Well, I’m sure this has been long forgotten to time by this point but a long time ago, I made a “best possible lineup” for 5M Sprint, and had a lot of fun writing it. I never got around to making it for any other events, though, until now! So, you guys get this! The best possible 16 marble event, this time for Funnel Endurance.
NOTE:No team can have more than one marble, so sorry, Raspberry Racers. I will also be counting the Obstacle Funnel Endurance for this. With that said, let’s do this! And let me know if you find this interesting or not, these are quite fun to research for.
Rezzy, Raspberry Racers - Next.
Sterling, Shining Swarm - Next.
Kinnowin, O’rangers - And those two conclude our obvious marbles, this event is generally a lot less predictable than 5M Sprint from the best I can tell. Two second place finishes in 2020 and 2025 highlight Kinnowin’s resume in Funnels, but even outside of that, they are very solid. Kinnowin has finished 7th in 2017 and in 2021, 4th in 2022, 9th in 2023, and 8th in the Showdown in 2026. Despite the O’rangers letting Tarocco try their luck in 2024, Kinnowin is an easy inclusion on this list, and one of the best funnels marbles the ML has to offer.
Mocha, Chocolatiers - Sometimes I forget that Mocha won this event in 2021, but they did! It’s surprisingly enough not just that win that gets them here, either. 6th in 2017, 11th in 2022 (their only poor showing), 5th in 2024, 9th in the 2025 Showdown, and 4th in 2026. In an event that is inherently less predictable than something like Sprint, that’s easily enough to make it here, and near the top.
Whizzy, Savage Speeders - I was a bit hesitant to choose between Whizzy and Speedy for this pick. Whizzy has finished 4th in 2017, 3rd in 2020, 6th in 2021, 8th in 2024, 5th in 2025, and 9th in 2026. No wins, and only one medal, but almost always good and never bad. Meanwhile, Speedy won this event in 2019, but their only other appearance was 9th in 2022. So, I gave it to Whizzy, who has a more proven track record vs Speedy, who only has done well one time.
Pinky Rosa, Pinkies - Dead last in 2025 sticks out like an absolute sore thumb on an otherwise fantastic resume in this event. Rosa finished 7th in 2022, earned a silver medal in 2023, 5th in the Snowdown in 2024, and bounced back from the aforementioned last with a bronze in 2026. An easy inclusion.
Mary, Team Primary - The first ever winner of Funnel Endurance! Mary hasn’t seen much success in this event since that gold medal in 2017, but had some good moments, particularly a 4th in the Showdown in 2021, and a 5th in the Showdown in 2023. Even though the post-2017 results aren’t the most consistent, and Primary has for some reason stopped playing Mary in this event, they’re a safe pick.
Minty Drizzel, Minty Maniacs - Another one time winner who has slowly fallen off in this event. Drizzel, of course, won this event in 2020, which was followed by a 12th place in 2021. However, a 5th place in 2022, 4th in the Showdown in 2023, and 6th in the Snowdown in 2024 is enough to stay on the list, even despite a dead last place finish in the Showdown in 2025.
Ounce, Oceanics - The results outside the win are terrible, but gotta give the people what they want, right? In all seriousness, the 2025 win and bronze in the Showdown in 2023 is great, but a 13th in the 2022 Showdown and 14th in 2026 is not so much. Even with the memes that Ounce will get as the Maid Bowl winner of ML26, they’re a pretty good Funnels marble, and will make it here.
Rojo Dos, Rojo Rollers - Didn’t expect Rojo Dos to make it here, but they have two podiums, a bronze in the main league in 2021 as well as in the Showdown in 2019. To go along with that, they have an 8th place in the 2022 Showdown, and a 6th place in the Rollers’ return to the main league in 2023. After a poor showing in the 2024 Showdown, they surprisingly lost their spot as this teams’ Funnel Endurance marble, but I still feel comfortable including them on this list.
Shock, Thunderbolts - Shock, in a different fashion to many others, makes it here due to being reliably solid instead of min-maxxing. They have finished 5th in 2019, 8th in 2020, 4th in 2021, 8th in 2023, 8th again in the 2025 Showdown, and peaked recently with a 2nd place in this past Showdown. Despite the one stain on their otherwise good track record, dead last in the 2024 Snowdown, Shock is a safe marble to include in this hypothetical event.
Shelly, Turtle Sliders - Shelly makes it here completely exclusively due to Showdown results. Shelly has finished 8th in the Showdown in 2021, 4th in 2024, won it in 2025, and finished 4th again in 2026. Even with no main league experience, Shelly is very consistent at an inconsistent event, so they comfortably land here. Please, Turtle Sliders, I am begging you, BEGGING YOU, QUALIFY! THE TALENT IS SO CLEARLY THERE YOU JUST-i need to stop crashing out over this.
Indie, Indigo Stars - And so will Indie. Indie has finished 6th and 12th in the main league, in 2026 and 2019 respectively, but won this event in the Showdown in 2023, finished second in 2025 and got a solid 7th in 2024. The main league results are mid, but the Showdown finishes are great, so Indie lands here.
Gnome, Kobalts - And Gnome will as well! Back to back wins in the 2021 and 2022 Showdown iterations of Funnels can’t be ignored. Since then, they’ve finished 15th in the 2023 Showdown, didn’t in 2024 because that saw Azure in for some reason, then finished 6th in the 2025 ML and 15th again in 2026. It’s only two Showdown wins, really, but in an event with comparatively lower standards, it’s enough.
Heart, Black Jacks - I heavily debated including a couple of marbles for this spot, however after a decent bit of deliberation I landed on Heart. Heart has a third place finish in 2024, their best result to date. Outside of that, a 4th in the 2022 Showdown, 7th in the 2023 Showdown, and then 8th and 13th in the main league is respectable enough that I did decide to include Heart on here.
Murky, Hazers - One of Funnel Endurance’s best teams oddly has an EXTREMELY difficult decision to make. They do not have a go-to marble in this event, it’s kind of just whoever. Foggy, Smoggy, Cloudy and Murky have all played in this event, and if we include Qualifiers and the All-Stars (I don’t for these lists but just to emphasize my point), so have Hazy and Misty. This pick came down to Cloudy and Murky for me, as both of them have a 3rd place finish in the Showdown, but Cloudy has a 6th place in the Showdown and a 9th place main league finish, whereas Murky has a 5th place finish in the 2026 main league. I opted to go with Murky, as I value the very good finish in the top league more, but it’s extremely close. Honestly, Murky probably should be beaten out for this spot by Mo or Limelime, but I can’t not include a Hazer.
That’s the lineup! However, since this event had several marbles I strongly considered to include that did not make it (which was not the case with the Sprint top 16), I will quickly go through some Honorable Mentions. If you’ve made it this far, thank you so much!
Honorable Mentions: Mo (Team Momo), Limelime (Limers, these two are the biggest snubs), Orange Eye (Crazy Cat’s Eyes), Snowy (Snowballs), Sirius (Wolfpack), Ghosto (Team Plasma)
That’s it! My typical apology if this is a bit dull/boring/whatever to read. And yes, I’ll get around to posting a new video soon. I've been lacking motivation badly lately, but I’ve got some ideas that I want to make happen. Good luck to your favorite team, and have a great day!
