I was inspired by the Stick Men’s upcoming album Let’s THRAK Again and would love to make a playlist with songs in that style.

whenever I see a king crimson post the comments are flooded with spammed gifs of Kanye and jojos bizarre adventure. No one is talking about the actual music. curious to hear your thoughts?

Hello everybody!

About 8 years ago on the 24th of June 2018 I saw King Crimson live in Vienna and it was one of the best concerts I ever was at.
I especially loved them playing alot from Lizard and the Improv that Tony Levin played after Moonchild was amazing, even made Robert laugh.

Now, it's been quite some time and I have been hoping they would release a download for the concert someday. I have been scowering nugs and the dgmlive website ever since but the only track they ever uploaded was Islands.

I would love to just listen to the whole thing again, so I was wondering if I maybe haven't checked every source and maybe there is a download for it somewhere? I'm not asking for something for free, I know the dgm website charges money for some downloads and I would gladly give them some money to listen to this one again.

Maybe I just have to wait for a little longer, but if anybody here has something please tell me!

Did a chronological re-listen of all of the major albums recently, and whilst going through all of them this idea popped up. I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic and some of these songs just screamed "dance with that special someone" to me. I hope one day I can. TLDR, A small compilation/playlist of some of the more slow King Crimson songs I think would make excellent slow dances.

Who was there? It was amazing. The energy in the audience was great. Fripp was in the audience, i didn't go ask for a pic though. If i ever get the chance to see them live again i will definitely take that chance. Absolutely mindblowing playing by everyone, and you could feel the bass/stick and the bass drum vibrating through the floor and it felt like a stampede of elephants. Quite fitting.

With Beat’s Europe tour coming to a close- do you think we’ll hear about some more shows soon? I’ve heard rumors for some U.S. dates in late fall/winter- Has anyone heard venue rumors?

Also, Stick Men just released a new album, “Let’s Thrak Again”- hopeful we get some tour dates this year but it will probably depend on Tony’s schedule.

Other than The Belew, Levin, Mastelloto & Friends show at Bearsville Theater, Tu-Ner’s tour for their new album, “Rendezvous Rodeo”, and David Cross doing two festival sets in Europe- do you think we’ll see any more “Crimson” concert dates announced in 2026?

in the dream part of moonchild, i always tought ian mcdonald played the chords on piano, but after looking at personnel, piano isnt credited, and you can hear guitar sliding sounds when the 3 chords are played towards the end of the verses. is it really guitar? how did fripp get such a sound?

If you were there, how did you like it? Also, does Tony always use the Stick for Red on this tour?

Im a new KC fan and recently i was listening to the whole SABB album, but on the chorus of the first song i can hear a second voice apart from John Wetton. Who does the backing vocals on that song?

I’ve been looking for a while and have only found ai generated tabs that aren’t right.

I think there are 2 from Belew era (yoli yoli and i remember how to forget) + one semi crimson by wetton/bruford from 1976 supposedly written for failed KC reunion. And of course the whole jakko era

Is there anyone who learned it?

I wonder if I can learn to play bass line and sing for a possible gig in +-15 days. I know the vocal parts, and I'm slightly above average bassist. Just want to know if anyone had to deal with it.

I thought it was amusing to hear how a metalcore band talks about KC's musicianship.
