Boudri gone already?!
I thought Boudri seemed really promising from what we got to see of him. I guess I hope this means they’re making room for a significant signing.

Hey 3252!
Apologies in advance for this rambling post lol.
I'm flying in for the Whitecaps vs LAFC match, and I'm incredibly excited. I’m a huge Tottenham fan and Son is my favourite player of all time! The only other football match I’ve been to was LAFC’s last match in Vancouver in November. I’ve been supporting LAFC since Son’s transfer, and watch every match from home in Canada. You bet I was the only one cheering for LAFC in my section haha.
Anyways, this time, I managed to get seats in the 3rd row, just off to the side of the visitors' bench (not directly behind it), so I'm excited to see the team close up!
I know it may not happen, but I’m hoping for the chance to meet Son at some point. I don’t want to bother him or be pushy, so I’m hoping he either comes up to the stands himself or there’s an appropriate opportunity before or after the match where players are greeting fans.
For anyone who has been to matches at BC Place or have seen LAFC on the road, is there anything I should know? Are there any good opportunities to respectfully meet players or ways to gently get their attention?
I'm also torn on what I should bring to get signed (assuming I meet any players lol). I wanted to wear my LAFC jersey to the game, and then bring Son’s Korean team jersey for him to sign, as that seems the most meaningful for him. Holding it up could also help get his attention? At the same time, if I happen to meet other players, I'd love to have something they could all sign since I genuinely love the entire squad. I feel like if I wear the LAFC jersey, it’s not the best thing to get signed because I won’t be able to wash it after wearing. I have an LAFC x Son t-shirt too, or could print a picture out to get signed? I also have things like Son's Panini Golden Baller card, the sticker album etc.
The jerseys were kind of hard to get in Canada, but I suppose I could replace the LAFC jersey. I just wouldn’t be able to wear it to the match if i want a clean, easy-to-sign option.
What would you do? Any advice is welcome!
I know I’m way over-thinking this and may not even meet any players, but I want to be prepared so I don’t squander the opportunity if it arises haha.
I'd really appreciate any tips or advice from people who've done this before. Thank you!
P.S. Looking forward to watching today’s match against RSL! Vamos Black and Gold!!

Hello everyone! I’m a new LAFC fan, and my first match was on July 17. I had an amazing time!
I have the opportunity to attend one of these upcoming matches
• 7/25 vs. Sporting Kansas City
• 8/12 vs. Querétaro
• 9/9 vs. New York Red Bulls
If you could only choose one, which would you recommend?

Hey Everyone,
Do you think I will have any trouble getting a ride home from a 730 start time game to OC after the game?

I’m taking my 7 year old son to our first LAFC match. We stopped by the adidas outlet to pick up a jersey but they only had the youth away kit. Is it fine for him to wear the away kit or would it be better for him to just wear a black T‑shirt for a home game?

I’ve been a STH for 3 seasons and am still scarred by the chaos of Hello Kitty night 😁. I’d really like to get a Son bobblehead tomorrow and am wondering what other peoples game plan is.
I’m hoping to arrive to the stadium by 5:30. Do we think that’s early enough? Has to be, right?

Several other fans said it but I also think that player #25 was brought on to foul and mess with Son. Son is very patient player but it gets to a point… he will dish it back lol

Not a big deal but anyone know why we’ve played 16 games when almost all other clubs at 14 or 15? I would have thought with our schedule so slammed first half of the season we’d have fewer games played not more….?

Just bought a new $1200 4k tv for the world cup and the LA Clasico was the first MLS game I watched on it, and the overhead shots look like absolute dogshit. When the broadcast switches to the side cams or the super up close cams on the players faces it looks great and 4k, but the overhead is terrible looks like worse than 720p.
The weird thing is I watched the highlights on youtube and the overhead shots there looked great, no fuzzyness or anything.
Allegedly Apple TV broadcasts MLS games in 4k but honestly the 720p broadcast of the WC on Fox One looked way better.
I even bought a Roku today and tested it and the MLS overhead shots still look fuzzy.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Last fall when I lived in LA I bought a ticket to a game and even though it was fun and LAFC won, I didn't realize till that week that Son was on international duty.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been a massive soccer (football) fan/ player my whole life and have always been glued to the World Cup every four years, but for whatever reason, I’ve never truly committed to an MLS team.
Living in the South Bay, I’ve been to a few Galaxy games growing up, but I’ll be honest—I never really felt that "spark" or the kind of electric atmosphere I was looking for. My wife and I have been on a mission recently to finally pick our club. We’re currently in the process of visiting games at both Galaxy and LAFC stadiums to really get an objective feel for the culture in person.
I have to say, there’s been a few differences that have been night and day even before checking out the games in person:
Crowd (3252?) is so much louder than Galaxy fans. That’s what we are looking for. My wife and I are in our mid 30’s with a toddler, but we don’t want a stadium primarily filled with cringey half-assed chants or casuals only watching maybe half the game. We want passionate crowds. We want to hear the heart and soul of the fans.
Going
back and forth on the subreddits, this sub has been SO much more active during the game. Once again, passions seems to be there.
Oh, and it helps that LAFC have a much more exciting roster (although I know rosters are only temporary and Galaxy are missing Puig/ sold Pec/ are waiting on large DP signing). But pretty fucking cool to say that you have Son, and Hugo fucking Lloris. Admittedly I d
id
like Reus too back in Germany’s golden era, but I digress. Oh, and after doing research and seeing Bouanga is a goal scoring fiend/ got golden boot.. alongside some Canadian nationals… what an exciting team right now
to support.
We’ve already decided on our first in-person match to really get the full experience: the San Diego FC game on August 15th at BMO. We are counting down the days and honestly, I think we’ve already made our decision.
Sorry for the novel - just wanted to stop by and share some of the excitement with this group. Can’t wait to join the atmosphere!
Edit and I already fucked up the title lol… Gold*
