So, I’ve noticed something strange about the BM fandom and wanted to ask if someone would be able to maybe provide some insight.

It seems that one of the best aspects of the fandom are the fans, you get a lot of very nice people who are really friendly and welcoming, and love the music. This is the majority.

And it also seems that the worst part is also the fans. And what I mean by this is I have seen a number of fans doing things like trying to gatekeep the concert experience from older fans, or fans who spout off about their personal expectations if you attend a BM show how you are to act (what I mean is fans who don’t respect those around them who maybe just want a relaxed time and aren’t there to be involved in some mosh pit or slamming into each other) or just otherwise being genuine jerks. This is the minority, but they do an amazing job really frustrating those around them.

I guess my question is, why are some people like this? Do they not understand BM is meant to be an inclusive, all-ages experience that everyone is welcome at and can enjoy however they want?

But was disappointed to not see any merch
Saw a tiktok video where someone said they sold it after their show but i was too locked in on architects bad omens and bmth to leave my spot so i couldnt have gotten it even if i knew but i would sell my soul for a single piece of merch that says they were at graspop so is there any chance of it being released online?

I noticed in Jpop sometimes they keep all the same members and change the concept, name, and genre. While still doing the original group. It might be fun as a onetime thing if they did a K-pop structured song. They could combine with the members from Metalverse and call the temp group Baby Pop Verse. They'd get a chance to dress like k-pop stars. I think Moa would like that. They could try Country and call them selves Country Baby.

I know this was for YouTube music and im not sure of the metrics but I didnt realize the extent of almost 8 million listeners I was in the top 1500. They dont say the amount of time listened but now I'm curious. I know theres probably people in this sub with way more

Hello, fellow Kitsunes! Some time ago, I had decided to start my BM collector journey. I have since then bought quite a few "rare" pieces but I'd like to catch up on the THE ONE Limited Editions before LEGEND - METAL FORTH TOLE comes out.

One of my next targets is probably the Metal Galaxy one, as it is very affordable. However, I haven't seen it being sold with the densetsu no (legendary) pizza box. Does this mean it didn't come with one? I would also be thankful if anyone provided me with either a list or a link towards a site/thread that has more details regarding which THE ONE LEs have or do not have a box. Thank you ^^

I ordered it when it was live in the store and ofc there was the delay but when was it that they were gonna ship cuz I can see some stores like hmv have them in stock online.

After having seen Slaughter to Prevail today, I'm only two artists away from reaching my goal. :) I'm seeing Spiritbox in September, so that leaves Polyphia.

Aaand I'm afraid I'm going to have to take that loss. From what I've seen they rarely do shows in Europe, and either way, I'm not much of a fan of their music and their BM collabs are both the weakest of their respective albums for me. We'll see.

So as things are a bit quieter here between shows, I figure I would try a twist on a question that's been posed before.

We all (or most) have our favourite memorable dance sequences from the library but what about the less well known or more "minor" bits of a song? That is, moves that don't repeat in a song or aren't widely talked about or even recorded that are still neat and maybe being missed. For example, and what prompted me to post:

1)Elevator girl - there is a part where Su marches towards the audience while the other two march in parallel away from her on either side, arms straight down. Nothing demanding or overly showy, but Su seems to be having so much fun with it that is always makes me smile.

2)Time wave - all three sequentially launch into some robotic sharp arm movements (hands on a clockish style) early in the song. Maybe more obscure by virture of the fact Time Wave isn't really shot very often, rather than being buried by other moves.

To make things more interesting/more of a discovery for others, I suggest excluding Give Me Chocolate, Megitsune, CMIC and Yava! entirely from the question - not because they aren't terrific but the opposite (ie. there are too many outstanding and well-known sequences from those)

Alt-rock band Sapporo Bousho (札幌某所 "Somewhere in Sapporo") has also been added as the opening act for BM's Sonic Stage in Tokyo (Aug 16).

Bio [translated]: Based in Sapporo (Hokkaido), Sapporo Bousho is a teenage alternative band comprising of 19-year-olds. They began uploading their music to social media in 2024. The band was formed in 2022 when vocalist Kaito, who had been a 'ghost member' of his school's light music club, began writing original songs on his guitar while studying abroad in Canada. Their first single Saizensen (最前線 "Front Line"), featuring lyrics that reflect the true feelings and creative impulses of that formative age, quickly attracted attention after they debuted on the Sapporo live music scene. Since then, they have primarily focused on performances in their hometown, & after several personnel changes, have settled into their current lineup. In August 2025, they performed in the third round of the Tokyo live auditions for "Mynavi Senkou Riot 2025" (マイナビ閃光ライオット2025). Despite being eliminated, they were showcased in the School Of Lock-produced featurette "THE FIRST STEP Another Story: Documentary of Sapporo Bousho" which was uploaded into Youtube [now privated after I checked], and Saizensen also became the opening theme song for "Senkou Riot". Along with attending university, they have been actively performing live both within and outside Hokkaido, and is one of the most talked-about bands in the Sapporo music scene.

Many J-fans also noted the Mountain Stage timeslots for Tatsuya Kitani キタニタツヤ, which are scheduled in between Ave Mujica/Pendulum (Osaka) & Pendulum/MGK (Tokyo). His stage location is also nearby, particularly at Makuhari Messe, for a possible live team-up of Kasuka na Hana.

PassCode, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Man With A Mission, Hanabie, Paledusk, Band-Maid, et al. will also be performing at the Tokyo-only Pacific Stage over the three days.

My biggest disappointment with BABYMETAL is that despite Rob Halfords repeatedly stated desire there has never been another collab. I consider this to be their greatest collab ever and it was instrumental in their rise.

I think Shanti Shanti is a really good song to play at a party and get people to dance. I mean just a regular party with no BM fans or metal fans in general.

Ten years ago yesterday, I joined two friends on a trip to Los Angeles to see Babymetal at the Wiltern. I had a crappy iPhone at the time, and I’m not sure where the full pictures are now. The only ones I can find are the ones in this Pic Stitch I made and posted to Facebook.

Can`t believe one month have already passed. Since they performed in Hannover. It truly was an unforgettable experience and concert (at least for me), and I am so extremely gratefull that we have Babymetal. ❤❤

They brought so much happiness to me, and I have still not gotten over the concert🥹🥹 I truly felt 100% carefree, and the concert felt like it was over in 2 minutes.😭 All you people who was there also made the experience even better, and it was very nice to talk to some of you. It was truly an unforgettable day, and I am so grateful for being able to attend.

In the end, please forgive me for posting this emotional rants on the sub, Babymetal mean everything to me.
