Okay, so basically I didn’t know that this year LSU decided to not provide a schedule for freshman and I’ve tried to schedule my classes, but have been getting weird notices or shown that they’re full. I’m honestly so lost and have tried contacting almost everyone, but nothing is really working. I’m in the honor college and I tried talking to my honors counselor and she basically gave me some bs and tried lecturing me after I had already told her I had medical problems. I’m a Biology major and would rather not take a bunch of classes that do not serve as credit towards my major! Can anyone help me or lend me some advice?

I am a first year grad student and would prefer a 1x1. I am looking for something relatively cheap, but am willing to be flexible. Hey all! Incoming freshman here, starting this fall (EE major). I took a dual-enrollment class through LSUE last year (MUS 1751), which I finished a while back. But when I log into Workday, the LSUE branding/logo still shows up on my home page instead of LSU Baton Rouge (LSUAM), even though I'm registered as a Baton Rouge student now.

Separately—and not sure if it's related—when I pull up my Fall 2026 schedule, my registered classes are listed, but none of them show an actual time slot or meeting time. Just the course names with no schedule info attached.

It's also worth mentioning that I still have an immunization hold on my account (completing soon).

Has anyone else run into either of these? Trying to figure out if this is just a leftover/cosmetic thing from the shared LSU System Workday platform, or if I actually need to contact someone (LSUE registrar vs. LSU registrar) to get my record cleaned up before classes start. Appreciate any insight.

My daughter will be a freshman this Fall. She signed up for the collegiate club and is able to buy tickets today. Are these student tickets ? She’s telling me the prices are crazy for the good games. 600 for Bama and Clemson. Is there not student section pricing for students ?

I just moved into campus crossing and my LEDs refuse to connect to the internet I was wondering if someone has experienced the same issue and found a fix. I don’t want to have to go buy a new more expensive set when I just hung a new strip.

Do y’all think this is too much for an incoming freshman? (I’m a bio major btw) Is this manageable? I’ve taken some Dual Enrollment in high school through Nicholls and I did fine but will the workload be similar? Also do you guys have any advice on study habits and time management? My first class is at 10:30 and then basically a continuous chunk of classes until 2:20 but I only have one class on Friday! Currently first on the waitlist for CHIN 1101 with Lan Zhe which starts at 9:30, but if I don’t get it I’ll probably add another humanities or maybe fine arts survey. Anyways am I cooking myself

i'm a pre nursing student (immigrant) currently at my home country for family reasons, i can't do a double take for the hesi exam cause i'm going to be back in the us late july which wont give me time for a second retake if i do fail my first one when i get back. i'm lowkey nervous cause idk what to expect, i'm just hoping for some tips and guidance on what to expect for the exam? is there anatomy and physiology on it or is it harder than the act? idk i got a 27 on my act so im rlly just nervous about taking tests

so if a student sells their ticket back at face value, is that up for grabs by anyone or just students? and also, is that something we’d have to check on our own or would their be an email or whatever sent out about tickets being sold?

Hi! I’m an incoming graduate student and I already have an apartment near the stadium side of LSU, although it is still a bit of a distance from where I’ll need to be on campus. I also won’t have a car.
For anyone who lives around that area without a car, what are the main things I should know? I’d appreciate any tips about Tiger Trails, biking or walking to campus, getting groceries, staying safe, dealing with rain and heat, and getting around during football games or other busy events. Are there any useful apps, routes, or services I should know about before moving?

I think I messed up creating a my TigerLink. When I use the app I get stuck in a perpetual loading screen and it only resolves if I login through a browser first. Aside from that it does not stay logged in, so this is a repeating process. On top of that, on my profile I am labeled as a “guest”. Will that change once classes start or did I mess up in registering my account too early? I did make it with my school email so it’s not a problem in that regard. Any advice?

I swear my fee bill went up a few grand. For reference I’m going into my junior year- last year I paid 9k (out of state with scholarship). This year it says 13k (with scholarship). Did this happen to anyone else?
