Discussion Stalker from Kuwait

Upvotes

A woman is stalking myself and my husband. We reside in the US.

She is a Ukranian living in Kuwait City

Any suggestions as to who I can call in Kuwait?

We know her name, address and DOB.

We have already contacted the FBI, SBI, DGCA, her employer and the FAA (both she and my husband are in the airline industry)

She's doxxed our address and continues to send emails to his work address.

Additionally, God bless kuwait and it's citizens. I hate what our shitty American president is doing to your region.

Ask Kuwait Working moms in Kuwait (especially teachers), I really need your advice. ❤️

I'm a teacher with a 10-month-old baby and have been offered a teaching job. Due to our financial situation, I need to work, but that means putting my baby in daycare since my husband and I both work.

Does it get easier to balance work and a baby? How did your little one adjust to daycare?

Also, can anyone recommend a licensed daycare in Mangaf for a 10-month-old, preferably with CCTV access for parents? I've heard some scary stories about unlicensed daycares and want a safe place. How much do good daycares usually cost?

It's just me and my husband here in Kuwait, so we don't have any family support. I'd really appreciate your recommendations and experiences. Thank you

Ask Kuwait Best app to learn Kuwaiti Arabic?

Hi everyone,

I’m an Indian who moved to Kuwait for work. I want to learn Kuwaiti Arabic so I can communicate better with my colleagues and customers.

I’m looking for an app that focuses on speaking and understanding everyday Kuwaiti Arabic, not just Modern Standard Arabic.

What apps, YouTube channels, websites, or other resources would you recommend? I’d especially appreciate suggestions from people who learned Kuwaiti Arabic while living in Kuwait.

Thanks in advance!

Ask Kuwait Any anglers / fishing enthusiasts around ?

Hi , I recently got really interested in fishing and was looking around for starting points locally >

Ended up buying the essentials for fishing now just the practicality left to experience I guess. Most likely I could learn to do it solo but it would be more interesting learning and meeting people who share the same interests or in general have more experience than I do (zero).

I know some people are more closed off and It’s completely cool if you’re not interested in partaking but don’t hesitate to reach out even if it’s just for talking about fishing, dropping some advice or sharing cool fishing spots 👀.

Discussion places to get prescription glasses and lenses with a budget of around 30-50 KD

Looking to get a new pair of glasses. I don't care about frame brands at all and want to keep that part as low as possible. However, I know lens quality varies a lot, so I don't mind spending extra for good lenses (clarity, coatings, etc.). My budget is around 30-50 KD (if this is reasonable ?)

how reliable are glasses from zennis ? the reason I didnt go for the online route is because I want to try them on before buying

Any recommendations for budget-friendly shops that also offer premium lens brands ?

A friend is planning to open a sandwich shop in South Kuwait. He will handle the food and daily operations but needs someone experienced in marketing, sales, and business management as a partner.

What are the best platforms, IG accounts, communities, or places in Kuwait for finding a suitable business partner?

Or any general recommendation on where to find that partner?

Ask Kuwait urgently help needed for my friend's family who was affected by the jleeb raid !!!

Hi everyone, I'm gonna try to keep this as short as possible but I'm posting on behalf of my friend who lived in jleeb and was told to evacuate immediately, they have multiple family members that they need to support (elderly grandmother, little children, elderly father etc)

the son is the sole breadwinner and he is currently not making enough to support all of them and the father lost his job a couple of months back due to severe health issues

  • my friend wants to help out and desperately needs a job to keep them afloat, she is hardworking, reliable and has tutoring experience etc, preferably she's looking for an assistant teacher related job (if there's anything else she is also open to that too) she's also currently pursuing a BBA but if doesn't find a job she wont be able to continue her studies :(
  • she is also looking for a job for her father who is slowly recovering but he cannot work difficult jobs due to recent health issues, he has worked in a hotel as a waiter, and in other multiple places as a helper for years (15+ years) now he's looking for an office boy job since it seems reliable...

she’s at a total breaking point. Between the trauma of the raid, her dad’s failing health, and trying to keep the kids and elderly family members safe, she is carrying a massive burden.

If anyone knows of businesses hiring immediately, entry-level openings, or temporary work, please let me know. Your help could literally save this family from losing everything right now.

Thank you for reading
