I've recently been listening to a lot vocaloid songs but I have a feeling I'm missing out on a lot of goated music. Cuz why are there are like 20+ vocaloid characters, songs dropping every day and hundreds of producers.
My current favourite is Deco\*27 but I would love to hear everyone else's favourites and recommendations!

Crystal Lake still counts as Japanese music, right? Their songs are in English but they’re a metalcore band from Japan.
Anyway, mods, just please delete this if you think it’s irrelevant to the sub. 🥲
Anyway, I recently got to shoot Crystal Lake for a local publication on their final tour date on their U.S. Summer tour with Jinjer and Entheos.
They are currently without a permanent lead vocalist. Myke Terry (he is in several bands) was the fill-in vocalist for this show. He’s no Ryo Kinoshita but I have to admit that Myke did the songs justice.
Here are a couple of pics from the shoot. I got a picture with the band at the end of the night too. 😅

This is Suzuka Tomita's very first solo concert, held at Tachikawa Stage Garden on July 23, 2025, just before her graduation. Produced by MTV, she performed a total of 10 songs, ranging from Hinatazaka46 tracks to covers, backed by a one-night-only original live band. Her close friend Konoka Matsuda also made a guest appearance, treating fans to a special performance as "Hanachans."
It starts at 8:00 PM JST on July 23, 2026. Please note that there will be no archive available!

I randomly came across this artist names Tasogare Loop through YT Music mix and I suspect it to be AI considering all of their songs are super recent, released really quickly and I cannot found any information of them outside of their YT channel. Also the mixing on the voice sounds a bit weird, and it reminds me of some AI Cover.
Wydt?

Love this song. These guys seemed to come out of nowhere, and there's only one song on youtube. They look a bit older than what I'd expect of a new band, which adds to the allure imo. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Anison specialist Mayu Maeshima has a new anison for Clevatess. She *was the vocalist of Myth and Roid (2015 - 2017) as well, but this is from her solo work.
The composer R.O.N is also well known in the anison community and they put together this absolutely beast of a track. One of my favorite anison of the year.
