I had huge respect for Pa. Ranjith and Neelam. They spoke up on many issues during the last ruling government’s but now on the NEET issue they have remained silent. I expected them to raise their voice for against NEET but finally they didn’t show in Balan illam, Chennai. All they did was invited some celebrities did a protest and looks like they did some campaign🙂

As an atheist, I have criticisms of Christianity and all religions.

But it still hurts when someone uses the slur "rice bag."

My paternal ancestors once led nearly half of the village, as my great-grandfather's family belonged to a tribal chieftain/local leadership lineage. However, because of caste discrimination and social oppression, my ancestors lost their status, fell into poverty, and were even forced to beg.

Later, some genuinely kind Christians helped my great-grandfather receive an education. Just as Netaji had a European wife, European friends, and a Christian mentor, receiving help from Christians does not diminish anyone's patriotism or identity.

Many of us still follow our local ethnic culture, speak our native language, and are deeply patriotic toward India.

A historical fact that is often overlooked is that some Indian communities had already converted to Christianity and Islam long before the arrival of European colonial powers.
