5+ players
  • Promotion/Demotion: Depending on how well you perform during the season/playoffs, you can move up or down divisions over time, to ensure proper rankings
  • Achievements and Badges: I also have added some special unlockable badges and achievements based on in-game outcomes and career accomplishments.

It's free to create an account, and if you want to jump into the upcoming Summer season starting very soon, there's a promo code running (FIRST9) that takes 34% off, for any league type.

I put a lot of time into this, so I'd be more than happy to explain more / answer any questions, and also extremely grateful if you could share with any friends/family interested in Pickleball.

Public Places to run D&D in Gwinnett County near Lawrenceville?

Hello! Me and a couple of my friends are home from college for the summer and wanted to run a small D&D (dungeons and dragons) game over the summer just to become reacquainted and have an excuse for us to have fun in RP. I was wondering if there’s any good nearby game store for recommendations that allow people host games? Likely somewhere near Lawrenceville, but I’m open to places and other parts of Gwinnett County . Also places that aren’t too crowded and free to run games in. It would be just a very casual game just be able to play again over the summer while we can. Because it was my suggestion I said I’d run it so I thought it would be good to find a place myself. Let me know if there’s any suggestions or places that anyone would recommend!

First apologies for any formatting issues, I'm on mobile.

Last year my aunt who lives in Lawrenceville adopted a stray female kitten that she named Jose. She never took her to the vet to get fixed and Jose used to get out of the house pretty frequently. On one of these time she got pregnant and a little less than a month ago gave birth to 4 kittens. My aunt isn't physically able to care for these cats and I cannot take them in. If there's anyone who's able to and interested in taking in all 5 please dm me.

I’ll be in Lawrenceville during Fourth of July this summer. Wondering what activities, events, or other fun things there are to do with my two kids and wife.

Thanks!

Whats fun to do here. For the fact it’s a booming metropolis the halal food scene kinda sucks. No proper Eid events either, seemed lackluster. One Qamaria in Duluth only.

Moving

My wife an I are considering moving to Lawrenceville or around the area. Im anticipating recieving a job offer from SEL in Alpharetta. Can anyone recommend this company?

We have a two year old and a baby on the way. Can anybody recommend where to buy a house and what hospital/birth center/doula?

I have a lot more questions but these are the most pressing. If anyone has any other insight I'd greatly appreciate it.

Area rug

Example attached. That store had only 7x10 but need next larger.

Seeking new places to shop for a large area rug. I like thick Turkish rug quality but not so much into busy design. More into contemporary look (circles and squares) design. Nothing catch my eye at Mall of GA rug place or Home Goods - too plain. I liked At Home store rug design, but smaller size only available and too thin. Please send recs my way here.
