Page 1 just announced the cast for the 10th Anniversary of the musical Gone Tomorrow which will play from September 15th 2026 to November 29th 2026 at the Hongik University Grand Theatre in Daehakro.

Is this the first iteration of Elisabeth without the big actresses of the 2010s? Either way I am actually JUMPING FOR JOY at Lina getting Elisabeth though! Also considering she is nearing her 40s so that's the perfect age for an Elisabeth, Ock Joohyun was quite young with her barely 32 in 2013. Lina is, imo, is one of the most underrated, not just idol, but also in general singers and vocalists of Korea and I still regularly listen to her "그리운 땅" from Ben Hur the musical. She has insanely stable technique and a timbre you couldn't mistake for anyone else.

Lee Ji Hye is Ock Joo hyun's most successful female "protege", and while her vocal skills are definitely not questioned, she does seem very much too sweet and too "soft" to play an Elisabeth to me - I am most willing to be surprised though. Kim So Hyun, who falls into the same vocal line as her, was also a little bit older than her when she did Elisabeth. Lmao not me getting schooled in the comments sections lmao I haven't kept up with musicals in a damn long time, just disregard what I said about Jihye cus I typed this out at 1 am hehe

I sadly don't know much about Lee Ji Soo but it is a name I have seen in the casts for a few years now. I am quite curious to see this truly new generation of Elisabeths do their thing, and I'll be eager to see how different or similar their versions are going to be!

About Tod and Lucheni, we have some experienced folks with Park Eun Tae and Kai on there. I'm happy that EMK isn't pulling a stunt casting this time, and actually gave musical actors the chance to earn their bread and butter haha.

Hi hi ! I really want to go see the musical 드애귤라 this summer and I'd really like to see 전동석 performing but I don't know how I can check which actor will be performing before booking a ticket. Is that even possible ? I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me <3

I went to see this on a recent holiday to Korea and loved it...even though I don't speak Korean. I knew the story well so it didn't matter.

Dear musical lovers,

Are there any musicals that I can enjoy with English subtitles or something of the sort? I will be visiting South Korea end of May to mid-June and would love to catch some musicals but unfortunately my Korean is very basic. Is there a way to search for something like this? I heard that Solo Leveling on ICE had english subs available on mobile so I was wondering if other musicals do this too?

Another year, another idol casting for a musical that did NOT need one... I'm happy Cha Ji Yeon is back and I know she will kill it. Excited for Lee Bomsori too. I just wish Sieun godspeed and hope that she manages the Pansori parts well and gives a good performance. She can sing yes but she's neither the best vocalist of her generation nor is she necessarily known for having a "big voice" so I'm worried how her voice will translate to a musical stage. Even Solar from Mamamoo struggled despite having all the qualities on paper, and Solar is, well, Solar. It also shouldn't come as a surprise that the only SM idols to have "stayed" in musicals are Lina from CSJH and ex-TVXQ Kim Junsu. Even Bada from S.E.S. or Seohyun from SNSD don't do musicals anymore. I feel like companies use people for clout and then just don't call them back anymore.

Hi, just curious whether last minute discounted tickets (in North America often referred to as "rush") are ever sold for shows that are not fully sold out by the day of the show? I have always bought my show tickets in advance on my last few trips, but hoping to stretch my budget and see more shows this time around. Thank you for any insights!
