I finally finished my website designed for students studying for the LSAT who are looking to have a cleaner, more optimized error log. Just a note: this is not a post for tutoring, just a helpful tool I created that can hopefully help you study.

It comes with a couple of cool features that I think could be a big help to students. I added analytics that can graph out all of your logged errors and give you multiple graphs that show where you are going wrong most, what level of question you are messing up on, LR vs RC split, etc...

I also added a section where you can add your practice tests with the dates you've taken them. This gives you a graph where you can see how much your score is increasing over time. This includes features where you can set score goals, add your testing date, and add blind vs timed scores to see how much you need to improve with speed!

My favourite feature is the discussion section. When you log an error with the site, you can add which PT it was, the section, question number, and the answer you chose. This opens up a small interface under the question where you can make comments under the question and reply to others while seeing the percentage of the most commonly picked answers for that question. (Must have an account to use this feature)

A lot of these features won't be nearly as cool until people actually start using the error log and submitting their results. I have an import feature where you can turn existing logs into CSVs, where you can then quickly upload all your existing errors, so don't let already having an error log turn you away!

Not sure if this is the right environment but I need a bit of a push from people that can relate to the effort of studying and prep and don't have too many in my personal life besides my partner, who I don't want to stress out.

I'm in my early 30s and after 8 years of working and getting a good job in corporate America, I made the decision last fall to try and pivot into the law career I'd been talking about since the pandemic. I don't have any family or friends in the field, so research and prep has been all just on my shoulders without much but online and print resources.

After about a month of just studying and doing some practice sections but not fully timed or graded practice tests. I finally took the time for my first cold practice test (at home on Lawhub but still legitimately done!) and got a 167. I immediately felt 1) full-blown imposter syndrome like I must've gotten lucky and 2) immense pride and hope that it was actually possible and I'm not as much of an idiot as I feel some of the time.

I planned to do at LEAST two more cold tests, examine them in full, practice with the books on the pieces I struggle with, and go from there.

Then the holidays interrupted things and I had no time. Then January happened, and a million awful things here in the U.S. that left me mentally and emotionally drained so much I couldn't focus and knew I couldn't keep my head in the studying.

So instead I focused on my partner and I's plans to buy a house in the next 2 years, since their business is going well and I'm still holding down the corpo job, to try and have some goal in life to work toward that didn't demand screen time and had the cold hard simplicity of numbers.

Well we have our goal in mind and the math works out for us to get there, a year from now, as long as the job situations hold. And I find myself really regretting not getting back to the rhythm I had, after a really promising first practice and feeling like it was genuinely one of the things I feel most suited to do and could help do good with as a profession and within local communities rather than the current unfulfilling and ideologically sickening grind I'm on track for.

All of this to say... I really need some help and would love any friendly advice to get back into things after allowing myself to derail at the worst time. I'm getting closer to mid-30s, trying to buy a house, hate the company I work for, and am struggling to determine that the risk of pursuing this is going to pan out, let alone be 'worth' it.

I want to go to law school in the fall of ‘27

Currently (July 21) my practice test has been a 144. I am hoping to score in the 165+ when I take my official test. I know it’s a long shot but it’s not impossible. I’m curious though if I should take my test in October or November? Giving myself an extra month to study can be huge.

However that means I won’t apply until late November/ early December. When is a good time to apply? Is late November/ early December too late in the admission cycle? If I were to take the test in October I’d be applying in late October/ early November. I need help or opinions or someone to just give me direction on what I should do.

Alright fellas, I’m registered for the August LSAT and just came off the June LSAT with a 150. I think a lot of that score was test day stress, but does anyone have any tips for RC? That seems to be my biggest struggle under pressure. I’m only looking for a mid to high 150s score.
